Blasphemy! Heresy! Who does this man think he is, claiming to speak directly to God?! Jesus did it, Muhammad did it, the Jewish prophets did it, but none of their Gods had the sardonic wit or raw verve of Prophet Walsch's God. Neale Donald Walsch isn't claiming to be the Messiah of a new religion, just a frustrated man who sat down one day with pen in his hand and some tough questions in his heart. As he wrote his questions to God, he realized that God was answering them... directly... through Walsch's pen. The result, far from the apocalyptic predictions or cultic eccentricities you might expect, turns out to be matter-fact, in-your-face wisdom on how to get by in life while remaining true to yourself and your spirituality.
Book Description
Conversations with God Book 1 began a series that has been changing millions of lives for more than ten years. Finally, the bestselling series is now a movie, starring Henry Czerny (The Pink Panther and Clear and Present Danger) and Ingrid Boulting (The Last Tycoon). Produced and directed by Stephen Simon (producer of Somewhere in Time and What Dreams May Come) and distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Fox Home Entertainment, the theatrical release is set for October 27, 2006. The movie is the true account of Walsch (played by Cierny), who went from an unemployed homeless man to an "accidental spiritual messenger" and author of the bestselling book

THE BIBLE IS NOT THE FINAL AUTHORITY.......2007-10-23
Most church goers don't believe God ever talks to people directly any more simply their assumption is: If God ain't doing it in OUR denomination He ain't doing it NOWHERE! These same people say that Jesus is their best friend. However, when asked how Jesus answers their questions they say that Jesus sends them to the Word! "Wow", I said. Now I can drive down the road and ask a perfect stranger which way to Glennallen and he will say, in the English language in sentence form, "35 miles north"! He would not say, "Here's a 2000 page book, look in there for your answer"! Now he is not even an acquaintance much less my best friend! Sooo, it looks like most church goers are not on speaking terms with their "best friend"!!
FOR A 36 PAGE IN-DEPTH STUDY, INCLUDING GREEK MANUSCRIPTS, REFUTING THE "ETERNAL HELL" THEORY, THAT WAS EDITED INTO THE NEW TESTAMENT AROUND THE 4th CENTURY FOR THE PURPOSE OF SCARING PEOPLE INTO THE PEWS AND CONTROLLING THEM, CLICK ON: http://www.kodakgallery.com/shramek AND OPEN UP THE ALBUM TITLED "NO HELL"! [less than 1% of the people are really seeking the truth - this web site is especially for them] INFINITE PUNISHMENT FOR FINITE MISTAKES IS LIKE GETTING THE ELECTRIC CHAIR FOR A PARKING VIOLATION!!
Most preachers go around scaring the hell out of everyone with their "Gospel of Peace"!! This is how it goes: YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT JESUS BEFORE YOU DIE. YOU MIGHT DIE ANY MOMENT SO YOU CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT'S REAL TO YOU BUT YOUR DECISION MUST BE GENUINE AND SINCERE OR IT DON'T COUNT AND YOU WILL BURN IN HELL FOREVER!! WOW! If this is their good news ["gospel" means good news] I'd hate to hear their bad news!! Gospel? In a pig's ear! At Alaska Bible College, back in the 70s, I was taught that, at best, 10% of the world's population are genuinely "born again"! So what they're teaching is that God, Who deeply desires ALL men to be saved and has the ability to "work in us both to will and to do His good pleasure" [Phil 2:13], with all of His omniscience and omnipotence, THOUGHT UP a plan FOREKNOWING it would be less than 10% effective!!! INCREDABLE! TRULY INCREDABLE!! An omniscient, omnipotent God, unable to fulfill His deepest desires and ending up the quantitative loser to some devil in some eternal hell? This concept is STUPID AT BEST!! The "eternal hell" concept was started by the Catholic priest Tertulian in North Africa around the 4th century and eagerly received by Saint Augustine in the west. It was EDITED INTO the Bible for the purpose of scaring people into the pews and controlling them! Even today the Greek words "Aion", "Aionion", "Gehennah", "Hades" and "Tartorus" are purposely mistranslated "eternal hell" [by all but the 4 most accurate translations: Rotherham, Young's Literal, Concordant Literal and Wilson's Emphatic Diaglott] so as not to upset traditional theology for the purpose of sales & profits!! In truth heaven & hell are states of consciousness that will last as long as we allow them to but that's another teaching. Simple reason & logic dictate that if an omniscient & omnipotent God, Who is "able to work in us both to will and to do His god pleasure", desires all men to be saved then, it's simple, all men will be saved! 2+2=4!! Duh! How He does it, whether through reincarnation, continuation of the growth process in the spirit world or however, is His business! [Reincarnation is a doctrine that was edited OUT of the New Testament during its compilation - after all you can't scare people into the pews if they know they will have more chances] Again, if our omniscient, omnipotent, awesome, Creator God desires all men to be saved you can bet your bippy ALL MEN WILL BE SAVED!! DOWN WITH BLIND TRUST! THINK PAST YOUR NOSE!!
BY THE WAY: Neither John Calvin nor Martin Luther thought that the book of Revelation was even inspired by God. Martin Luther also didn't think the books of Esther, Hebrews, Jude and James were inspired calling James "a worthless book of straw"! [Google search and see]
The New Testament was voted to be the Word of God by 325 Catholic bishops at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD under the coercion of the emperor Constantine. The first two books rejected [of the 150+] were written by the Apostle Paul! They were rejected because they were too Jewish [not because they were not inspired]! Fifteen more rejects were written by the SAME Apostles whose OTHER books WERE accepted and canonized! Were these Apostles all having "bad days" while writing these rejected books? No, not at all. The reason they were rejected was because they didn't say what the Emperor Constantine wanted them to say! Constantine did NOT call the 325 bishops to Nicea to compile a God inspired New Testament but, rather, to compile a book to represent his new official state religion - Christianity. [Constantine never embraced Christianity himself] One attempt to save his crumbling empire was to unify all of the various religions. He was much more concerned with CONTENT than INSPIRATION! Much editing IN and OUT took place BEFORE canonization. Revelation passed by only one vote after heavy and savage editing! Obviously inspiration was not a concern because even the five volume "Sayings of Jesus" were rejected. If Jesus can't speak inspired words who can?? These 5 volumes WERE considered inspired by Christian churches and HAD been read in the past for generations!! Now don't get me wrong - God has blessed the New Testament in spite of the impure motives behind its compilation. The point is that there are many other inspired Writings out there and that every book in the Bible might not even be inspired much less inerrant. 2 + 2 = 4! Blind trust IS NOT DEFINITIVE!!
Now, just before every sermon most preachers say a prayer asking God to anoint them and speak through them. Do you think ANY of these prayers have EVER been answered in the history of sermons? Now bear in mind that there are NO DEGREES of inspiration - it's either God speaking through a man or it's not. If God has EVER spoken through ANY preacher for ANY length of time then, for that length of time, whether 20 minutes or 20 seconds, that preacher was speaking inspired Words and any written recording of those Words would be as inspired as the Bible! 2 + 2 = 4! THINK!!
Also, when one is filled with, immersed in and totally [including his tongue] controlled by the Holy Spirit then, for that period of time, whether 20 minutes or 20 seconds, he IS THE VOICE OF GOD [what else could he possibly be?] and, again, any written recording of these Words is as inspired as the Bible. 2 + 2! REASON & LOGIC!
So, in conclusion, we can't be CERTAIN that EVERY book in the Bible is even inspired! Reason and logic dictates that there are probably many other inspired Words of God out there. Some were rejected during the impurely motivated compilation process and others are written recordings of God speaking through man either as an answer to prayer or through the filling of the Holy Spirit! Therefore, the final authority can not be found in a Bible "proof text" simply because we can not be certain that the text book, much less the text, is even inspired! There are over 900 different sects, schisms, divisions, denominations, offshoots and cults out there all having their Bible colleges & seminaries, all offering their various degrees, all claiming the truth is clear and simple in the Bible and all having different interpretations of this "final authority"!!!!! The final authority is the Witness of the Spirit! DO YOU KNOW THAT SPIRIT????
Flawless.......2007-10-19
This book is so utterly flawless. Recently I've been having the trouble of finding "faith" in the things that I thought. They just weren't quite turning into belief. This book has far exceeded in turning my thoughts into belief. They affirmed them in such a beautifully simplistic way that it brought me to tears. It has answered so many of my questions and I don't think by the end of this series that I'll have many left. It is the most flawless assortment of words in the English language I can possibly imagine. Please...buy this book.
Buy Individual Books in Order--Replaces Bible.......2007-10-16
I regret not paying better attention to the reviewer of the collected set (one book with three parts and no covers). Do buy the books individually for a more distributed appreciation.
This will sound like sacrilege to many, but in my view these three books in combination replace the Bible as the foundation work for the future of Humanity as God in Community on Earth. There is so much common sense in all three books that I am just blown away.
Although I am 10-15 years late in appreciating the cultural creatives, integral consciousness, one from many, I sense an imminent renaissance of humanity, aided by the amoral wickedness of Dick Cheney and those foolish enough to obey his unconstitutional orders. These three books are our manual for re-establishing Humanity in Community.
Book 1 introduces a God who loves us unconditionally, whom we can have faith in, and who does not need to bloated religious bureaucracies of fear-mongering, hate-mongering, sexually-inhibited priests, imams, and rabbis (some exceptions not withstanding).
The bottom line is this: you can live in fear or live in love--unconditional love. Fear is exclusive, love in inclusive.
Here are the notes I kept:
* Core values are truth, patience, open mind, open heart.
* Arts are inspiration and help spirituality grow and be shared
* Feelings are the language of the soul
* God is found in the highest thought, clearest word, grandest feeling
* Receive and embrace God directly, not via false intermediaries
* Knowing, experiencing, being
* Point of life is to remember the One and rewind back from fragmentation
* You, not God, determines outcomes--live the change you wish to see (Gandhi)
* We choose heaven or hell on earth
* Only by accepting responsibility for ALL poverty and other high-level threats to humanity can we resolve them.
* Judgment fragments and lessens community
* There are no coincidences
* You attract what you fear through emotions
* Choose love, end war--Humanity is losing patience (see Blessed Unrest)
* Sex with joy and sympathy is the ultimate form of love
* Money is the ultimate divider, irrelevant to achieving peace & prosperity
* Stop accepting "original sin" and start remembering you are one with God.
* Passion is in the doing
* Freedom is living life without expectations
* When you are so good you no longer need God, this is God's greatest moment.
* Religions that stress damnation are flat out WRONG. Not possible to offend God, whose love is unconditional.
* Priests and others are a major part of the schism of demanding religions.
* Purpose of relationships is to have another with whom you can share your completeness.
* Love is BEING, not fulfilling a NEED.
* God asks that you love yourself and always make the highest choice.
* Act before thinking; emphasize being, follow a calling in life.
* Gratitude in advance--reciprocal altruism, is the highest path.
* Worry can be fatal. Stop worrying.

An easy read that will get you to think..........2007-10-14
Perhaps it is time for Amazon to only let people comment on books if they have purchased them or can prove they actually read the book.
I'm willing to bet that anyone who gave this book less that 3 stars never read the book. It is a fascinating read. Many of us question the existence of God. This book gives you an alternative to the religious doctrines out there today and will get you thinking.
I loved his take on the Ten Commandments and Original Sin.
If God really gave us Ten Commandments is there any power in the universe, other than God that would give you the power to break them?
Original Sin was in fact one of God's greatest gifts it proved that mankind could think and act for themselves. All the animals on earth act out according to Gods laws... sharks swim and eat and reproduce. They aren't going to do anything their nature has not laid out for them since they first appeared on earth but man... Man will look around pick up a rock, smash it, stick it in a fire, turn it into a metal, shape it... and end up flying to the moon with.
This is a great read... I'd tell you the uplifting description of why God allows horrible natural disasters to take place but no... read the book... I'll give you a hint... it involves a play ground.
just a comment.......2007-10-14
I havent read this book yet or any of the books, but i've seen it on the bookshelves. my youth leader sent an email to the department this past week advising volunteers to ck it out and beware of what our children are reading. parents are livid because the book appears on the scholastic reading list. i've read over some of the reviews and there is no overwhelming consensus either way good or bad. i do not think i will purchase the book for the sake of principle, but i will however look for it in my public library. how else can we help our children if we do not know what they are up against. upon completion of this book, i will of course draw my own conclusions and perhaps post a review. until then, i consider myself a biased individual leaning toward the word as presented in the bible. anything outside of that i consider blasphemy. training, learning, growing is a constant without it we parish.
be nice on here people. dont shut others down simply because their opinion differs from yours. state your position and leave it at that. it's up to the individual reading the review if they agree with you and are intrigued to read or not to read.

In Conversations with God: Book II, Neale Walsch and God resume their discussion and move on to larger topics than the personal issues addressed in their previous dialogue in Volume 1. For an "unedited transcript" of a conversation, Book II is remarkably well organized and articulate, as if Walsch anticipatd our "but what about" questions before we asked them. The peculiar pair discuss time, space, politics, and even kinky sex, but Conversations with God: Book II isn't here for just shock value. It is an honest look at some of the broad issues important to all of us on the planet, and a suggestion of how things might go if we are all willing to open our minds and have our own conversations with divinity. --Brian Patterson

Buy the Individual Books--As a Set, Replace the Bible.......2007-10-16
See my review of Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1) for comments that apply to all three books. These books as a set replace the Bible as a foundation for Being with God as Community in Heaven on Earth.
Book 2 reiterates the common theme, forget religions, have faith, do love, BE the light.
Fastest way to find God is to find one another--ALL of us.
Fastest way to stop evil and hiding from evil is to tell the truth.
Seek, know, accept, praise, and embrace the truth at all times.
Humanity is ready for a new paradigm of communal belief in goodness. Everything we are experiencing today is an opportunity to remember and restore One from Many.
Religion is the opposite of spirituality.
Soul creates, mind reacts.
Energy at the root of everything.
USA in decline because religions have become falsely righteous and intolerant, divisive.
Lesson of Hitler: group consciousness that speaks of separation and superiority leads to a loss of compassion and virtual genocide.
LOTS of coverage of sex, almost a virtual manual for rediscovering the joy and love that should be the foundation for sex. Enjoy it, don't hide it, don't raise kids to be repressed about it.
Education is a mess, teaching knowledge (rote memorization of the past) instead of wisdom (learning to learn, learning to share). Teaching children WHAT to think instead of HOW to think.
Must teach three core concepts: Awareness, Honesty, Responsibility.
Rudolph Steiner and the Waldorf School are on the right track.
Need to achieve societal shift in consciousness--love, family, unity--at all levels from neighborhood to globe.
As of 1994, we are spending $1 trillion a year on war (while peace and prosperity for all would only cost $230 billion a year according to Medard Gabel and other authorities such as E. O. Wilson).
Eliminate money or make it completely transparent. Money is what allows hoarding, theft, and related evils such as corruption, all of which deprive the community and the commons of optimal stewardship. This resonates with the work of the Natural Capitalism Institute and the Open Money pioneers.

The Best Books I've Ever Read.......2007-10-04
I have read all 3 of the Conversations With God Trilogy and they have changed my life forever. I was raised as a southern Baptist Christian and was always scared of the whole God thing. After reading these books I know that God is a LOVING God and he does not judge and punish people. Written in plain easy to understand english these are a must for anyone on a spiritual journey.

Not as good as book 1, but still has some good questions........2007-06-25
I loved book one and went and bought book 2. The beginning was interesting, but I found myself skipping pages around the end. This book talks alot about politics which I found to be pretty boring. It is still and interesting book because of the questions it asks. I read reviews of people saying that these books are satanic. These books are not satanic. These books were not written for a religion, but for an open mind. I believe that satan is not peace, he is not about bringing the world closer to God, and satan is not about finding yourself. Its makes me sick how many Christians focus on Satan and give him so much credit. This is a good book that will allow you to think. And think for yourself.
Disappointing.......2007-06-09
The author seems to have run out of ideas for the second book rather hoping the success of book one would sell this one. I found him struggling in this one and only just managed to finish it.
Amazon.com
In keeping with the first two books in this trilogy, Conversations With God, Book 3 continues to clarify the muddy waters of our spiritual existence, but moves from individual and global issues to "universal truths," which apply to all levels of existence from the microscopic to the macrocosmic. It is difficult to criticize God, but if he is as pleasant as he presents himself in Walsch's books, then he won't mind the paltry mention of a structural problem. A hefty portion of Conversations With God, Book 3 backtracks to topics that were well covered in Book 1, and while a certain amount of recap is good to build on, Walsch's repeated return to these earlier conversations gets a bit frustrating for the reader who is familiar with the earlier books. Minor blemishes aside, Conversations With God, Book 3 explores some of the most fantastic subjects that people are prone to ponder under starry evening skies: What happens when we die? What is time? Are we alone in the universe? Walsch's dialogue with the creator puts these and other imponderables into comprehendible terms. If these revelations are true, and it is ultimately up to us to know them as truths or not, then the universe is a very intriguing place, and we haven't come close to realizing our potential in understanding it. However, the great thing Conversations With God, Book 3 makes clear is that we can understand the universe if we so choose. --Brian Patterson

See my reviews of Books 1 and 2 for the full context of this excellent work. The set replaces the Bible and other convoluted religious "rule sets" and anecdotes, with a single sensible dialog with God that all of us can achieve. Religions of hate and division are part of the problem and the opposite of spiritual communion of man, one with God in community.
Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1)
Conversations With God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 2)
Book 3 was harder for me, in part because it deals with the afterlife, rising from the dead, and psychic powers, while I am more focused on the practical challenge of eradicating the ten high-level threats to humanity in the next 20 years.
Still, plenty of food for thought here, and I will probably come back to Book 3 for a second reading at some point.
Key points:
Society that marginalizes the elderly is destined for collapse.
Young should bear children, but they should be raised and taught by the elders.
Highly evolved civilizations understand that sharing is the key to plentitude and peace, and that no actions are shameful, competition is divisive and harmful.
Paradigm IS shifting.
Two basic principles: 1) We are all one; 2) There is Enough for All.
The trinity of body (emotion), mind (logic), and spirit (intuition) is repeatedly stressed. I am constantly reminded by this book of Gandhi's phrase, "be the change you wish to see in the world."
More on sex, God is sex, sex is love, sex is sharing, sex is union.
Past 100 years has taken Humanity from the 6 yard line to the 12 yard line in relation to a notional 100-year field of possibilities.

Are You Listening?.......2007-05-18
This book series is a must read for all seekers of truth. But if you are not open minded, if you are not teachable then do not bother. You must admit to yourself that you may not actually know the truth in these matters. If you can do that then the seeds of truth may sprout and grow. If you dismiss this opportunity then you may very well miss your calling in this life. Time is short for those who wish to rise for the coming changes on Earth. Listen if you have ears!

Beautifully Inspirational Truths.......2007-04-08
Best book of the trilogy. I noticed that about 90% of the negative reviews are from Christians who tout the Bible as their source to discredit the inspirational truths in this book. The problem with trying to convince them that this book rings true on many points is like trying to teach a kindergartener calculus: They just won't get it until they are ready. Their egos seem to be so rigid at this point in their growth cycle they just can't let go. Eventually they will learn. So I have given up on trying to convince them that their path is not the only one. Someday, like I did, when they are ready they will learn.
Fundies Christians are the Anti Christ (if there was one) .......2007-03-23
I do not believe in the Anti Christ, but it is self-evident that evil is the stupidity and darkness on earth best represented in the western world by the fundie Bible thumping simpletons who think they actually have a mission by spreading their bigoted and narrow minded message to the more intelligent populous. If this sounds harsh it is because I cannot stand that self-righteous, ignorant bunch.
While CwG is not perfect nor it is complete I love the message (actually the truth) and despise the ignorant morons who say it is not right because it "contradicts the bible".
If you take the Bible word by word then what say you to the following passages?
Happy To Kill Children
"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." (Psalms 137:9, KJV)
"How blessed will be the one who seizes and dashes your little ones Against the rock." (Psalms 137:9, New American Bible)
"Happy the man who shall seize and smash your little ones against the rock!" (Psalms 137:9, New American Bible)
"a blessing on anyone who seizes your babies and shatters them against a rock!" (Psalms 137:9, Jerusalem Bible)
CWG #3.......2007-02-14
The best of the CWG books and the one most given away to others. It answers the question of is there other life out there and what is it like. Even if this was totally science fiction it would be worth the read. And I believe there is much to think on here based on my life's research as a scientist. You can't have to much information so this must be read if you seriously call yourself a seeker or quester.
Customer Reviews:
A REAL CONVERSATION? PERHAPS; BUT A GREAT READ!.......2007-10-15
Like most, I read this book out of curiosity. It's hard to believe that any one person can have a two-way conversation (interaction) with the Almighty. Nevertheless, I kept an open mind and suspended my doubts.
What I learned is that perhaps our Higher Power or G-d Force speaks directly to us through insight. I grew up believing in a witholding god; if we obey the rules and conform to religious standards and basically "be good," we will be rewarded. All well and good to encourage appropriate and moral behavior.
Many have strayed from their path of rightfulness and behaved badly at times. As a therapist, I've known many who can't let go of guilt and shame for what has been done -- especially when ammends can not be made for a variety of reasons.
We have learned to condemn ourselves to a living hell through our actions. What I get from this book is that there are consequences for our actions.
If you have a spiritual curiosity or are looking to view life and death from a newer perspective, definitly check this book out.
What IF.......2006-08-30
It seems to me that the people who have given this book a less than desireable review are the ones who are steeped heavily into the brainwashed religious diatribes of what religions have been pushing down their throats as the truth. What they forget is that the bible was written and re written and edited so many times over and over, that one can only believe that the end result is nothing more than what those religions want you to believe....which of course is for their own agenda.
After being a student of many books along these lines, it only comes to say that these people are "young souls" and are NOT ready for the next step. So you can only go by what they say, with that in mind. Eventually in some life time they will awaken.
This book is one of the best ones I have read, other than Sheppard Hoodwin's "The Journey of Your Soul." These two books together answer and explain any question that you may ever have. I belong to no organized religion, nor ever will be as I find that the "rules" that have been made up in them are just not believable at all.
Open your mind and really look inside these books. You will find a wealth of information beyond anything that you could ever hope for. A world so totally amazing it will boggle your mind.
Guidebook.......2006-02-24
It goes one more further step in the book of the Conversation with God (Book1). Very analytical and offers tips and guidance along CWG book1.
Hilarious.......2006-02-24
It's amazing what some people believe. This is basically
blasphemy. The author's definitely inspired from something,
but it's not God. And all of you so-called "ministers" that
are buying into this trash is mind-boggling.
When the Bible says in 2 Tim.3:16 that God's Word is inspired by God, God was saying through Paul that it is God-breathed, that these words are actually God's Words to us of the salvation story. NO ONE since the conclusion of the writing of the books of the New Testament are inspired by God in the same way. No one
can write or speak today without fallacy or error. Those writers of the Bible wrote what God said to write without error or contradiction. Those words are life-changing words as no other writings are. They are living words from God's mouth.
Christians beware............2006-02-22
If you are a Christian and believe in the Bible, then you need to stay away from this book. As the old adage goes, "You can't judge a book by its cover".
The author purports to answer various questions from kids using the "voice of God". However, the "answers" that he gives are not Bible-based and go against the very infallible word of God. For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl asks the question "Why am I a lesbian?" His answer is that she was born that way because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with blue eyes, etc.). Then he tells her to go out and "celebrate" her differences.
Another girls poses the question "I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?"
His reply is, "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong."
Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin. His reply "I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone, do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong, because the rule is "'judge not lest ye be judged.'"
And the list goes on. Not only are these books the false doctrine, but in some instances, it even quotes the Word of God in error.

Very enjoyable and worthy of listening to........2005-04-01
Heard and liked CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD, BOOK TWO by Neale Donald Walsch . . . whereas Book One dealt with personal matters, this dialogue takes on more political and global concerns . . . Edward Asner and Ellen Burstyn served as narrators, along with Walsch, and they certainly added to my enjoyment of the cassette program.
There were several memorable passages; among them:
You do not live each day to discover what it holds, but to create it.
"I am" is the strongest creative statement in the universe. Whatever you say after "I am" calls forth these expectations.
The point of life is to experience who and what you are, then to experience it.
Your life is always a result of your thoughts about it.
The purpose of a relationship is not to have another who might complete you, but to have another who might share your completeness.
If you cannot love yourself, you can't love others.
Ask: What would love do now?
book 1.......2001-12-17
this book is haven sent, ive all ways felt that god talks to everyone.and that no-one could have a relationship based on fear, and that anyone and everyone is special to god. i was soo happy to also be clairafied that there is no hell or saten, that god used as a scare tactic to force anyone to chose him.
This book told me everything I already knew in my soul........1999-10-28
Throught-out this entire book, I kept exclaiming," I knew that!" But it is always nice to read it from another source than my own inner source. It's nice to know that God communicates with all of us if we but listen. The information and concepts were more than insightful. A Must Read!
total absorbing and enlighting.......1998-06-24
This book does not tell you to worship god as much as you should worship yourself. It made me realize that there are many many things we have to learn about , life, ourselves and our relationship to one another

rosemarie-registrar at hospital and more importantly mom and wife .......2006-07-13
I have read all of Neale's books and now want them on Cd so I can listen to the god/goddess voices that are perfect and sound just as I imagine god/goddess to sound. I purchased book 1 on cd and now plan on getting the collection for my car trips to remind me of my truth and that I am never alone. These books have changed my life as well as my husbands.
Excellent, Awesome, Inspiring! Highly Recommendable To ALL!.......2003-03-23
This book is GREAT. In fact, the entire collection of CWG books are among the BEST ever written. The deep wisdom shared in these books coincide completely with the unspoken truth that has resided within my heart for as long as I can remember. As I read these words, my heart recognized the profound truth spoken in these books. Reading these books have caused my entire perspective of all of life to shift in an amazing way. I recommend the CWG books to all. Especially for those who are ready to remember the highest truths, see the light beyond the deceptions & false teachings of many organized religions & of our misinformed society & find the true MEANING in life -- The true meaning of "God".
A new theology and a very new, and better, ethical system.......2002-09-20
Although I am not inclined to believe in any supernatural realm, I read the three books in this series, in order. There is no doubt in my mind that the author is a very original thinker. If I were ever to believe in something supernatural, this would be it. However, the ethical sytem the author (or God, it doesn't matter) put forward is, to my knowledge, very new and very different from everything I knew. It is not easy reading; you need a very open mind to accept concepts such as "there is no right or wrong" or "God is not a vengeful god that punishes with eternal torments" I had to read several chapters more than once, and I can say this. Whether you go along with everything in the theology or not, I for one fully embraced the ethical system. It is to my thinking much more advanced, more "human", and likely to lead to much more happiness than anything I knew previously. Our world would be an immensely better place if this were the prevalent ethics. I read that the book has been translated to 26 languages and has touched the lives of millions all over the world. It sure touched mine! I strongly recommend that you challenge yourself to read the three books, and not reject anything off hand. Read the paragraphs you feel to be more "shocking" more than once and give the subject a lot of thought. After the third book, you will have found many concepts revisited more than once, and the whole picture will impress you as very consistent and well rounded. You might feel that not only you acquired new and important concepts, but also that your whole world outlook was changed. In short, your life may have been touched too.

About James Dobson.......2005-10-13
I Lived in Colorado Springs just down the road from focas on the family for several years and the review I read about what James Dobson was saying struck me as funny. This man claims to be a godly and rightgious man hiself yet he is only in this for the money as well. You go into the gift shop at focas on the family and when you go to purchase anything in there on it, it says donation price is.... So that Mr Dobson does not have to pay taxes on it. So Who is the hipocrite here????? I do not know if this book is true or not but I would like to keep an open mind. None of us in this world knows the truth that lies out there the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and others is pure love and I think that is what is trying to be said in this book. There is no wrong or right way there is just faith and the ultimate to except everyone and everything and to obtaine that higher level and to love one another unconditionally......
Finally.......2005-06-19
I grew up in the church, l was bombarded with the bible and its endless threats of sin and hell. Finally through the Conversations of God books I have discovered a God that loves us all. Would you torture the ones you love for making mistakes? God is love. More love than you could ever understand. I am thankful to have found the truth, Finally! Thank you God.
Beware of this misleading book, warned from my friends email.......2003-01-14
Beware of "Conversations with God" books
Conversations with God
Dr. James Dobson talked about this book twice this
week. It is devastating and parents and Christian
schools need to be aware of this. Do pass it on to
your pastor/church/e-mail addressees. Parents Beware
very disturbing information. Please read. Parents,
Grand parents, Aunts, Uncles, Please pay special
attention not only to the what your kids watch on TV
and in movie theaters and the music they listen to
but we must also be alert regarding the books they
read... Two particular books, Conversations with God
and Conversations with God for Teens, written by
Neil D Walsh. sound harmless enough by their titles
alone.
These books have been on the New York Times best
sellers list for a number of weeks; these
publications makes truth of the statement "Don't
judge a book by its cover/title". The author
purports to answer various questions from kids using
the "voice of God"
However, the "answers" that he gives are not
biblically-based and go against the very infallible
word of God.
For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl asks
the question "why am I a lesbian?" His answer is
that she was born that way because of genetics (just
as you were born right-handed, with blue eyes,
etc.). Then, he tells her to go out and "celebrate"
her differences. Another girls poses the question "I
am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I
should marry him because I am living in sin. Should
I marry him?" His reply is "Who are you sinning
against? Not me, because you have done nothing
wrong.
Another question asks about God's forgiveness of
sin. His reply - I do not forgive anyone because
there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing
as right or wrong and that is what I have been
trying to tell everyone; do not judge people. People
have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong
because the rule is "judge not lest ye be judged".
And the list goes on. Not only are these books the
false doctrine of devils, but in some instances even
quote (in error) the Word of God. . These books (and
others like it) are being sold to school children
(The Scholastic Book Club) and we need to be aware
of what is being fed to our children. Our Children.
Our children are under attack. So I pray that you be
sober and vigilant about teaching your kids the Word
of God and guarding their exposure to worldly
mediums, because our adversary, the devil, roams
about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour
(1 Peter 5:8). And how many of us know that lions
usually hunt for the slowest, and weakest and
YOUNGEST
OF ITS PREY?
Pass this on to every believer you know. God BLESS!
PLEASE, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS "god"!.......2002-07-10
Donýt waste you hard earned money! This book is utter nonsense written to swindle and mislead the weak-minded.
The "god" of this book is simply THE RHETORIC OF EASTERN MYSTICISM, which is ironic since that particular ýgodý is an impersonal force that could not communicate with anyone. The whole concept of this book is as idiotic as saying you could have a conversation with electricity.
The oxymoron of ýABSOLUTE RELATIVISMý is strongly preached throughout the book. There is no separation of right and wrong or good and evil. THE AUTHOR EXPECTS US TO PARK OUR BRAINS IN NEUTRAL and accept that the most wicked mass murders, serial rapists, and hate breathing racists are only ýbadý because we ýthinký they are bad, not because they really are evil. This ýgodý would have us believe that there is no difference between a Mother Teresa and an Adolph Hitler.
In an ever increasing age of moral relativism, which is a large reason for much of the current financial market woes, HELLO, it never ceases to amaze me the depths to which publishing companies will stoop to print any trash that can make a buck for them.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK, AS IT WONýT TELL YOU A THING ABOUT THE TRUE, PERSONAL CREATOR WHO LOVES YOU!
Gods will not mine.......2002-03-01
I felt like this book was written for me. It was all i needed to know at the time. I realized that following Gods will was not done without courage and belief. I fell almost reborn it sounds remarkable but it is true. I came up with an excerise to help me remember Gods will and i remind myself everyday. Your in a room tied to a chair and a person comes in with a gun and holds it to your head and ask you one question,which you can only answer yes or no. Do you believe in God? Something to think about. Passages from the book that relates to this;
"Mine is always your highest thought, your clearest word, your grandest feeling. Anything less is from another source"God Bless!

Book Description
At a low point in life, Neale Donald Walsch wrote God a letter venting his frustrations. After he finished, he continued writing and out came the answers to his questions! Here the author reads his questions, and two noted actors contribute spirited performances as the voice of God.
Customer Reviews:
This is my favorite book!.......2002-03-13
I have been through Book One several times (I have both the book and the CD collection). More than any book I have ever read, this work provides answers to a multiplicity of difficult questions. I view myself as functioning at a higher level ever since first reading the series three years ago. I had an opportunity to ask Deepak Chopra, live on PBS, his opinion of this book; his answer: "Truly channeled directly from God!" The quality of the CD set is excellent. The choice of Ed Asner and Ellen Burstyn was inspired (Ellen never ceases to amaze). This set is a good investment since many people are likely to want to hear the entire book repeatedly!
This book has changed my outlook on life.......2001-04-02
This book answers many of the questions few people know the answer to after an entire lifetime of search and devotion to spiritual life. There is no doubt in my mind that the words spoken through Neal Donald Walsh are Truth.
A Contemplation About "Conversations.".......2000-05-03
This is a masterpiece in modern thinking! As I listened to this book I finally realized that I was not the only person who found the little faults in human thinking and behavior, organized religion and government. The philosophies put forth in this book reflect exactly the philosophies of the common person but with one difference...the common person can feel it and act upon it but Mr. Walsch puts it into words for the first time. I have recommended this book time and time again to others and every time I get the same response...I thought I was the only one! I recommend this book highly to anyone who has an interest in living a correct life and has questions that you instinctivly know the answer to but want some kind of confirmation. Good reading!
A REVISION OF THE BIBLE?...NOW I BELIEVE!!.......1997-12-12
Many people consider me silly for actually reading this book. They tell me it's ridiculous for God to write such things. The truth is that I do the things I do because God lets me know it's alright. My religion with God is my consciense. Through my consciense God lets me know what's right and what's wrong. This book has definitely confirmed to me that God is always my friend, not an enemy who's waiting for me to make a mistake so he could send me to hell (most of the people I know believe this). Your relationship with God is like a friend's. You have to be loyal, understanding and always listen to their thoughts and concerns. I cried when I read this book. I felt a bond I just couldn't explain. God was funny all the way. I knew God was cool! Personally, I don't believe in the Bible, but I would sure consider this book mine! The Bible seems so unrealistic since it was written centuries ago. The whole reencarnation issue was great. Also the fact that everybody is a psychic is true too. I've made revelations in my life before and that's because I love myself enough to care about my well being and what's right for me.

This is right up there.......2001-05-26
Great books have a ring of truth to them. As you read, you can feel the truth resonating in your soul. Neale does a superb job of letting Spirit flow thru him into our hearts and minds. If you haven't read any of the CWG books, I recommend that you give them a chance. As to which, I have trouble distinguishing. It's like asking me which was my favorite time connecting with someone I love.
The most dramatic and significant thing in my life........1999-12-29
I have been on several journies in my lifetime, most of them have been bitter experiences. I have been asking questions about my existence and reasons for being in this universe. I have questioned the authority of the church and christianity in my life and the lives of others.
I am an African, and I have witnessed different spiritual powers and and different ways of worshipping and interacting with God. I have spoken with the dead aand it is for real!
Finally, I was in a bookstore in Holland ono faithful afternoon, very depressed and asking God why I have to go through so much hardship in my life, when I accidentally stumbled onto this great book. It has really changed my life. I believe that something propelled me towards this book. I believe that God has finally aanswered my call. I also believe that I deserve to have this great revealation because I have chosen to know the truth. However, I have finally realised that religion is jusst a vehicle used by people to gratify there selfish needs. I have since been living in peace.
This book will keep gravitating to those who are ready for it and no church nor authority in this universe can stop the intensity the message is radiating all over the world.
I choose to wish the messages in these books for my fellow travelers and may your lights continue to shine O Illuminatis!
the book is excellent. Walsch captures the essence of truth.......1998-11-02
in reading the first book of conversations with God it brought the realization to my inner self that we do have freedom of choice and why would God interfere with that choice. The book was so simple in the writings and yet right to the point. It reveals all the questions that people do have. It opens up our thoughts to realize that other persons experiences are given to us and if we do not do it their way than we are wrong. The book was right when it said that there is no right and there is no wrong who are we to judge others. Very good conversation, the truth is the truth and I am looking forward to reading the other books that have come out. Someone gave me this book as a gift to me and what a gift it has been.
this god reflects the bias of the author's unconscious.......1998-03-05
Though Walsch no doubt believes he had conversations with God, a much simpler explanation is that he had an unusual experience of getting in touch with his unconscious. Some would say that this is the same thing, since either A) the the unconscience is God, or B) God speaks to us primarily through the unconscious, anyway. Walsch tries to give us the impression that these conversatons are with THE God, the Universal God, of everything. But, it appears that the god that Mr Walsch is talking to is a highly personal one, with ready answers to the deep personal travails that he is having, and, if it's his unconscience, has a complete memory of his total life's experiences. The god of a more educated person will by necessity have a wider variety of experiences to draw on,and these will be reflected in the god's answers. For instance, Walsch's god, in trying to express his trinity, compares it to the id, the ego, and the super-id of psychology and again later, the body, the mind, and the spirit. Then he says this is equivalent to energy, matter, and anti-matter of the scientists. This reflects a naivete' of both sciences. Physics and Psychology would have alot to say about this speculation, were they inclined to so indulge. I think, perhaps space, time, and matter mght be a better trilogy, where matter consists of both mass and energy, and where space and time are just two different aspects of the ame continuum. But, matter and anti-matter are not so different, and make a lousy illustration of the point. Are we to believe that a universal God would give us a lousy illustration? No, but I think the example is sufficient for Walsch, so his god offers it match his level of understanding. This god says that he has divided himself in order to experience himself discovering himself, and that therefore, our ultimate quest is to discover Who We Are. This sounds good, and comes in part from Eastern religeons, but one wonders if the dynosaurs were also doing this self-discovery? Was evolution strictly designed to lead to humans, or were the dynos searching their souls for a couple of hundred millon years? Was there a dyno Moses who said that dynosaurs were made in the image and likeness of God? Maybe there was also a dyno Neale D Walsch telling them to find out Who You Are. And, when the experiment was all over, the total unconscious of all the dynosaurs brought on the fatal comet. More questions and comments to come.
Amazing.......1998-02-16
I was given this book by a stranger. Someone I met one night. It has been the most amazing gift. "it was meant to be" The message in this book changed my life, I in turn gifted it to a friend of mine who was anxiously waiting to buy it, she told me, "Thank you, you have made my weekend". I responded "this book will make your life". I would like to respond to all of those individuals who have harsh negative comments on this book. You are entitled to your own opinion and that opinion is based on your own perception of things. However, the message is very clear. If you do not see the message that is gifted to you via this book, you are at a different stage in your path, You are probably not ready now.

Customer Reviews:
This book totally changed my life & has all the answers!.......1998-10-22
There are many people out there that want answers and are not finding them in their church. Many believe that God wants us to worship him every single day and live in our churches. I know of someone that is neglecting their family because the people of the church are his family now!
Confirms all I've "re-membered" in 62 years........1997-10-01
This book opened my life. I recognized Who had been talking to me all these years. I had thought it was the wind, the clouds, the rain, my imagination. And it was. I knew all along and it made me cry. On my seventh reading now I still cry, and of course, smile. I will read this book forever. Thank God Mr. Walsch wrote it down so I don't have to.
