I have several different resources I'm using to study for my life insurance test and what I was looking for was a book that could give me a feel for the insurance business as a producer and one who really likes helping people. This book does that and more and makes you understand what a great field this is and how you can make peoples lives better by providing this service. You have to go for it and this book can help you for sure. Great book!

It coverd the same stuff as my course material, but in some cases it was easier to understand and it had additional test questions included to help me study. I passed the test the first time.

In regard to "Exam Cram, Life and Health" I would recommend this book to my adult children if they want to pass the California exam. In addition to being a great test preparation book, I was able to get my computer to read the book to me, by using Adobe and Microsoft text-to-speech programming, which is free to the general public. This book was much better than the text provided by the school. It even includes information needed to open my own business.

The first time I took the CCM exam I failed by a couple of points. I bought this study guide because it covered a lot of the questions on the exam. The guide included a lot of hospital case manager issues that I was not familiar with as well as payor sources. I am convinced this study guide helped me to pass the exam the 2nd time around.

Highly recommend. The format is easy and test questions are at the end of each chapter as well as an explanation as to WHY this is the correct answer. In addition, there was a CD of over 600 questions of test questions including in my edition that is extremely valuable to reinforce your knowledge base. Easy to read and understand.

This book is great! Truly, Mr. DeLeo is a master on the subject. I picked this up on a reccomendation from a friend and couldnt put it down! I especially loved the briefing on the "circle-square effect". Never before have I been so titilated by a the law in all its glory. Mr. DeLeo takes what would otherwise be a bland subject and breathes life into it in a manner that is like unto a gripping thriller similar to any good John Grisham novel! Be sure to pick this today! I bought 3 more copies for my friends and we are all now excitedly awaiting the sequel! Congrats on a job well done!

Readers can expect a well-crafted discussion that emphasizes the core attitudes and visions of leadership. Maxwell uses the same tell-it-like-it-is approach that he honed in the bestselling Developing the Leader Within You. For instance, when explaining "The Law of Influence," Maxwell states that "job titles don't have much value when it comes to leading. True leadership cannot be awarded, appointed or assigned. It comes only from influence and that can't be mandated." John Maxwell is the world's best writer and speaker on leadership. I've seen him speak several times and read most of his boos. This workbook is a great companion book to his award winning book of the same name. I've recommended The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership to almost every one of my mentor clients and if you are a leader, or if you have an interest in becoming a great leader, this is the place to start.
