Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Has history been tampered with?.......2007-10-23
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RAZQNMXM4M9CL Has history been tampered with? Yes, it has! Did events and eras such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Roman Empire , the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance, actually occur within a very different chronology from what we've been told? Yes, they certainly did!
The history of humankind is both drastically shorter and dramatically different than generally presumed.
Why is it so? On one hand, it was usual custom to justify the claims to title and land by age and ancestry, and on the other the court historians knew only too well how to please their masters. The so called universal classic world history is a pack of intricate lies for all events prior to the 16th century. World history as we learn it today was entirely fabricated in the 16th-18th centuries. It's likely that nobody told you before, but
there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artefact that is reliably and independently dated prior to the 11th century.
Naturally, after what you've learned in school and university, you will not easily believe that the classical history of ancient Rome, Greece, Asia, Egypt, China, Japan, India, etc., is manifestly false.
You will point accusing finger to the pyramids in Egypt, to the Coliseum in Rome and Great Wall of China etc., and claim, aren't they really ancient, thousands of years ancient? Well, there is no valid scientific proof that they are older than 1000 years!
The oldest original written document that can be reliably dated belongs to the 11th century!
New research asserts that Homo sapiens invented writing (including hieroglyphics) only 1000 years ago. Once invented, writing skills were immediately and irreversibly put to the use of ruling powers and science.
The consensual chronology we live with was essentially crafted in the 16th century by the Jesuits.
The world history was compiled from contradictory mix of innumerable copies of ancient Latin and Greek manuscripts and other irrefutable proofs delivered by late mediaeval astronomers that were cemented by the authority of writings of the Church Fathers.
Early in life, we learn about ancient history. Children love the magical lessons of history - they are like fairy tales. Teachers recite breathtaking stories; very soon We learn by heart the names and deeds of brave warriors, wise philosophers, fabulous pharaohs, cunning high priests and greedy scribes.
We learn of gigantic pyramids and sinister castles, kings and queens, dukes and barons, powerful heroes and beautiful ladies, emaciated saints and low-life traitors.
Ancient history is based documents, manuscripts, printed books, paintings, monuments and artefacts - called primary sources.
The problem is that neither these ancient documents, nor events described therein can be irrefutably dated, moreover they contradict each other for the most part.
When a school textbook tells us that Genghis Khan in year X or Alexander in year Y, have each conquered half of the world, it means only that it is so said in some of the written sources.
There are no answers to simple questions:
When were these primary sources written?
Where and by whom were these sources found?
It is wrongly presumed that ancient and medieval chronicles, written by Genghis Khan's or Alexander the Great contemporaries and eyewitnesses, are readily available. Actually, only sources written hundreds or even thousands of years after the events are there, compiled mostly in the 16th 18th centuries, or even later.
As a rule, these sources suffered considerable multiple manipulations, falsifications and distortions by editing. At the same time,
innumerable originals of ancient documents under various pretexts were destroyed in Europe under various pretexts.
The names of persons and geographical sites often changed meaning and location during the course of the centuries.
Geographical locations became clearly defined on maps only with the advent of printing.
This made possible the circulation of identical copies of the same map for purposes of the military, navigation, education and governance tasks.
Historians from Oxford say: "hey, everybody knows that Julius Caesar lived in the first century B.C.
`Julius Caesar' statement is only a point of view as
there is simply no irrefutable documentary proof that Julius Caesar or any other great name of antiquity ever existed.
Better than that - extremely rare sources that can be reliably dated back to the 10th-14th centuries A D, do not show the polished picture of classical history.
They show a picture both contradictory and confusing.
All methods of dating of ancient sources and artefacts are erroneous:
Radio-carbon C14 method produces dating with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of events in historical timeframe!
The Almagest tractate, which lies as corner stone contemporary chronology, compiled in the 2nd century A D by Ptolemy, the founding father of astronomy, contains astronomical data of 9th to 16th century!
The Bronze Age,that has supposedly began 5000 years ago. Bronze is made of 90% copper and 10% tin, but the technology for tin extraction dates back to 14th century A D!.
All eclipses contained in manuscripts, like Thucydides one, relating 'ancient' events have exclusively medieval dating. All horoscopes cut in stone or painted in Egyptian temples, like Dendera have exclusively early medieval dating solutions.
Not quite what you have learned in school? Open your eyes, and, you will find sufficient proof to reach step by step the inevitable conclusion that the classical chronology is false and therefore, that the history of ancient and medieval world universally accepted today, is also false. Have a fresh outlook on everything said or printed about "ancient" and "enigmatic" Roman, Greek and Egyptian, medieval as well as all other "lost and found" civilizations.
Antiquity and Dark Ages are phantoms invented in the 16th 18th and polished in 19th 20thcenturies. Human civilization is in fact barely 1000 years old!
This book will change your perception of History forever!
What if Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt were invented during Renaissance?
What if The Old Testament was a rendition of events of the Middle Ages?
What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 and crucified in 1086 AD?
Sounds Unbelievable?
Not after you've read "History: Fiction or Science?" by Anatoly Fomenko, the genius mathematician.
Armed with astronomy and computers Anatoly Fomenko turns History into a rocket science.
Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.
Customer Reviews:
Among my first batch of books...with greatest influence on attaining personal achievement in life!.......2006-07-21
The first batch of significant books that had the greatest influence on me in terms of attaining personal achievement includes mostly Napoleon Hill's books:
- The Law of Success;
- Think & Grow Rich;
- The Keys to Success;
- Success through a Positive Mental Attitude;
- Succeed & Grow Rich through Persuasion;
The others were from Clement Stone, Dale Carnegie, & Earl Nightingale.
That was the early 70's when I had just started work as a young engineer.
The author, Napoleon Hill, had impressed me most by his relentless dedication in spending some two to three decades of his life in pursuing & researching the success secrets of the rich & famous...with a little help from Andrew Carnegie, of course.
As matter of fact, many of the famous people he interviewed were also favourite role models of mine e.g. Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, just to name a few
Till this day, I have never forgotten what he said:
"The most powerful instrument we have in our hands is the power of our mind."
I have never ceased to be fascinated by the simplicity & the potency of his ABCs of personal achievement: CONCEIVE, BELIEVE & ACHIEVE!
It is certainly enlightening to note that even Stephen Covey had drew inspiration from Napoleon Hill's work even though he never made that credit. He only admitted that the 7 Habits had its origins from "200 years of success literature in the United States." That remark itself is self explanatory.
Anthony Robbin's Mastery program as embodied in his books as well as his audio/video resources is no exception, even though he has been influenced in larger extent by NLP.
If you look at & compare the 17 principles of personal achievement in 'The Law of Success' &/or the 13 Steps to Riches in 'Think & Grow Rich', one can obviously see the uncanny resemblance of the 7 Habits & the Mastery principles...in one way or another.
At this juncture, let me outline the principal theme of each book:
The Law of Success: the original course on the fundamentals of success - all the seventeen essential principles of personal achievement;
Think & Grow Rich: The seventeen essential principles are reframed & condensed in terms of thirteen concrete steps to wealth creation (in actuality, this is a condensation of the Law of Success);
The Keys to Success: a further elaboration of the seventeen essential principles with concrete suggestions, exercises & advice;
Success Through Positive Mental Attitude: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing a positive mental attitude;
Succeed & Grow Rich Through Persuasion: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing master salesmanship & networking;
[It is pertinent to note that Clement Stone actually built his insurance business empire with these principles.]
My most productive, personal learning experience from Napoleon Hill's work is the understanding - application - of his success principle #1: Develop Definiteness of Purpose.
[Very surprisingly, J Y Pillay, former Chairman of Singapore Airlines, - who had been credited for building the airline to what it is today, A GREAT WAY TO FLY! - also credited his work axiom to this same success principle, but he attributed it to an ancient Hindu scripture known as Bhagavad Gita.]
I am certainly gratified to note that Napoleon Hill's work had casted so much influence on - & empowered - so many people in the world, including myself.
PMA or PMS...I mean NMA.......2006-05-11
postive mental attitude...I liked this book, when i was getting down on myself i found that reading this book lifted my spirits somewhat. I just didnt like the printing and size of the book. Other than that...the material was pretty good. buy it used...
Million Dollar Ideas $$$.......2006-04-27
I've read Think and GRow Rich at least 20 times, and now Read this one at least 2times going on Three now..I received Spiritual blessings because of these principles that cannot be measured in money or material things.. only in the eternal. Now I am being prepared for My wealth, My Million dollar ideas to manifest into reality. I am now practicing these principles daily and look forward to the physical manifestation which has been prophesied by prophets, preachers, and people who don't even know me..The seed was planted years ago now What has been sowed is being reaped. Wealth is circulating in my life, this wealth flows to me in avalanches of abundance. All my needs, desires, and goals are met instantaneously.
Carl Ray Marshall
Clear the cobwebs from your thinking. Great endorsement from Robert Schuller!.......2005-10-01
Having already read Think & Grow Rich, I didn't think that there was anything more that I could learn about PMA. I figured that this would be more of the save only on a different cover. Boy was I surprised!
W.Clement Stone and Napolean Hill joined forces for this text. W. Clement Stone used the principles in Think & Grow Rich to amass a personal and self made fortune in excess of $400,000,000
when that was worth $400,000,000.
I found chapter 2 particularly interesting. How Robert Christopher was able to travel around the world in 84 days with only $80 merely as a result of setting it as a goal, conceiving, believing and then achieving it is impressive.
Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude is divided into five parts, 19 chapters and over 300 pages. It's a fun, easy read and provides powerful strategies i.e. pilots to succeed.
In 1990, I met a very successful businessman who told me he went from unemployment living in Tampa, Fl to over $2.5 million and moved to Hawaii where he bought a boat and retired in only 18 months using these principles along with the right opportunity.
Evel Knievel's mentor wrote this book.......2005-07-12
This is the book written by one of Evel Knievel's first bosses. The book influenced Knievel to set out on his famous motorcycle stunt riding career which ultimately made him an international household name and millionaire.

Great Value for anyone looking for inspiration.......2007-05-28
I had only recently been introduced to Dr. Dyer's material. I find what Dr. dyer has to say very uplifting without sounding preachy or what my friend calls, 'airy-fairy'. He uses examples from Walden, Thoreau, and other great thinkers/visionaries. He messages are light and easy to listen to in the car or even while you are trying to meditate.
This particular set is a real bargain. I don't feel like I need to purchase any of Dr. Dyer's other CDs since this set comes with 4 of his "classic" recordings. I highly recommend it.

I now own 8 CD's by Wayne Dyer and listen to them over and over again. This set is the best one yet! It has in my opinion, the best 4 CD's that Wayne Dyer has ever made. I wish that I had read it sooner.......2007-06-07
I was in Borders when I stumbled along this book and thought " What a clever title and concept." As a twenty something professional in higher education that deals with early twenty something women on a regular basis, I highly recommend this book. It is a quick read but able to be put down and picked back up easily. There were times when I shook my head in agreement and laughed aloud hysterically.
It's still a pretty wonderful lie.......2007-02-19
At 20 years old, I am already plagued by those life altering questions such as: where is my artsy boyfriend/why do I not have a loft downtown decorated solely in Italian furniture/is there some logical explanation why there is not a midnight blue Range Rover in my driveway? Self-absorbed and delusional? Yes. Precisely why this collection of essays is for me. Overall the essays where clever and interesting, although they were all written by successful female "chick-lit" authors, and we know their lives turned out just fine, but what about the other struggling cocktail-waitress twenty-somethings out there that now live in a trailer park and are married to a guy named Bubba?
Best Book I've Ever Read.......2007-02-02
To be honest, your 20's SUCK. Getting out of college sucks. Looking for a career sucks. Making adult friends sucks. And finding your place in the world sucks.
Before I read this book, everyone made me feel like it just sucked for me. But now I know it doesn't. It sucks for everyone. And this book proves it.
This book made me cry and laugh. It's comforting to know that there are other people who have dealt with situations and feelings identical to what I am going through now. It is also comforting to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
This book is the best therapy a girl (or a guy) could ask for. Anyone going through a quarterlife crisis or even just feeling slightly tormented should read this book cover to cover. I promise it'll talk you back from the ledge and I promise you'll feel better afterwards.
Worth the read, especially if you're currently enduring your twenties .......2007-01-21
This collection is brilliant. I've been experiencing a bit of angst lately and have been beating myself up over it, constantly telling myself, "I'm in my mid-twenties and shouldn't be thinking like this any more; it's time to grow up!" I feel better to know that I'm not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
The authors in this collection are strong, funny, intelligent women. They're the kind of woman that I believe myself to be (on my better days) and aspire to become (on my slightly-more-discouraged days). There were a couple of stories that slowed the pace a bit for me (I don't have the book at hand and don't recall the titles), but all in all, this book made me feel better about life in general, and this decade particularly.
As the oldest of four, I've not known what it was like to sit down and receive encouragement from an older sister. Now I do!

Can a woman's version of The Prince actually work?
There's a sidelong sensibility at work in this post-feminist analog to the Renaissance's great work of strategy. Harriet Rubin urges women to triumph by turning their enemies into allies and their fear into power; by enlarging their sphere rather than defending it; and by learning to best instead of win.
But there's a delicate wryness to the art of balancing tensions to one's advantage. One of the most telling examples is that of Sun Tzu, who bet the emperor he could turn the twelve royal concubines into fierce warriors, but was bested by the concubines, who simply giggled when he barked orders at them. Modern women may find interpreting this a challenge, but an entertaining one.
Book Description
A legacy of leadership for women only.
For centuries men have used the lessons of Machiavelli's The Prince to gain and hold power. Today's women, struggling to succeed in a man's world, must learn a crucial lesson of their own: men and women are not equal--and that is a woman's greatest strength. From the wars of intimacy to battles of public life, whether confronting bosses, competitors, or lovers, the greatest power belongs to the woman who dares to use the subtle weapons that are hers alone.
This provocative work urges women to claim what they want and deserve, offering a bold new battle plan that celebrates a woman's unique gifts: passion and intuition, sensitivity and cunning. It draws from history's legendary female divas and poets, saints and sinners, artists and activists--who, armed with a desire for justice and a spirit of outrageousness, achieved their impossible dreams. Their lasting legacy is codified in The Princessa: act like a woman, fight like a woman, and life will be yours to command.

Too many words, not enough examples.
As a young female engineer, I was hoping to hear detailed suggestions on how to stay feminine, yet command attention and respect from older male coworkers. Instead, she seemed to ramble and repeat herself a lot.
Hidden truths revealed.......2007-07-05
For me, I had read Machiavelli and was shocked yet awakened to the ruthless mind. In the Princessa, which I read in '99, the most important and useful truth for me was the statement: "One act reveals the enemy's entire strategy". This is something I have experimented with over and over and have found it to be true in evaluating people's and company's motives. If a book can teach me an important lesson that stays with me for years, it's worth reading.
The Princessa.......2006-09-13
This book is a must have for every woman, this book validated for me how I view life and the people in it. I thought I was crazy alway's imagining myself as a general going into battle, I realize now I was and will alway's be a Princessa. although Mrs Rubin took too long time to get to the meat of this issue, this book is a must have for every woman.
Mostly Common Sense.......2006-05-30
My book club read this book and were very impressed with it. In this day and age of everything moving so quickly it is easy to get caught up and not see what is happening around you at work and in everyday life. We were amazed to see how we had each had an opportunity to apply some strategy or another shortly after reading it! It is in my desk for whenever I need to sharpen my senses. As I was reading it a situation came up with my insurance company had I not read this I would have been bullied into what they wanted rather than seeing the manipulation coming and deflecting it as the book enabled me to do. A definite keeper!

Book Description
Why do women stabilize our societies? Why can we enjoy and understand Shakespeare? Why are fruitflies uniform? Why do omnivorous eating habits aid our survival? Why is Mona Lisa’s smile beautiful? – Is there any answer to these questions? This book shows that the statement: "weak links stabilize complex systems" holds the answers to all of the surprising questions above. The author (recipient of several distinguished science communication prizes) uses weak (low affinity, low probability) interactions as a thread to introduce a vast variety of networks from proteins to ecosystems. Many people, from Nobel Laureates to high-school students have helped to make the book understandable to all interested readers. This unique book and the ideas it develops will have a significant impact on many, seemingly diverse, fields of study.

Primer on real-life networks with a theme .......2007-02-02
If you ever needed another good reason to value your grandmother even more, you'll find the answer in "Weak links".
Structurally, his book starts with an exposition on network theory and
terminology, then the application and discussion of these concepts to
real-life complex systems on many scales and applied to many domains (physical, natural, technological, social). His main point is, as the reviewer noted above, that 'weak' links (weak: additional/removal does not statistically affect the average of some metric) stabilize systems.
The book has thorough footnotes, one can delve as deep as one would like
into the professional papers. In addition, Csermely is an honest scholar - he shows his hands when there is mere speculation (you have to see the book's unique pictograms to appreciate the effects)
After pouring through several alternatives, I have adopted this book as a
textbook for my Science of Networks class (I'm CS fac at an elite US liberal arts school), and I recommend it to anyone without hesitation for a readable, and learned exposition.
I only have two or three caveats from a specialist's point of view: The
phenomenological discovery of power laws in complex systems is not unusual
and may not be evidence of any SF properties. Scale-free is an abused
term, and I wish the controversy about it were explained a bit more. Also, from a modelling point of view, I wish Doyle and Carlson's work on HOT systems were discussed in more depth.
But these are minor points, relatively speaking. This is a gem of a book:
erudite, humane, funny, accessible and thoroughly fascinating. On every
page, there are delights that lead down new intellectual paths.
Csermely did a great service to pedagogy and to this budding science with
this magisterial survey. Outstanding in its ease of access for intelligent
undergraduates and commendable for intellectual honesty - I wish more
books (textbooks and otherwise) were written this way.
Weak Links Stabilize Complex Systems.......2006-05-13
It is an intriguing concept.
Weak links, invisible in many networks, are critical to its stability. In this book, Peter Csermely shows that all networks, from the universe to molecules are governed by the same principles. Regardless of the system -- atoms, cells, companies, web pages or countries -- surprisingly, the weak links stabilize each.
Csermely, a professor at Semmelweis University in Budapest, a former Fogarty Fellow at Harvard University, is a molecular chaperones specialist. In 2003, he became fascinated by the concept of affinity -- a network's stabilizing components of must have weak links to the other components. These weak links act as hubs. Attack the hubs; disrupt the network.
Csermely demonstrates the concept hold true in field after field. The professor begins his study with a discussion of the Granovetter study of a job search and then proceeds to describe network dynamics. By chapter four, the reader is ready to be introduced to the concept of weak links as universal stabilizers. Then, the professor conducts a network tour ranging from macromolecules to the planet earth. Finally he ends with a discussion of weak links, stability landscapes and game theory.
Surprisingly, his book is understandable, even to non-academics. It is loaded with gems that can be applied to the reader's networks and relationships.
This is not a book I would have ever picked up on my own. Thankfully, Professor Csermely sent me an advanced copy. It is a unique book that takes a thorough look at an intriguing concept.

Joe Girard takes the cake.......2006-07-24
He's literally the World's Greatest Salesman, who has actually been in the field and achieved great accomplishments in sales himself, vs other gurus who simply do great at selling their books & audiobooks. He's the best, period, and he shares his knowledge with you in this book. cake
Do This And You Will Win!.......2005-08-24
It is simple. If you listen to this CD DAILY! you will win. Joe Girard has done the unthinkable in automotive sales and he takes you step by step through his process. If you listen to this CD and more importantly, take action on these steps you will sell more of whatever you sell. Joe delivers his message in a very laid back, factual style. There are no cliches or BS phrases us salespeople have been force fed, it is just pure and simple information you can use. I listen to each CD daily and it has greatly increased my volume and gross. Buy this...now.
I listened for free, and for free it was worth it.......2003-10-11
The biggest thing I got out of this Book on CD, was his personal life story. I was disappointed, I thought I was going to get more from him. but he did offer some good pointers.
Such as,
* Whatever you're selling is it good enough to put your name on the bottom?
* Salesman gotta remind that he is still there, with mail. He went on to explain about his mailing system.
* The greatest advertising in the world is the word of mouth. Take a great care of your customers.
* Make it stick when you close the sale: Ask her why she bought it from you instead of from other dealers/sellers she visited. This will let her tell you all the good stuff about you, and the bad stuff about other dealers.
He also mentioned that you must feel good about yourself, you must be prepared emotionally. becasue they will react to your face. So you must believe, your face will show you if you believe or not. well thats how the books goes.
CASE AGAINST:
He doesn't present a lot of information, its short. Maybe his books would sell better if he offered more information.
----> "Solution Selling" would be a much better book to read
Good Story, but No Real Help.......2003-05-14
Compelling story, but adds nothing to your knowledge. He goes over the same old stuff everybody does. I've heard much about him, but wasn't impressed.
Very Dumb Title...

Book Description
A collection of affirmations with attitude, Quickie Stickies is Karen Salmansohn at her sharpest and most unexpectedly inspirational. This unique package is a book of 100 sayings printed on Post-ups that can be-and are meant to be-stuck anywhere and everywhere, on the fridge, the computer, a boyfriend's briefcase, an office door, a bathroom mirror. Each is an aphorism to live by-not fatuous daily thoughts or recycled spiritual mumbo-jumbo, but sly street wit and wisdom. And each is wonderfully illustrated with retro colors and graphics. To wit: I'd rather be a role model than a supermodel, printed on the face of a bathroom scale. The only thing a gal can ever change in her man is maybe his wardrobe, next to a gingerbread man in a lime-green shirt. Live now. Procrastinate later, blinks a clock radio. On a Buddhist's shaved head: I have to let myself know what I know, you know? In bold black type on a field of chartreuse: Be a warrior, not a worrier. And, in a candy-colored collage with a cliff, the one that sums it all up: If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

playful and inspiring.......2005-07-24
After reading Ms Salmansohn's HOW TO BE HAPPY DAMMIT I saw this book of hers in a store and bought. Its lots of fun and motivating. You stick up the post its on your computer or refrigerator. It has ones like LIVE NOW. PROCRASTINATE LATER. with colorful graphics. I also love her site www.notsalmon.com. Kudos to Ms. Salmansohn for helping to make this world a happier place!
Funny, Funny, oh and I almost forgot, Funny!!!.......2004-10-08
This booklet of quickie stickies is awesome for any time that you are down or just need to get back to reality. They can easily be placed anywhere and can take your mind off of any daily stresses. Also, it is very good as a gift.
great gift to give others...and to give to yourself!.......2004-06-06
I found this book first in a store and wound up reading it page by page without wanting to stop. It's filled with funny but ever so true wisdom that makes great inspiration and motivation. It's very cool how the pages pull out and then you can stick them up places to remind you of its affirmational messages. I wound up buying one for me...and one to give a friend as a gift...who also LOVED it! I now just ordered another to give as a gift. I absolutely recommend it...A favorite quickie stickie was the one that said THE GOOD NEWS: ONLY YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY. the bad news:ONLY YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY....and the graphic was two newspapers with these two different headlines. Which reminds me to mention...the art in this book was really well done...graphic and attention getting and fun.
I Always Like What Karen Salmansohn Has to Say........2003-06-03
Her self-help style is just right for today: smaller gems for a fast-paced day with the right balance of humor and words that make you think for a few moments about yourself. They're not tired aphorisms in this book--they're new twists on the demons I find myself confronting all the time. I especially like the artist she teamed up with for this book. Her illustrations are bright and take the words a step further, and because of that, out of 100 "pick me ups" I have my favorites already. There's a sense of humor in the illustrations that I like a lot.

Beautiful, Inspiring Poems & Quotes.......2006-04-05
I received this book as a gift a few years ago, and decided to take it off my bookshelf and re-read it again today - and I am so glad I did!
"Keep Believing in Yourself & Your Special Dreams" is a compilation of beautiful, insightful, inspirational poems & quotes - all meant to urge the reader to keep (or start) believing in themselves and their dreams.
One of the things I really like about the sayings included in this book is that they don't leave out the fact that sometimes we might "fall", and sometimes life may throw us a curve ball - they speak to these possibilities, and remind us that although we cannot control all of the things that happen in our lives, we can control how we choose to react to them - are we going to stay down, or find a way to brush ourselves off and "get back on the horse again" - whatever our "horse" may be...
On top of the beautiful poems & quotes, the packaging of this book is beautiful as well - with the covers made of hand-made paper, and hand-colored by various artisans. Because of this, it would make a great gift to give to a loved one, or a nice treat for yourself.
