Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Has history been tampered with?.......2007-10-23
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RAZQNMXM4M9CL Has history been tampered with? Yes, it has! Did events and eras such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Roman Empire , the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance, actually occur within a very different chronology from what we've been told? Yes, they certainly did!
The history of humankind is both drastically shorter and dramatically different than generally presumed.
Why is it so? On one hand, it was usual custom to justify the claims to title and land by age and ancestry, and on the other the court historians knew only too well how to please their masters. The so called universal classic world history is a pack of intricate lies for all events prior to the 16th century. World history as we learn it today was entirely fabricated in the 16th-18th centuries. It's likely that nobody told you before, but
there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artefact that is reliably and independently dated prior to the 11th century.
Naturally, after what you've learned in school and university, you will not easily believe that the classical history of ancient Rome, Greece, Asia, Egypt, China, Japan, India, etc., is manifestly false.
You will point accusing finger to the pyramids in Egypt, to the Coliseum in Rome and Great Wall of China etc., and claim, aren't they really ancient, thousands of years ancient? Well, there is no valid scientific proof that they are older than 1000 years!
The oldest original written document that can be reliably dated belongs to the 11th century!
New research asserts that Homo sapiens invented writing (including hieroglyphics) only 1000 years ago. Once invented, writing skills were immediately and irreversibly put to the use of ruling powers and science.
The consensual chronology we live with was essentially crafted in the 16th century by the Jesuits.
The world history was compiled from contradictory mix of innumerable copies of ancient Latin and Greek manuscripts and other irrefutable proofs delivered by late mediaeval astronomers that were cemented by the authority of writings of the Church Fathers.
Early in life, we learn about ancient history. Children love the magical lessons of history - they are like fairy tales. Teachers recite breathtaking stories; very soon We learn by heart the names and deeds of brave warriors, wise philosophers, fabulous pharaohs, cunning high priests and greedy scribes.
We learn of gigantic pyramids and sinister castles, kings and queens, dukes and barons, powerful heroes and beautiful ladies, emaciated saints and low-life traitors.
Ancient history is based documents, manuscripts, printed books, paintings, monuments and artefacts - called primary sources.
The problem is that neither these ancient documents, nor events described therein can be irrefutably dated, moreover they contradict each other for the most part.
When a school textbook tells us that Genghis Khan in year X or Alexander in year Y, have each conquered half of the world, it means only that it is so said in some of the written sources.
There are no answers to simple questions:
When were these primary sources written?
Where and by whom were these sources found?
It is wrongly presumed that ancient and medieval chronicles, written by Genghis Khan's or Alexander the Great contemporaries and eyewitnesses, are readily available. Actually, only sources written hundreds or even thousands of years after the events are there, compiled mostly in the 16th 18th centuries, or even later.
As a rule, these sources suffered considerable multiple manipulations, falsifications and distortions by editing. At the same time,
innumerable originals of ancient documents under various pretexts were destroyed in Europe under various pretexts.
The names of persons and geographical sites often changed meaning and location during the course of the centuries.
Geographical locations became clearly defined on maps only with the advent of printing.
This made possible the circulation of identical copies of the same map for purposes of the military, navigation, education and governance tasks.
Historians from Oxford say: "hey, everybody knows that Julius Caesar lived in the first century B.C.
`Julius Caesar' statement is only a point of view as
there is simply no irrefutable documentary proof that Julius Caesar or any other great name of antiquity ever existed.
Better than that - extremely rare sources that can be reliably dated back to the 10th-14th centuries A D, do not show the polished picture of classical history.
They show a picture both contradictory and confusing.
All methods of dating of ancient sources and artefacts are erroneous:
Radio-carbon C14 method produces dating with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of events in historical timeframe!
The Almagest tractate, which lies as corner stone contemporary chronology, compiled in the 2nd century A D by Ptolemy, the founding father of astronomy, contains astronomical data of 9th to 16th century!
The Bronze Age,that has supposedly began 5000 years ago. Bronze is made of 90% copper and 10% tin, but the technology for tin extraction dates back to 14th century A D!.
All eclipses contained in manuscripts, like Thucydides one, relating 'ancient' events have exclusively medieval dating. All horoscopes cut in stone or painted in Egyptian temples, like Dendera have exclusively early medieval dating solutions.
Not quite what you have learned in school? Open your eyes, and, you will find sufficient proof to reach step by step the inevitable conclusion that the classical chronology is false and therefore, that the history of ancient and medieval world universally accepted today, is also false. Have a fresh outlook on everything said or printed about "ancient" and "enigmatic" Roman, Greek and Egyptian, medieval as well as all other "lost and found" civilizations.
Antiquity and Dark Ages are phantoms invented in the 16th 18th and polished in 19th 20thcenturies. Human civilization is in fact barely 1000 years old!
This book will change your perception of History forever!
What if Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt were invented during Renaissance?
What if The Old Testament was a rendition of events of the Middle Ages?
What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 and crucified in 1086 AD?
Sounds Unbelievable?
Not after you've read "History: Fiction or Science?" by Anatoly Fomenko, the genius mathematician.
Armed with astronomy and computers Anatoly Fomenko turns History into a rocket science.
Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.

Book Description
First published in a very limited edition in 1994, and reprinted only once since, The Pseudonomicon has been extremely difficult to find. By special arrangement with Dagon Productions, we have brought it back in this revised and expanded edition. Of The Pseudonomicon the author says:
"Disclaimer: It is generally agreed by experienced magicians that working with the Cthulhu Mythos is dangerous due to the high risk of obsession, personality disintegration or infestation by parasitic shells. Whilst giving this opinion due consideration, I have decided to release this material since, before the throne of Azathoth, questions of who is sane and who is mad become inconsequential."
and:
"Each god brings its own madness. To know the god---to be accepted by it, to feel its mysteries---well you have to let that madness wash over you, and through you. This isn't in the books of magic. Why? For one thing, it's all too easily forgotten, and for an other, you have to find it out for yourself. And for those who would sanitize magic, whitening out the wildness with explanations borrowed from pop psychology or science---well, madness is something that we still fear---the great taboo. So why did I choose Cthulhu---High Priest of the Great Old Ones---lying dreaming "death's dream" in the sunken city, forgotten through layers of time and water? It sounds so simple to say that I merely heard his "call"---but I did. Gods do not, generally, have a lot to say, but what they do say, is worth listening to."
With a new Introduction and a completely new, and greatly expanded section on Banishing.

not just a fantasy........2007-05-01
the Cthulhu Mythos IS real !!!
i bought and read this book years ago. i may not have agreed with everything Hine wrote (personal aesthetics will, of course, differ), but it was fruitful for the next steps i would take... this being the Cult of Cthulhu. just as inspirational as LaVey's Satanic Bible.
yes, the Pseudonomicon became the slimy foundation for our bible, Cthulhu Cult. if you enjoy Lovecraft's FACTUAL cosmology, then definitely take a look. the simon Necronomicon can go to Hell by comaprison.

A joy to read.......2007-02-11
The irrepressible Phil Hine does it again. Don't be fooled into applying ordinary categories to this author. Satyrical or serious, both and neither. Naive New-Age relativism, hardly.
I had the pleasure of getting to know him a little in the early 1990s. Phil will challenge you to drop the crutches of your current belief system, and stand on your own. If you can knowingly work with a fictitious system, you will come to see how much of your ordinary perception is likewise a fiction. Assumptions, preconceptions, prejudices, all become suspect.
All you are left with is the diamond hard core of reality.

Just a comment on what the previous user said........2006-09-14
The previous reviewer mentions the author's assertion that just because Cthulhu (et al) does not exist it doesn't mean you cannot use Mythos symbology as a reference point for Magick
Following that rather naive approach then we can conclude that if Will alone is to be trusted, then the receipt of those horrid McNuggets would be enough to open the gates of reality and shape the world at will. Or better yet, scrap the receipt and use Will alone.
This is a very dangerous approach to things and in no way is it different to the pseudoscientific "shape reality" hogwash preached in that movie "what the *bleep* do we know", curiously enough financed by the Ramtha School of enlightenment. The only good thing to come out of these wild theories is the number of Darwin Awards that come with the cleansing of the gene pool.
Interesting book if you're interested in this type of stuff, though. Check it out.
Great book - not a satire.......2006-07-06
The Pseudonomicon by Phil Hine is a great and interesting book attempting to combine Cthulhu with chaos magick. The reviewer who took this book as satire doesn't seem to be familiar with the writer's other works (such as Prime Chaos), or even to have read the book.
Hine knows full well that the Cthulhu Mythos is purely fictional (and has been very caustic about the various fake Necronomicons that have been published). But, as he points out, just because Cthulhu doesn't exist doesn't mean that you can't use the Mythos as your reference point for magick.
Read up on what chaos magick is all about and it'll make more sense. Yes the book is funny, but it's certainly NOT mocking the idea of magick. Hine is a practitioner of some note. Taking it seriously is beside the point. Take it humourously, and use it anyway.
Funniest Satire In Years!.......2006-04-27
What many readers just do not grasp is that this book is a highbrow satire. It is written to parody the idea of magic, not endorse it.
The Cthuthlu Mythos is derived from short stories & novels by one H.P. Lovecraft. Short stories & novels--ya know? F*I*C*T*I*O*N?
The fact that two reviewers have taken this SERIOUSLY gives me the giggles! :D
And I am astounded by the number of "interesting" people who cannot distinguish between reality & fantasy.
BTW--I admire Lovecraft's writing---AS FICTION.

Great! and the chants work!.......2007-08-25
This is an excellent book.... Yes, the book title an look is very cheesy, but this book is cheese free. THe chants have worked very well for me ... I was skeptical at first, but I am very pleased with what has been presented here.
Much Love & Many Blessings,
Thorn Nightwind
Don't Let the Title Turn You Off!.......2007-03-22
OK--the title's retarded. I purchased it a couple of years ago because it's Raymond Buckland and he has been known to be a good contributor on a variety of topics that interest me.
The first time I used it, I picked a chant to help my spring pollen allergies. It worked quickly. I was amazed.
However, it got placed on a shelf and I forgot it was there...finally, during my annual purging of my bookshelves, I sent my copy to the used bookstore.
This spring, allergies struck again. They were so severe that it sounded like I had bronchitis or the flu. And I found myself thinking, "Now, what was that chant I used that one time?" I did remember the chant and used it. Allergies went away.
I decided to purchase the book again and keep it this time--and explore its other uses.
After purchasing the book TWICE with excellent results, I can safely say I recommend it.
Definately Use with Caution --- It really Works!!!.......2006-11-02
I have had this book for at least 10 years, but started using it two years ago. I am very careful when I use these chants because it does not always come in the form you expect. Some effects are bad and good. I always try to do positive chants because there is Karma and it does come back to you worse than what you put out (it comes quicker with the chants for some reason). My only issue with these chants is that you don't know how things are going to end up once it unfolds -- meaning there is no control over the outcome.
I have done chants for myself to obtain money and for purification of my home. They worked well -- with no problems. I recited a chant to a friend over the phone (because she was looking for a job)and 3 minutes later she received a call from a company she interviewed with 2 weeks prior. She got the job. She had been searching for a job for at least 2 months. That was too ironic.
On the other hand, I used a chant to bring money to another friend (because she was in need) and something negative happened to her. The chant was done with her permission, of course. She ended up getting into a car accident and is now going to sue the person that hit her vehicle. She injured her back in the accident. There were other people in the car with her, but they did not get hurt. So, I refuse to do anything for anyone else unless it is of healing nature.
Now I use with caution. I still love this book a lot. I use it on an as-needed basis -- for healing and purification. Hope this review was helpful to you.
I Swear this book actually works!!.......2006-10-30
I came across this book about 14 or 15 years ago when I was in college and dabbling in Paganism and general occult type stuff. I found it in a used bookstore bargain shelf and thought "Why Not?" Well, this book WORKS!! Talk about a shock!
I remember doing a spell to bring money (I was in college and totally broke as usual in those days!). 3 days after I did the spell, I received a completely unexpected check in the mail from the government for a mistake on my tax return for $50. The odd thing is that I was in a sublet for the summer, so how did they get my correct address?
The book is simple to use and I feel like it just helps to direct your personal power and energy into a deep concentration to help you focus and manifest your desires. Whenever I do a chant, after a little while I can feel myself getting goosebumps, like the air around me is moving. It may be my energy drawing together. Who knows? But with such a funny little name for the book, who would expect that it could help so much?
a reader from united kingdom.......2006-08-17
This book is excellent. there should be books two,and three of 'chantomatics' to cover all aspects of magick. if i had found this book earlier it would have saved me a fortune on other magikal books of little substance. the approach is simple,
direct, and a joy to perform. if you are unsure whether to buy
this book, my advice to you is, GET A COPY FAST; it's a gem.

Better all around, than others I've read........2005-01-13
This was the first of a few books on Sigils and Chaos magic, that i had read. It is far easier to read and work through than those b peter Carrol, and I have had some success with the performance and charging of sigils. Just be aware of thet fact thet you need to be specific about what you " wish for " you just might get it with a twist If you leave things vague.

Practical Sigil Magic by Frater U.D. is a book for people interested in achieving results. It is forthright, intelligently presented and does not meander from its objective.
All in all, the book is rather scarce, and expensive. However, upon acquisition one quickly discovers that it is very much worth whatever the price tag that accompanied it. The rich fullness of information contained within its pages is not to be found on the web.
With that in mind, upon reading the book and putting its teachings into practice, it becomes quite obvious why PSM is so sought after, and why it is unlikely that it will ever be reprinted - it was never intended for the eyes of the masses; indeed, giving this book to the unprepared would be closely equivalent to giving handgrenades to toddlers.
If you are seeking a book that will supply you with a small but very versatile range of relatively simple but exceedingly potent techniques, showing you how to quickly and easily access and alter both your own innermost being and the fabric of your local reality field, look no further. Practical Sigil Magic delivers completely.
As for obtaining a copy of PSM, watch eBay for it. Practical Sigil Magic has gone for as little as $65 for a good clean copy (moon waning, well after full), and for greater than $250 when the moon is waxing to full.
Understanding that, if you are serious about acquiring power and knowledge, you will get yourself a copy of this book. It is indispensable.
Just Wonderful.......2004-01-05
This book is superb, and it is a travesty that something so groundbreaking is out of print. Frater U.D. has performed a great service in making Austin Osman Spare's works comprehensible to the average magickal practitioner, such as myself. All one needs for this type of magick is a pen and paper, as well as the desire to perform a five-second ritual to implant one's wish into one's subconscious. And I haven't even mentioned the fascinating Alphabet of Desire! It is fair to say that this publication has changed my entire way of thinking about magick and mental processes. Believe me, in case of fire, this book is what I would save first.
Theory And Practice Of Sigil Magic.......2000-06-04
If you're new to the subject Practical Sigil Magic is a good place to start. If you already know how to do sigil magic you'll probably find this book redundant. On second thought, you might find a few ideas here that you never thought of before (this author has a habit of doing that). Good, clear information. The book should have been called Sigil Magic for Dummies.

Better as Part of a Beginner Reading "Set!!".......2004-04-21
I did find Write Your Own Magic to be inspirational, I read it in about one day (casually reading it in small chunks over about a 12 hour period). So...it's not going to take you hours upon hours to read, nor is it overly hard to get started using the authors techniques. Write your own magick contains lots of good, useful information on using the power of positive thinking magickally through the power of written and spoken words. Sections take the reader through twelve chapters (with an afterward, several appendices, bibliography, recommend reading and an index), some of the useful information covered includes:
Chapter 1 detailing how words ARE magic
Chapter 3 with information on manifesting your dreams and finding your life's purpose (who couldn't use help in those areas...lol)
Chapter 4 determining what to ask for
Chapter 6 the ritual
I did particularly enjoy the section in chapter three regarding the five year plan...which most people have heard of or dealt with at some point in their lives...I found it to be a fun "take" on the process!! If you follow the book, developing your plan and implementing it with Mr. Webster's technique, you've gone a long way toward finding and achieving your life's purpose!!
Having said this...I do want to point out that this book could just as easily be shelved in the psychology or self-help section as in the New Age, Metaphysical, or Magic/Pagan section of your local bookstore. As a matter of fact in the first few chapters (if the title did not specifically use the word "magic") you might not even know that this was a book on using magic to improve your life...and surprise...this is an issue I have with this book...I'd like to feel that it was more than a "run of the mill" self-help book right off the bat!! I bought this book sight unseen from Amazon for my birthday...to read out of curiosity and to possibly recommend to my students as a good starter book and I find that I have a more than a few mixed feelings about it...I DO feel that it has a lot to offer the absolute beginner and that it's useful as a reminder how powerful one's state of mind can be in affecting what energy we send out and receive in our life, but I also feel that it has an extreme "new age" almost fluffy feel to it that is somewhat disconcerting.
This IS a good magickal "cookbook" for complete beginners. It stands above many of the others on the market by providing general methods for doing magick as well as prewritten spells. What I really like about this book is that the main component or teaching tool is not JUST a string of prewritten spells...this volume actually requires a bit more of the reader than the usual introductory book on this subject and I feel it does a more than adequate job of giving the reader the tools needed to use magic for one's own personal needs -- even if those needs were not directly covered in the book.
There IS some interesting info as follows; in chapter seven we see some magical methods from around the world for sending a wish out to the universe. The next chapter covers making written amulets and talismans, followed by a brief chapter on using crystals and gemstones, a small but relatively harmless chapter on mandalas, followed by a short chapter on group work. The last chapter of the book discusses more formal spells, with a good number of prewritten examples; however, everything here is VERY brief and while it is interesting, it's not enough for the total novice to actually begin using any of these methods...this overview is at best, a springboard for those areas you'd like to study more in depth!!
So, in the end, I find that I feel this is NOT a stand alone volume on the practice of magick in everyday life...it would be used best as part of a "set"of books recommended to get one started studying and practicing magick as part of your regular spiritual practices!!
I give it a B for content and usability...mostly because the information from chapter 7 forward is largely unusable unless you buy a bunch more books do a heck of a lot more research (and that's just to achieve a beginner's usable level of knowledge on each subject)...but don't let that discourage you, there is lots of info to be had here and it IS presented in an easy to use format. I would personally use and recommend this techniques in this book as PART of a larger reading group or "set" of books...to give a more rounded and accurate skill set to the reader!!
I give it an A for price...with a list price of 9.95, it's perfectly reasonable for a book of this size (about 250 pages including the appendices and index) and caliber of content!
AG ;-)
Inspiration.......2003-02-28
I find this book to be something for inspiration. It does not go in to details so for a beginer it is OK.I was looking for lot more.Waste of money.
A Fun Way To Success! Excellent Book!.......2001-06-26
Science has proven that writing down your goals greatly increases the chance of them becoming a reality.
Richard Webster shows you how to use "white magic" to achieve your dreams and goals in this delightful and fun book. His writing style is amazing... everything is clear, as though he is personally guiding you along.
I've tried out some of the sacred words and the results are interesting to say the least.
Get this book. It's fun, and your future could depend on it! :-)

Creative Visualizations through Guided Meditation.......2006-10-25
"The core practice here, akin to the alchemical distillation of gold, is known as "manifestation," bringing the deepest, purist expression of your life into visible form." ~Rick Jarow, Ph.D.
Rick Jarow, Ph.D. teaches an opening to the realm of inner vision in order to manifest abundance in the outer world. He believes that what we focus on creates our life, thought by thought.
The book chapters include:
What is Abundance?
Gateways to the Temple of Beauty
Challenges to the Alchemy of Abundance
Creating a Lifestyle of Abundance
The Mandala of Manifestation
Creating an Abundant Society
The guided meditations are comforting and infused with beautiful music which makes them even more appealing. Rick Jarow opens up an inner world where you literally can enjoy inner landscapes that lead you on a visual journey.
The CD includes sessions about your body, money, machines, home, creativity, organization, other, depth, journey, vocation, vision, dissolution and return. You can either go through the entire CD all at once and spend about 80 minutes on an inner voyage or spend about 5-6 minutes on each section. This is perfect if you enjoy a daily meditation session or you could use this a refocusing moment any time of the day.
A journal is recommended to write down any ideas or thought that appear spontaneously. Rick Jarow shows a beautiful depth of creativity and awakens the inner child who enjoys imagining. It is amazing what appears as you listen and visualize. Guided meditations have never been this fun. You truly do receive guidance from your soul throughout this beautiful gift. Some of the things Rick says are actually pretty funny and I'm working on "imagining what I could do with too much money if I had too much money." That was a fun thought.
The "Body" section was interesting. When you enter the realms in your mind, you see a word on a door. When you do through the door, you imagine all sorts of things inside the room and then when you leave, guides (you imagine two people)give you something. My guides gave me a exercise bike, which must have meant I need to ride the bike more and work on that aspect of my exercise routine. You never know what the guides are going to give you, but something spontaneously appears.
When I left the realm of machines, the guides gave me what I thought was a book, then it started spinning and turned into a clock face with fast spinning hands. Now that was interesting and must have some deeper meaning. During the home section, I envisioned steam and aromas lifting off a stovetop and then at the end was handed a boiling pot, but instead of steam, coins were rising and falling out into a mist.
In creativity I envisioned a river of book pages and words and at the end, the guides gave me a swimsuit that looked like it had the shimmering scales of a fish on the fabric. I assume that meant: "Do something creative where you feel like a fish in water or feel comfortable."
During the organization section I imagined a dining room table and then a spinning lotus flower that lifted off the table and into the hands of the guides and then they handed it to me as it turned from a flower into a spinning pottery candlestick that turned into a gorgeous gold candelabra with beautiful burning flames on the top of each candle.
In the realm of depth, I was given a ring with a live butterfly sitting as the "gem" on the ring and throughout there were all these images of butterflies moving through a metamorphosis and emerging from cocoons.
"Journey" had stunning imagery of mountains and retreat locations with the guides giving me a book of music notes that flew up into the sky and turned into doves. By this time, I couldn't wait to figure out what I would see next.
"Vocation" and "Vision" were equally intriguing. I had to light a candle in the room of vocation because at first it was mysteriously dark like I had walked into a nightscape with a forest, but soon I walked through the forest and noticed a sunrise in the distance. The guides were floating above me and poured sparkling water into my mouth as I was looking up at the sky.
In the last section, I was handed a basket of whole-wheat rolls. What I found most intriguing within the entire session was the heart I was handed in one section that was gold and on a necklace and there were little tears (or raindrops?) dropping out of an invisible center. "Dissolution" was the most fun with an underwater world where I was a mermaid one minute and a bird soaring above the ocean the next, but the bird was like my real self with wings.
Not only are you enjoying an imaginative journey, you also can use this meditative space to breathe more deeply. I emerged happy and delighted by this experience and the book is more of a companion to the CD and I think the CD is the experience!
I loved this for the brilliant level of creativity. 100 stars! You have to try this to awaken the answers to questions that could change your life. If you enjoy archetypes or mythology, this makes you feel like you have become a mythical being living in your own imaginary world.
Writers and poets may find this especially healing and it
could inspire poetry or even imaginative novels.

Another fluffy book.......2006-10-24
Ummm... this book doesn't make a clear point about anything. It is an attractive book with a bonus cd. It seemed interesting at first... after finishing the book; however, I wondered what exactly was the point of this book. There is very little content. The author shares a few nice, somewhat original thoughts about manifestation, but not enough to redeem the purchase. The rest of the book just explains the exercise (the "Mandala of Manifestation") contained on the cd.
The "Mandala of Manifestation" is a visualization meditation where you focus on 12 aspects of life that most people would like to create more abundance in (career, relationships, money, life purpose, etc.). The cd is divided into these 12 segments. In these segments you visualize a temple/building where each room contains an aspect of the mandala and try to receive guidance or insight into this part of your life. At the end of each segment, you are instructed to stop the cd and record any insight you received onto your Mandala (that you have drawn on a piece of paper).
This meditation visualization was o.k. but did not resonate with me. It felt too much like a kindergarten program on manifestation, meaning that it seemed dumbed down and low on content. It is also a lot of work to do and I did not gain much insight. There is no actual guidance on manifestation techniques in this program. It focuses instead on receiving guidance from yourself/higher self in different areas of your life. You don't really need a book or cd to tell you to close your eyes and ask yourself for guidance in an area of your life since you can easily do that without this book/cd.
The new age/ spiritual book market has some very wise and informative books; unfortunately, it seems that too many people decide they want to write a spiritual book and have very little original or new to share. So, I am always looking for the gems among the many books filled with fluff. In my opinion, this is not one of the gems....
How disappointing!.......2006-01-31
This book will not help you very much. Just about anyone can write a book like this one. A real loss of time and money.
Plus the title is really insulting the word "Alchemy", using it for marketing purposes. I feel robbed with this kind of books. A masterpiece in mediocrity.
The Art of Manifestion.......2005-11-02
A lot of books present manifestion with a kind of just-do-it approach, and it is true that much of the secret of manifestation lies in beginning where you are. However, as human beings living in this time, we are not programmed to look within as a primary place for making things happen in our lives. If we are desiring a new job or a new apartment or a new mate, the first thing we do is look in the classifieds, or go to bar ... in other words, we feel as though we have to do something concrete and definite in order to put ourselves on the road to experiencing the thing that we're desiring. We're not inclined to look within and change the thoughts or impressions that we have about ourselves or the world around us. What we seem to overlook as modern human beings is that a sense of trust in what we cannot see or sense immediately can go a much longer way to getting us from where we are to where we want to be.
In Alchemy of Abundance, Dr Jarow suggests way in which we can develop a feeling of trust in the unseen creative processes that bring about the circumstances in our lives. If we find ourselves in a particular situation, rather than acting right away, we could look more closely at what is happening in order to discover what the situation is trying to communicate to us. Ultimately, we are the ones who create the lives that we live, but instead of blaming ourselves for not "getting things right," we can open up to what is happening on the inside, and, in that way, we become aware of the beliefs and feelings that created the situation in the first place. From that vantage point we can begin to change from the inside out.
This is not a "do-it-quick" method, but something, in my opinion, far more valuable. Manifestation is a process, a way of life, an art. It is the process of examining who we have been so far in our lives, and it presents the opportunity to be something else. Alchemy, he suggests, is an inner "process of self-realization ... that unfolds through the interaction of inner imagery and outer experience." It is the process through which we can observe how our desires become our life, and invites us to have an increasingly conscious part to play in that process. He starts from the premise that we are all abundant beings already; that there is abundance present in our lives whereever we are. It might be difficult to accept at first, but it is a very liberating idea.
Only 81 pages long, it is a book you can easily read in a day, but would take a lifetime to mull over and put into practice. The practice of abundance is not a finite thing, he suggests. It doesn't stop when we get what we want, but goes much, much further than that to transform us as individuals, and ultimately, the world we live in.

I just know it works!.......2006-05-29
I bought this book because my teacher asked me so in order to using it for a Psychic Self-Defense class. At first, when I read the first pages, and all the stuff about the author's boasting over results, I thought: what a nonsense! But then I tried one of the spells, I did not even provide incenses or candles or anything, just read one over and over in front of a candle. And it worked right away! I was in shock, but kept trying. One after another, all the magic proved to be worthy. As for evil spirits being attracted by some of the spells, I have not experienced anything of the sort.
But once I tried one spell over getting rid of an individual I did not get along with. I asked no harm for anyone, and the result was I got an opportunity at another place, so I stopped being obliged to deal with that person at once. That was not what I had planned, but still it was what I had asked. That happens a lot of times with the spells in the book: if you are careful, they do not backfire (you always can add or modify lines to prevent it asking for no harm to come), but they may surprise you.
This is one book I will never get rid of. If you need to prove yourself that magic exists, just try it.
THIS IS NOT WICCA.......2006-05-15
I purchased this book many years ago. I would not recommend it to someone just starting out because you may not recognize errors and be able to know how to make adjustments. There are also some spelling errors throughout the book that do not detract from the usefulness of the material. That being said, I have used the recipes in this book and they WORK! The rituals that I have used work extremely well. There are chants in this book that will pack a punch. A must read, but use with caution. This book was first published in 1972. Dr. Manning's rewrite of this book titled "Real Ritual Magick" came out in 1987 and did a much better job. Dr. Manning was the founder of the famous ESP LAB.
Bad spirits appear!!!.......2006-03-13
When I used the Nature Spirit spell in the book all sorts of bad things started happening to me afterwards and I felt the presence of evil in my house. I ended up moving because I knew everytime I went home evil was waiting for me. Don't mess with this stuff! The book sounds good but it unleashes bad spirits.
Wonderful Introduction to Working with Magic.......2004-10-30
I got this book some 20 years ago and have experimented at a time with just about every single spell mentioned in that book. They have all worked beautifully - actually some have worked way better than I expected and they taught me some other lessons about the importance of mastering the control over one's thoughts and emotions, alongside with playing with power.
This is not really a Wiccan book. It is eclectic book and mixes deities from an assortment of traditions. It has nothing to do with any religion, merely with using different tools to help you focus your mind on your outcomes effectively, helping you to create outstanding results.
If you use it a lot, eventually, you will not need the external tools any more - but will be able to rely fully and completely on using the power of your mind alone. The book will help you to train your mind.
A note on the "spells" in this book. They are beautifully written as a rhyme. Now, 20 years later, I still remember them. Using a rhyme is very effective way to impress ideas upon your subconscious mind.
When I began using this book, I was experimenting with everything, just to see what happens. In those experiments I was repeating the "spells" verbatim as they are written, out of curiosity, and well, some things manifested in interesting ways, the wordings from those spells, even though I didn't really care to have them manifest. As you learn to write your own spells, you may incorporate the wording in them that you're certain you'd like to experience, because your subconscious mind has a tendency to accept everything literally, and then create it in your experience.
In any event, this book is bound to bring you many interesting experiences.
BEWARE!!!.......2004-02-14
This book is excellent but the title is misleading.
There are spells that even invoke demons(Azazel).
It is white witchcraft for the most part.
The author is either unware of this or is dishonest.
Be very carefull using the spells in this book.

Excellent source book.......2007-08-12
This is one of the very best books for any type of enegy work. (i.e. magic, healing, transformation.) This author did her homework! A very nice oversized book with tons of information on runes, rays, color work, tarot, stones, and astrology correlations! Over 14 years ago, this was one of the first books I had read on subjects surrounding enegy work~it definately opened the door wider for my personal development. This was a book I found randomly at a library and I even had to pay a late fee on it. Someone must have liked this book as much as I did, because I went to check it out again and it never came back!! Thank you for reconnecting me with this book as it is one of the best refrences ever!
This is an essential book for magical work.......2006-06-23
I have found this book to be a definitive book for all kinds of magical work, the one reference that I cannot do without. I recommend it to all of my students, and to those of my peers who are interested in expanding their magical toolkit. Her book is clear, concise, and encyclopedic in its use of the expanded system of colored Rays and Lights, and their associations with everything from stones to Runes to energy centers in and around the body. Buy this book.
How to apply the color rays to enhance your work.......2001-05-13
This has been one of the most valuable tool-kits I have ever encountered in working with magic. Amber Wolfe's clear explanation of the rays and lights makes sense, and her application and extension of their use to many different magical systems is inspired.
An example: She gives associations between the rays and the runes. I used her color association with the rune Uruz to magically strenghten my house through two hurricanes in 1995. In one case, a tornado destroyed a tree in front of the house, the screen door, and then some trees in the back yard. Yet the house was unharmed.
I'm very saddened that this book is out of print, and I hope that it is reissued as soon as possible.
