Book Description

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind reveals the missing link between wanting success and achieving it!

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get rich easily, while others are destined for a life of financial struggle? Is the difference found in their education, intelligence, skills, timing, work habits, contacts, luck, or their choice of jobs, businesses, or investments?

The shocking answer is: None of the above!

In his groundbreaking Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker states: "Give me five minutes, and I can predict your financial future for the rest of your life!" Eker does this by identifying your "money and success blueprint." We all have a personal money blueprint ingrained in our subconscious minds, and it is this blueprint, more than anything, that will determine our financial lives. You can know everything about marketing, sales, negotiations, stocks, real estate, and the world of finance, but if your money blueprint is not set for a high level of success, you will never have a lot of money—and if somehow you do, you will most likely lose it! The good news is that now you can actually reset your money blueprint to create natural and automatic success.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is two books in one. Part I explains how your money blueprint works. Through Eker's rare combination of street smarts, humor, and heart, you will learn how your childhood influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your own money blueprint and "revise" it to not only create success but, more important, to keep and continually grow it.

In Part II you will be introduced to seventeen "Wealth Files," which describe exactly how rich people think and act differently than most poor and middle-class people. Each Wealth File includes action steps for you to practice in the real world in order to dramatically increase your income and accumulate wealth.

If you are not doing as well financially as you would like, you will have to change your money blueprint. Unfortunately your current money blueprint will tend to stay with you for the rest of your life, unless you identify and revise it, and that's exactly what you will do with the help of this extraordinary book. According to T. Harv Eker, it's simple. If you think like rich people think and do what rich people do, chances are you'll get rich too!

2 out of 5 stars Mostly Useless.......2007-10-24

I was unimpressed with this book. The basic premise here is auto-suggestion, covered much better by other authors. Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised from Napoleon Hill and The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz are both much, much better books all-around and cover the idea of auto-suggestion. Put the money you would have spent on this book into one of those two books.

5 out of 5 stars my favorite audio book on money.......2007-10-23

eker is like the money drill sgt. he gives examples why poor and middle class people earn the money they earn. and why the wealthy earn what they earn. i have heard this audio book several times sense 2005. it is barely starting to click, or maybe stick. one of my favorite quotes goes something like: we are wired to survive, not thrive. which explains why we let fear run the coarse of our money lives. that is the flight system, not the fight system we have living instead.

5 out of 5 stars I wish I could have read this book 30 years ago.......2007-10-21

This is a must read. This book is worth it's weight in gold - I plan on purchasing extra copies for several family members and close friends. The Author is very bright, has tons of excellent suggestions and is wise in money affairs. One of the best books I've read in the past 40 years.

5 out of 5 stars Attracting Multi Millionaires and Billionaires..........2007-10-18

I got the book on 3 CDs two years ago after attending Harv Ekers free 3 day seminar.

I had just moved across country with no clients or connections. This great energetic audiobook narrated by the author has made a great difference in my life.

Since practicing what I learned from this book I have attracted tons of hollywood celebrities, high paying jobs working directly with world leaders, calls from Oprah, several meeting with Paris Hilton (as a hair extensions consultant for one of her companies), and now I have attracted billionaire investors for my new school!

I highly recommend this book. Harv and company, thank you, thank you, thank you!

2 out of 5 stars One long sales pitch for his seminars.......2007-10-17

Near the end of the book, T. Harv made a great point about "if you learned something, it was worth it." - I don't think he was referencing the book, but i did learn a few things...and with this logic, it was worth the quick read. What I couldn't stand were the non-stop references to his seminars and subtle hits about how pyramid schemes can make folks money. I'm guessing there is some sort of referral/pyramid scheme with him seminars, hence the majority of the book came off like one big sales pitch to attend his seminar. Take out all references to his seminars and how much they'll help your or have helped others, and you are left with 1/2 of the content, which again, would be worth the read and has some good ideas/points.

4 out of 5 stars Self-help is a mindset.......2007-10-21

I've always believed people can't be motivated. A speaker or a book can rev someone up and they'll walk away excited for awhile but generally fall back into their rut. If one wishes to change their life, it requires a true mindset overhaul and much determination. I feel any book that can teach that is worth picking up. While I'm still a huge "Think and Grow Rich" and Larry Winget advocate, this book accomplishes much the same thing and is written so that anyone can understand it.

5 out of 5 stars One of my favorite books........2007-10-18

When I ordered this book, I was hoping it would be an interesting read.
When I read the book, I was really overwhelmed. I have read the book 2 times so far. I highlighted it throughout. It is one of the finest books I have ever read for self-improvement. I am recommending the book to friends. I am a retired medical doctor.

4 out of 5 stars Upbeat ode to confidence and a positive attitude.......2007-10-09

David J. Schwartz wrote this book nearly 50 years ago, but its principles are as fresh as the latest positive thinking seminar. Attitude, says the author, determines whether people embrace opportunities in life, and how they handle difficulties and challenges. He teaches that professional and personal success is rooted in self-confidence, conviction and optimism. Schwartz's advice and recommendations hold up, though you may wonder what planet you're on when he refers to $65 weekly salaries and $1,200 down payments on homes. Life obviously has changed dramatically in the past half-century and, considering the vast number of self-help books on the market, Schwartz's ideas hardly seem revolutionary, though they may have been at the time. We believe this classic retains its valuable foundation: A basic, useable approach to pursuing a happy, purposeful life.

5 out of 5 stars Think BIG is BIG.......2007-09-20

Highly reccommended! Not just for the aspiring business person..this book is for everyone. This is the secret before there was "The Secret". A must read, insightful for everyone who wants to have a better life.

4 out of 5 stars Great Stuff/ Timeless Priciples.......2007-09-06

This is an all time classic. But if you buy this book you better not be looking for a contemporary book on cutting edge material. This is a classic like "How to Win Friends and Influence People", with solid moral and ethical principles of business and how to live your life.

I would say that this is a must read, except for the fact that you have to get past some pretty dated anecdotes and the fact that the writer does not reference who these anecdotes are about. I can't imagine a contemporary writer getting away with what was polite and respectful writing in 1959 & 1965 when Schwartz uses anonymous examples to make his point. If a writer does that today they would seem to be writing fiction.

I may have offended some and I apologize. This is a great book and I don't mean to take away from the very sound principles in it. My only warning is that it was originally written in 1959 and that doesn't make it any less than excellent.

Book Description

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

5 out of 5 stars Has history been tampered with?.......2007-10-23

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RAZQNMXM4M9CL Has history been tampered with? Yes, it has! Did events and eras such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Roman Empire , the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance, actually occur within a very different chronology from what we've been told? Yes, they certainly did!

The history of humankind is both drastically shorter and dramatically different than generally presumed.

Why is it so? On one hand, it was usual custom to justify the claims to title and land by age and ancestry, and on the other the court historians knew only too well how to please their masters. The so called universal classic world history is a pack of intricate lies for all events prior to the 16th century. World history as we learn it today was entirely fabricated in the 16th-18th centuries. It's likely that nobody told you before, but

there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artefact that is reliably and independently dated prior to the 11th century.

Naturally, after what you've learned in school and university, you will not easily believe that the classical history of ancient Rome, Greece, Asia, Egypt, China, Japan, India, etc., is manifestly false.

You will point accusing finger to the pyramids in Egypt, to the Coliseum in Rome and Great Wall of China etc., and claim, aren't they really ancient, thousands of years ancient? Well, there is no valid scientific proof that they are older than 1000 years!

The oldest original written document that can be reliably dated belongs to the 11th century!

New research asserts that Homo sapiens invented writing (including hieroglyphics) only 1000 years ago. Once invented, writing skills were immediately and irreversibly put to the use of ruling powers and science.

The consensual chronology we live with was essentially crafted in the 16th century by the Jesuits.

The world history was compiled from contradictory mix of innumerable copies of ancient Latin and Greek manuscripts and other irrefutable proofs delivered by late mediaeval astronomers that were cemented by the authority of writings of the Church Fathers.

Early in life, we learn about ancient history. Children love the magical lessons of history - they are like fairy tales. Teachers recite breathtaking stories; very soon We learn by heart the names and deeds of brave warriors, wise philosophers, fabulous pharaohs, cunning high priests and greedy scribes.

We learn of gigantic pyramids and sinister castles, kings and queens, dukes and barons, powerful heroes and beautiful ladies, emaciated saints and low-life traitors.

Ancient history is based documents, manuscripts, printed books, paintings, monuments and artefacts - called primary sources.

The problem is that neither these ancient documents, nor events described therein can be irrefutably dated, moreover they contradict each other for the most part.

When a school textbook tells us that Genghis Khan in year X or Alexander in year Y, have each conquered half of the world, it means only that it is so said in some of the written sources.

There are no answers to simple questions:

When were these primary sources written?

Where and by whom were these sources found?

It is wrongly presumed that ancient and medieval chronicles, written by Genghis Khan's or Alexander the Great contemporaries and eyewitnesses, are readily available. Actually, only sources written hundreds or even thousands of years after the events are there, compiled mostly in the 16th 18th centuries, or even later.

As a rule, these sources suffered considerable multiple manipulations, falsifications and distortions by editing. At the same time,

innumerable originals of ancient documents under various pretexts were destroyed in Europe under various pretexts.

The names of persons and geographical sites often changed meaning and location during the course of the centuries.

Geographical locations became clearly defined on maps only with the advent of printing.

This made possible the circulation of identical copies of the same map for purposes of the military, navigation, education and governance tasks.

Historians from Oxford say: "hey, everybody knows that Julius Caesar lived in the first century B.C.

`Julius Caesar' statement is only a point of view as

there is simply no irrefutable documentary proof that Julius Caesar or any other great name of antiquity ever existed.

Better than that - extremely rare sources that can be reliably dated back to the 10th-14th centuries A D, do not show the polished picture of classical history.

They show a picture both contradictory and confusing.

All methods of dating of ancient sources and artefacts are erroneous:

Radio-carbon C14 method produces dating with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of events in historical timeframe!

The Almagest tractate, which lies as corner stone contemporary chronology, compiled in the 2nd century A D by Ptolemy, the founding father of astronomy, contains astronomical data of 9th to 16th century!

The Bronze Age,that has supposedly began 5000 years ago. Bronze is made of 90% copper and 10% tin, but the technology for tin extraction dates back to 14th century A D!.

All eclipses contained in manuscripts, like Thucydides one, relating 'ancient' events have exclusively medieval dating. All horoscopes cut in stone or painted in Egyptian temples, like Dendera have exclusively early medieval dating solutions.

Not quite what you have learned in school? Open your eyes, and, you will find sufficient proof to reach step by step the inevitable conclusion that the classical chronology is false and therefore, that the history of ancient and medieval world universally accepted today, is also false. Have a fresh outlook on everything said or printed about "ancient" and "enigmatic" Roman, Greek and Egyptian, medieval as well as all other "lost and found" civilizations.

Antiquity and Dark Ages are phantoms invented in the 16th 18th and polished in 19th 20thcenturies. Human civilization is in fact barely 1000 years old!

This book will change your perception of History forever!
What if Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt were invented during Renaissance?
What if The Old Testament was a rendition of events of the Middle Ages?
What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 and crucified in 1086 AD?
Sounds Unbelievable?
Not after you've read "History: Fiction or Science?" by Anatoly Fomenko, the genius mathematician.
Armed with astronomy and computers Anatoly Fomenko turns History into a rocket science.

3 out of 5 stars Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03

Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.

5 out of 5 stars Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19

Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.

5 out of 5 stars Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09

There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.

For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.

Book Description

"This book provides practical strategies for developing the mental skills which help speed you to your full potential."---Dave Winfield

What does it mean to play heads-up baseball? A heads-up player has confidence in his ability, keeps control in pressure situations, and focuses on one pitch at a time. His mental skills enable him to play consistently at or near his best despite the adversity baseball presents each day.

"My ability to fully focus on what I had to do on a daily basis was what made me the successful player I was. Sure I had some natural ability, but that only gets you so far. I think I learned how to focus; it wasn't something that I was necessarily born with." -- Hank Aaron

"Developing and refining my mental game has played a critical role in my success in baseball. For years players have had to develop these skills on their own. Don't know why this is here as I never purchased this item.

2 out of 5 stars Worth $1.99.......2006-01-12

I am very disappointed in this book. I was looking for leadership games to share with my management class. Of the 50 games listed, only about 10 deal directly with leadership skills and traits. The rest are general ice-breakers, productivity boosters, and team-building games. And, in my opinion, none of the games are worth more than what you can find for free on the internet. For instance, one game encourages you to develop a slide presentation of photos and ask your group about first impressions of people. It is a good idea for a quick game but the book doesn't provide any photos. It took about 45 minutes to read the entire 160 page book. So, if you can pick up a used copy of this book for a couple of bucks, you may find a few useful ideas that you can adapt to your own work.

3 out of 5 stars Could be a good place to go.......2006-06-23

I was expecting something a little different. I did enjoy browsing the games and saw where they may be a good fit at some of the things that I have to lead. I'm glad to know that there is a book like this around.

4 out of 5 stars The big book of motivationa games.......2006-02-28

After skinmming thru this reference book, I am excited that it has several activities that I will use in my trainings.

4 out of 5 stars A Good Place to Start.......2005-09-27

I utilize this book quite often to kick off sales meetings and have found the exercises to be fun and always with a point. My groups seem to enjoy them as well. This is a great book for people who needs ideas, but tend to run out of them.

2 out of 5 stars Not many real games.......2004-04-04

I was disappointed with this one. The Big Book of... series tends to be hit-and-miss. This one's a miss. There seems to be a shortage of actual games, and a lot more ideas for how to get a good healthy discussion about Topic X. If that's all you need, this may be a good one. I was looking for actual games and activities...found a lot of them in Miller's Quick Teambuilding Activites for Busy Managers. But all the activities in that book are short, so if you need anything to last more than 15-20 minutes, try Ukens' All Together Now--some of them are longer (for retreats and other long meetings).

1 out of 5 stars So?.......2003-03-01

Nice ideas, but I couldn't find any game that would possibly motivate my audience.

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Helpful resource that could be improved.......2007-05-14

The best thing about The Complete Games Trainers Play is its sheer size. Actually, it isn't nearly as big as some reviews imply. It is really around 1000 pages, not 2000+. And for some reason, a significant percentage of those pages are left blank. But even with that caveat, this is still a sizable resource.

If you are willing to devote 30+ minutes to finding an activity, you are sure to find one (or five) that are ideal for your training event. The fact that individual "games" can be removed from the ring binder is also helpful. This allows you to use the activities without carrying the whole book around, and to easily photocopy sheets for individual participants as some activities require.

However, there are some significant downsides. There is no real way to find appropriate activities without flipping through virtually the entire book. A large number of the activities aren't very good. And, most of the book is in a strange "typewriter" typeface that makes it look like it came from 1972. (Oddly, there are some pages which are randomly sprinkled through the book that use a different, more recent-looking typeface.)

To really upgrade its usefulness, Games . . . would benefit from taking a leap into the computer age. In other words, along with the printed book, a computer CD should be included. This could feature a good, searchable index, which is now lacking. It would also make it possible to print out games, and modify handouts on the computer to your organization's needs.

I've never bought any other resources like this, so I can't say if this is better or worse than others. I can say that in spite of the steep price and the drawbacks, I'm definitely glad I purchased it. It was very useful to me, and will be again in the future. However, there are a few simple steps the authors and publishers could take to greatly improve it.

5 out of 5 stars Trainers Dream.......2006-11-03

This is a great tool of Trainers. Keeping your trainees engaged throughout the training is always a challenge. This tool give creative ways to assess retention of information. The games are great and the administrative forms and suggestions are wonderful.

4 out of 5 stars Lots of games here.......2004-12-08

People love playing games a lot more than listening to lectures; this is indisputable. I didn't like all of the games listed here, but so what. Several I found helpful and intend to use.

2 out of 5 stars Not Impressed.......2003-09-30

Although there is a lot of information packed into this book, I was very unimpressed with the layout and visual design. It looks like it was typed up in 1970. The graphics are ancient and the layout is just one big binder with no cross-referencing or indexing available. To find a useful game, you have to sift through hundreds of pages. It really is a shame, as there are some clever games here to loosen up an audience.
Frankly for this price, I expected something a bit flashier and filled with reproducibles that I would want to copy and hand out. The way it looks now, and with it's unwieldy format, it's going to sit on my shelf.
If I hadn't spilled water on it, I would have sent it back for a refund.

4 out of 5 stars The Complete Games Trainers Play.......2000-05-23

This book was helpful in planning an in-house managment training session. The book is divided into sections making it easy to locate games targeted at specific areas. The book is actually a 3" 3 ring binder. It is a large book, however, it does contain a wealth of information.

    Customer Reviews:

    3 out of 5 stars A Solid Effort!.......2001-03-30

Robert Lowe provides a hands-on guide to using the techniques of improvisational theater to increase spontaneity and creativity in the workplace. He shows how to use these "improv" techniques to improve communication, break down bureaucracy and help people in your organization express their talents. He includes many examples, including guided visualizations, fill-in questions and exercises, along with personal stories and accounts from his workshops. While some of the tips on creativity and visualization will sound familiar to those who know self-help literature, Lowe's background in theater and improv makes his approach fresh. We [...] recommend this book as a useful guide for top managers and for anyone leading or working with a group or team. Here's why the show must go on.

4 out of 5 stars More than just GAMES!.......2000-12-28

I read this book from cover to back, constantly discovering wonderful new things that as an exeperienced improv performer, never quite knew or understood. Mr. Lowe does a splendid job at presenting "easy-to-read" metaphors on how the art of improv can benefit the small to the very large corporation. I would highly recommend this book to not just the savvy CEO but to the SAVVY improv performer who wishes to break out of the stage arena and right into the corporate training world.

Hold on to your seat, Lowe doesn't just present old Spolin games, he defines their use in our technological highly-communication-based era.

    2 out of 5 stars A bit deceiving..........2000-10-26

I purchased this book and hungrily read it cover to cover. I had looked at the reviews and was expecting a book that would transfer the skills of improvisation to a corporate environment. The book is well written, but does not deliver on its promise. It spends way to much time rambling on about sizes of groups and spiritual references. Of the 263 pages, about 10 are relevant to corporate trainers, and improvisation techniques that are appropriate in business. Disappointing.

5 out of 5 stars A wonder of a book about the wonders of Improv!.......2000-10-24

Robert Lowe has written a wonder of a book! He has expertly and creatively transferred his wellspring of Improv knowledge to the written page in a smart and cohesive manner. Not only is this unique and timely book a must for professionals such as actors, public speakers, educators and managers, it is also a book for the layman who seeks to improve their communication skills. This is a book for everyone! Read it and see what I mean!

5 out of 5 stars Become More Brilliant in Business with Improvisation, Inc!.......2000-08-28

This book deserves more than five stars!

Robert Lowe is America's leading improvisation teacher for executives and managers. He captures the best of his years of experience in this fascinating book filled with exciting exercises to help you better tap into your inner resources.

Most people associate improvisation with comedy clubs and speech tournaments in school. What has this got to do with business, you ask?

Improvisation is a remarkable way to communicate because it creates more authentic messages and delivery of those messages. It is as though the person is speaking from the innermost soul. Compare that to reciting a prepared speech or script that you don't really believe in or understand.

Those who have studied communication know that body movements and tone of voice have more impact on the hearer than the words that are spoken. With improvisation, those movements and tones are much more powerful and authentic. In a sense, your subconscious ends up speaking directly to the other person's subconscious. In improvisation, your subconscious loosens up to emerge with ways to act on subtle clues about your audience that you are not even consciously aware of.

Comics often use improvisation to develop the basis of routines that they polish into slick, prepared comedy. In doing so, they are using the creativity-enhancing aspects of improvisation The most confident humorists rely only on improvisation for their comedy.

Experience with improvisation can also help you and your team to have better ideas supported with both more confidence and more flexibility when you are communicating in an important situation.

Robert Lowe's book here is especially valuable because it also helps you assist your colleagues to improve their improvisational skills as well. The wide variety of exercises in the book is very valuable because some of them are bound to feel very comfortable for anyone. But be sure to try the ones that initially feel uncomfortable. Often, those are the ones that work best once you let go of your conscious mind. Those are also the ones that make you stronger and more capable in less time.

Another benefit of improvisation is that we all learn best when we are playing. And improvisation is wonderful fun! Why do I say that? Because I have used improvisation training myself, and found it helpful to me in many business situations. At the end of every exercise I have ever done, I was having a ball. Further, I found that I am more comfortable with myself after have worked on these important skills.

I first developed an interest in this subject when I observed that many of the most talented members of our consulting firm's staff had acting training. These capable people noticed more about those they were communicating with, and had more ways to be effective in getting their points across. So for years, learning these skills has been part of our staff improvement process. From those experiences, I found that improvisation training was the best method to use.

A major strength of this book is that Robert Lowe genuinely likes people and enjoys working with them. You will find a warm supportive style behind everything here that will encourage you and others to make rapid progress.

But don't just read this superb book. Also, try out all of his recommendations so you can feel the power of this wonderful creativity-enhancing communications method!

Overcome your stalled thinking that only traditional ways to learn can make you and your organization more effective!
