Book Description
Whether they are corporate professionals, budding entrepreneurs, or they own a home business, most people are looking to achieve more in less time, while earning enough money to live comfortably. This book reveals the proven techniques thousands of people have used to attain all of the money they wanted while living healthy, happy and balanced lives. The Power of Focus, the new blockbuster from the coauthors of the bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul, is a practical no-nonsense guide that shows readers how to reach their business, personal and financial goals without getting burned out in the process. Canfield, Hansen, and Hewitt have taken the best ideas from their own successful careers (seventy-nine years of combined business expertise), and distilled them into ten powerful focusing principles. The result is a treasury of insights that is enjoyable to read and easy to understand. At the outset, the book identifies the three most important fundamentals for consistent success: developing unusual clarity; understanding that habits determine your future; and using a "no exceptions policy" approach to focus on what you want. Numerous anecdotes and inspiring stories help to reinforce each principle. This is a must-read for business people, sales managers, entrepreneurs, and anyone who is serious about improving their personal awareness.

Focus.......2007-10-21
Good book, it fills some gaps for me, setting goals for example I never knew the detail that was required. At $11.oo worth it!
Excellent read - with great explanations..........2007-10-13
If you are new to life planning, dont miss this book. I had done over 80% of the things indicated in the book, yet I found the book very enjoyable.
The thing I liked most was that the book lets you interact with it. There is plenty of space for you to do the exercises and write down your answers. Dont worry about right or wrong.
If you are serious about making the book work for you, you must follow the instructions. After reading the book, skim through it again; if your handwriting does not show on at least 30% of the pages, you have not done what you were supposed to do. In that case you will derive only a fraction of the true benefits it has to offer.
Learn, enjoy, and succeed - who knows what you will be in the next

Wow! This is great for us creative A.D.D types who are entrepreneurs .......2007-10-01
Amazing! I felt like that book was written just for me.
On page 14 they explain how to identify bad habits by listing 26 habits that hold you back. I had 24 of the 26 bad habits!
Now that I'm able to focus effectively, LIFE IS GREAT!
The Power of Focus.......2007-08-23
I have not completed the book yet but what I have read so far has been excellent and I have put into practice the ideas presented. I especially like the interactive study questions in each chapter. I would highly recommend this book for everyone who has their own business or is thinking about starting their own business
Great book for entrepreneurs.......2007-08-09
The creators of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, have teamed up with top performance coach Les Hewitt to create The Power of Focus, a step-by-step guide to making your dreams become reality and creating the life you want.
In order to get the most out of the information in this book, one must first realize this: "Success takes effort and consistent, focused activity." (quoted directly from the book)
In a nutshell, that's essentially what the book is all about, and it is only worth reading if one understands and agrees with that statement and is willing to put it into action. The "Power of Focus" is not something to just read and then think about; it is a set of instructions for doing the things necessary to achieve your goals
Each chapter describes specific strategies and techniques, and includes motivating stories about real people who have implemented and succeeded with those techniques. At the end of the chapter is a set of Action Steps, which condenses the strategies into an easy-to-follow instructional format. In addition to a well laid action plan for success, the book also provides loads of suggestions for additional reading to help keep one motivated and continuously learning. All in all, "The Power of Focus" is easy to read and understand, and is quite motivational as well.
While the book seems to be geared toward self-starters, business owners, entrepreneurs and the like, there is something of value in it for everyone. Most, if not all, of the techniques described in this book could be used with respect to any goal, be it business, financial, or personal. For someone who is stuck in any aspect of life and not sure how to effect change, reading and implementing the techniques defined in "The Power of Focus" could definitely help.
Book Description
Since its original publication in 1995, Leading with Soul has inspired thousands of readers. Far ahead of its time, the book bravely revealed the path to leadership to be a very personal journey requiring a knowledge of self and a servant-leader mentality. Now, in this new and revised edition, authors Bolman and Deal address such currrent issues as the changing nature of work, the new face of today's workforce, and the greater need for an infusion of soul in the workplace. They also include real-life stories from readers of the first edition, and answer key questions that those readers raise. As vital as ever, this revisted narrative of an executive and his quest for deeper meaning continues to point the way to a more fulfilling work experience.

Saccharine for the Soul.......2007-07-12
First, a disclaimer -- I'm an atheist, so a book that regularly refers to concepts like "soul" and "prayer" wasn't perfect for me.
That said, as a former partner in an international management consulting firm I've had to wade through many poorly written management and advice books. Among those, this stands out for being particularly vapid. The conceit of being a work of fiction that teaches allows the authors to ignore the need for research or data. The fictional account also allows them to avoid taking any repsonsibility for presenting alternate viewpoints or expressing doubt.
Most management books have a theme that could have been confined to a ten page article, which the authors instead run out to 200 pages to make a book. In this case, the messages of "more to life than work" and "treat employees with respect" would have better been presented as a five paragraph essay.
Nice cover photo of the woods though...

I found this book to be very well written, useful in my career decision making.
I hope to read more books written by this arthur.
Easy Read Business Book.......2007-03-11
Leading with Soul is an easy read. But it has so much to give to the reader. It interweaves a story line of an executive in crisis with business advice rather than just telling war stories. It could be one of those business books that you read once a year. It is a living book that would continually have new insights as you live your life.
For example I participated in an on-line book study at the Work and Worship Institute, and one of the questions I answered was:
Reflect on Gandhi's words we must "become the change that we want to see in the world."
My answer: I think it is critical that leaders role model the type of behavior and values they want to see in followers. It is hard to change other people when you haven't experienced the change yourself. Also by trying to become the change our understanding of the change will we different. The group might still need to make the change but how a change is implemented or the timing of the change can be very different. I work with small businesses, it helps that I bought a business and went bankrupt as I consult with them. I have walked a difficult small business walk. I understand that new change of starting a new adventurer of a small business. I am the change because I have taken a risk.
Obviously you would answer this question differently and I would answer it differently today than I did two years ago. Enjoy this valuable book.
Leading with Soul book.......2007-02-12
I recieved the latest version of the book. The shipping was within the deadline promised. It is the latest edition of the book. The book itself is of medium quality. It is a new, unused hardback but the finish of the pages is rough. There are pages sticking out from the inside a couple centimeters and (compared with the straitness of the text)the top and bottom of the pages from left to right are uneven. It is obvious this was a cheap reproduction of the origonal and it was not cut right from the factory. When the book is looked at it appears someone or something was chewing on all the edges of the pages inside the book. The hard cover is perfect though. But, seeing as I paid less than 8 dollars for a HARD BACK book and that all the printed text was perfect and more than readable, I really souldn't complain. I am satisfied. The cosmetic errors did not take away at all from the functionality of the book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLER!
I wish all would lead with soul. Great book.......2006-10-26
A parable and an introduction to a personal journey from autocratic and hateful leadership to leadership with soul. This is a book that invites you in and holds you tight as you read this compelling journey. Changing from autocratic leadership to leading with soul is daunting and not many make the journey. My question is what does it take to move autocratic leadership to make the transition. May be the question of the century. If we can move people to this leadership paradigm, we can change people's lives, their family's lives, and create a new reality for the children of this world. Read this book.

Don't you wish. . . .......2007-08-27
that money had less power over your life? Thsi book is a certain guide to breaking emotional and metal molds in one of life's touchiest areas. Lynne Twist's exploration of the spiritual side of money adn wealth is a heartening introduction to a way of thinking that can change the way the world does business. Her insights are that powerful.
Disappointment and a Waste of Time.......2007-07-18
I will keep this very brief as I don't want to waste your time like the way I wasted mine by reading this book.
Key Points of the author:
- Align your transactions with your morals
- Scarcity is not real. Believe in sufficiency
- Focus on the qualitative aspects of life, like relationships
That is pretty much it. The book is a VERY touchy-feely book filled with her real life examples of volunteering with Third World countries and how deep down in peoples' souls is where fulfillment lies, not in materialistic goods. Some of the things she says and suggests borders on socialist doctrine.
If you are looking for a way to better understand yourself, happiness, and the role money plays, I suggest you look into the field of positive psychology. Money has diminishing marginal returns...in other words, the guy who earns $500,000 is not 10X happier than the guy who earns $50,000. With that said, remove yourself from the rat race, be content with the things around you, don't focus so much on tomorrow, and dedicate yourself (career/volunteer) to something you believe in. That simple equation is more valid and will transform your life more than this entire book.
Life-Changing.......2007-01-10
Lynne Twist has written a very inspiring book that can totally tranform one's relationship with money and self.
Great: Move over Jerry Mander! Spirit values live.......2007-01-10
This wokderful lady adds the spirt to the money. She has accomplished much in the world, so this is not a "how to" book that is for the purpose of making money for the writer, but one whom I know lives the life and walks the talk.
The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life.......2006-11-03
I enjoyed the book and recommended it to friends. Lynn Twist offers up lots of food for thought on ways to view money and how to spend money so that it makes a difference in the world.

not bad at all.......2005-03-14
I had this book on my wishlist for over a year before I finally bought and read it. I couldn't decide how good it would be, if it would really be worth a $10 bill--or if other books were more deserving of my cash. If you're in that position, this review is for you.
The chapters of this book alternate between stories of adventure and motivational or self-help chapters.
The adventure stories are enjoyable, and if, like me, you haven't had enough adventures lately they might inspire you. The story of his experience as a gaucho, near the middle of the book, is a great one. In the end of the book he compares fatherhood to an adventure, entertainingly comparing his daily routine to the imagined routine of a cave-man. These chapters are the better parts of the book.
The motivational/self-help chapters are filled with the standard exhortations, although here and there the adventure theme adds an intriguing twist, or a unique suggestion. If you really take them seriously, they might be quite helpful. So, although this book is not bad, it's not great, and I'd recomemend "Less Traveled" or "7 Habits" above it.
Conclusion: If you've read those two books, and if you think adventure is something your life is missing, then this book is worth the money and time.
Further conclusion: If you haven't done anything adventurous lately, and your life feels boring, then it's time you did. Reading this book might help you get off your tush, and then it's important that you read it.
Enjoyable read.......2004-07-14
I have read a lot of non-fiction selp help and spiritual books and I must say this one was a pleasure to read. The writer, who spent 20 years he says, completing this books shares with the reader what he learned mainly from his life experience not just "book larnin", so to speak, which makes this book a somewhat light but pithy and very interesting read.
The author uses a pattern whereby he writes a chapter that tells the story of one of his adventures in what I found was an engaging, honest and delightful way. It was hard not to want to find out how things turned out I found and hard, at times, to put the book down.
After you read a fact based chapter, the author then writes a chapter that summarizes the life lessons he learned from his experiences in a point by point manner although he still weaves his life into these chapters as well. These chapters I found easy to follow and yet packed with good life advice. Some of it is probably a review of what you may have heard somewhere else but has the ring of experience behind it that makes it seem more real. For example, from one of his encounters with one of the last real life gaucho's we are given his (the gaucho's) meaning of life summarized in a few sentences- "There is nowhere to go. There is nothing to do except to be of service." Then, the author expands upon that statement in the following chapter.
The author's proclivity for action makes this a good read in particular for those seeking to become better people but lack the personal motivation to pursue a more sedentary sitting meditation practice. The author's perspective is interwoven with a spiritual foundation but emphasizes an active pursuit of one's growth to reach a more spiritual point of view. That is, using everday life as a tool for growth. It also emphasizes the fact that one can become a more complete person without having to embark upon the adventuresome and risk taking life that he did. (Oh yes, some of his fellow adventurer's were woman as well and there is definitely something in here for woman, even householder's, as well.)
My only criticism is the author's political naievete' which he sort expresses at the end but not blatantly, but that doesn't detract from the highly entertaining way that hard earned and quite useful life messages are communicated to the reader. (I probably only noticed the political stuff more because of my own sensitivity to that arena not because the author is trying to blantly push a political message because he is definitely not.)
If you are a "seeker" looking for a change of pace and refreshing read I think you will find it in this book. At least I did. In fact, I hope to reread it to remind myself of the useful messages conveyed if I can put down all of the other books that I have committed myself to, that is.
SEEKING ADVENTURE?.......2000-12-29
I SAW THIS BOOK WHILE I WAS ON CHRISTMAS SHOPPING SPREE AND I BOUGHT IT AS A GIFT. I STARTED READING IT AND I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN.I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH THAT I HAD TO RETURN TO THE BOOKSTORE AND BUY TWO MORE COPIES. THIS BOOK STIRS THE ADVENTUROUS PART OF THE SOUL. GREAT READ!!
Adventures in Everyday Life.......2000-12-15
Salz tone of high adventure combined with self-deprecation (he actually advocates falling off your horse as an excellent way to establish rapport with the natives) definitely makes for an entertaining read.
While his of the Andes and Patagonia (from which one can learn an astounding number of ways to use one's hands when they are frozen solid) are gripping, Salz should be more readily compared to Richard Bach than Sebastian Junger.
Salz manages to give concrete ways of getting the spirit of adventure into your life without having to get your passport stamped... or even leaving your own backyard!
I'd recommend this book highly to anyone who feels like the grind of everyday life is getting them down. I look forward to his next book!
A Remarkable Adventurer.......2000-11-18
Jeff Salz is adventure. Every minute of his life is filled with the quest for it. His talent at sharing this with others is amazing. To follow Jeff's sharing is to find the love of adventure within the folds of your own life. Or to break out of those folds and do something that is so you, so on your edge and so filled with aspects of your own unlived life that you know aliveness from the inside out. You can live great aliveness and inner peace at once. Jeff has the gift to show how.

Nicholas Rodgers Review Is for the Wrong Book.......2006-08-20
The book that Nicholas purchased is a training manual for WEB I version 6.5. It is a Power Point presentation that is designed to self-train or to train others. It comes with the presentation on the CD so it can be presented through a projector.
This book (ISBN: 0972263616) is a textbook designed to be used as a reference (as it has many examples) or to teach oneself how to use Business Objects 6.5. I assure you that there is no Power Point presentation with this book.
The WEB Intelligence XI training manual will be available in about a month. It is a very good book to train yourself or to train others. It will also have a CD with the Power Point presentation, so that it can be presented through a projector.
This is a Powerpoint presentation printed and bound........2006-08-14
This book looks like someone made a really long power point presentation and printed it out and had it made into a book. It could probably be useful for a teacher, but for a student it's not very useful. In addition, you must have full access to the businessobjects software in order to use the examples. In addition, this book has absolutely no coverage of the XI R2 web/java interface whatsoever.
A keeper.......2006-08-14
As a person that went from an occasional BusinessObjects user to a power user I found this reference book to be concise, well organized and with very good illustrations. Thanks to this book I was able to flatten the learning curve and create professional reports and assist other users in a vey short amount of time.
Outstanding Business Objects Training & Reference Tool!.......2004-05-03
I've been following Robert Schmidt's books since Business Objects version 4.1, and he continues to impress. Business Objects is a very powerful query tool, but putting the information in a formatted, concise report can prove difficult. Robert Schmidt does a fantastic job of walking a user through the different types of reports, while giving helpful hints (and warnings about potential pitfalls) along the way.
In addition, this book has an excellent section on using formulas and variables. The author does a superb job explaining context operators, and how to use them to display the data at an appropriate level of detail. Report developers seem to struggle most with this concept, but Robert Schmidt does a very good job of breaking down contexts and making them easier to understand.
I've attended official Business Objects training sessions, and none have come close to providing the level of information available in this book. At 550+ pages, this book is really a complete reference for creating Business Objects Reports. Best of all, this book represents an outstanding value - 10X the information of official Business Objects training at roughly 1/10th the cost!
I'd highly recommend this book for anyone who develops or uses Business Objects reports!
Best text to learn Business Objects Ver. 5 or 6.......2004-04-29
Business Objects is a powerful, yet sometimes perplexing tool. Many of the nuances and very powerful features are just not covered in training or the vendor manuals.
In this text, Robert Schmidt creates a truly useful tool to learn the product, for novice to advanced. His first book was very good, but this one is spectacular - it covers not only what you really need to know to be effective with Business Obejcts, but also the important differences in the latest version of the product (v6). Most major releases to products require investing time in a certain amount of "re-learning" the tool; this book hits the right points for understanding what is really important. I've been using the products for over 6 years, and this is "hands-down" the best and most comprehensive text I've seen, yet it does not give up readability for use by people new to the product.
Great job on this book - I don't even blink at the price when I look at the often minimal return on classroom training costing hundreds more. Why buy a lousy book for $50 or more? I've sent people to training for years with less return on the investment. Step-by-step examples are in every chapter, each has a logical theme, and where v6 has changed, he notes the change and gives some insight in what it means to the reader.

Customer Reviews:
Where did your spiritual base go? .......2007-07-01
I picked up this book hoping to find a resource to assist me in helping others. I wasn't able to finish the book, perhaps because I understand spirituality at a deeper level than the author appears to have ever been. It is interesting to notice the author's mean spirited response to the sole critical review of her work. Perhaps Cathy is the only person who doesn't personally know the author to put in a review. A spiritually based person would not respond to a critical review in such a narrow minded way. She even attacked the person's character because of misspellings. Where did your spiritual base go?
A good introduction to coaching with spirit.......2007-04-08
The problem with most coaching books and trainings is that they work at one level - the mental. They're designed around a framework of setting and achieving goals and are totally unaware of the larger context within which we live and don't address the levels where the real juice and power is, the emotional, spiritual and physical. In that sense they're not holistic. I've found really good books and trainings on coaching hard to find, which is why I initially picked this book up a few years ago.
It's a good book, one that contributes to the overall picture. I don't consider it to be a book that stands alone as a guide to coaching, as something like 'Co-Active Coaching' may be (which I used in my training). The coaching field is still relatively young and so what most people are doing is putting together pieces from here and there (usually according to their own personal worldview and biases) so it's difficult to get a true holistic framework or picture. I was lucky to have a coach trainer from another school who has a totally different perspective, one that really questions the whole transformational model. He says many people that use the transformational type methods cannot tell you what or how they do it, they just chalk it up to spirit or intuition or that 'it's part of the process' etc. and everything in that sense happens in a black box. And also, by using transformational methods, particularly when you're unaware of much of your own stuff (e.g. many coaches have an unconscious need to transform people - so they won't allow them to be who they are - from the coach's perspective, how would you be if you worked with someone for 10 or 20 weeks and they achieved 'nothing'?) you can take a client to places they could never get to on their own through an altered state process and from that place they may make decisions, e.g. leaving jobs etc, that they never would have made on their own at that time, decisions that can have sometimes really devastating impact on their lives. The 'transformational' coach though chalks this up to being part of the client's 'process', all the while being unaware of their own unconscious beliefs, needs and ways of operating. While I haven't agreed totally with what he says I do now look at books and trainings in a more critical way and can see that much of what is being taught, including spirit type coaching is not well grounded. Moreover, few coaches have done deep self awareness training and modalities BEFORE they learn the toolkit of coaching - and so see coaching as something you do to someone. In this field, it's very hard to find really conscious mentors, authors and trainers, something which I only woke up to after many years of trainings, workshops and teachers. So that is the context within which I write this review.
The book itself focuses on coaching with spirit. While it does offer a broad frame for doing that, it's contributions are from a variety of authors with different backgrounds (and therefore vastly different levels of awareness, training, experience, worldviews etc.). Initially I thought this was a major downside - it's not going to be a cohesive whole but just a patchwork of ideas. To some extent though, it's the book's strength because you're getting many different views, tips and perspectives.
I would use and recommend using the book along the lines of take what works and leave the rest. From that perspective there are many tools, perspectives and ideas in the book that are valuable. (Obviously what I consider valuable may not be for someone else). For me, often it's the little things and ideas that can be powerful, like discussions of the 'dip' that often occurs in the coaching relationship (with the client or the coach) and how others have addressed that. There are also a lot of reflections questions in the book that will have you considering issues of importance to your effectiveness and how you coach at a much deeper level. These are quite useful also.
The book covers the relationship between coaching and spirituality using the following areas - connecting with the Self, connecting with the client, connecting with the whole, the present moment and responsibility. There good chapters on marketing coaching with spirit and executive coaching. There are a few assessments in the book, some of which you may use, others you may find less useful. The book is based on the many author's experience (and obviously their training and influences), some NLP, touches of the New Sciences and ideas from therapy the wisdom of the elements. The real value though is in many of the tools, questions and perspectives that you can use and some of the reflections which will get you thinking more deeply about your practice. It's solid book, a part of the picture, just not the whole picture... the book which describes that I've not yet come across.
All the best with your coaching practice.
Coaching Bliss.......2002-12-10
This book is pure coaching bliss. I am a new spiritual coach and I found this book to be the perfect step to my next level as a coach. The wonderful passages about being quiet and allowing spirit in were very important for me. The many examples of real coaching experiences allowed me to understand how to invite spirit in. This book can't help but shift the way we coach, I reached a new level of joy just reading it and I know my coaching has shifted as a result. Open your heart to this extraordinary book.
Practical and Profound.......2002-12-02
Teri-E Belf has written a book both practical and profound - filled with proven principles and real-life experiences, shared by experienced coaches and people whose lives have been touched and transformed by coaching. Belf goes beyond coaching techniques (although these abound as well) to the heart of the matter - how insights and transformation can occur in big and small ways when Spirit is allowed to lead. I have rarely read a book with so much excellent practical advice that is so unabashedly focused on what really matters - helping people find personal purpose, meaning and connection in their lives. I highly recommend this to coaches and to all managers and professionals who are interested in helping people achieve their fullest potential.
A different perspective.......2002-11-24
The review from Cathy misinterprets the phrase, 'accepting clients unconditionally.' I am the strongest advocate for avoiding bogus feedback, having published an article to this very point. www.successunlimitednet.com/articles.
I train coaches to provide acKNOWledgement that offers clients a chance to KNOW themselves better, not feel good, or bad. Feeling is not relevant to acknowledgement.
Furthermore the reviewer mispells my name twice and that is consistant with her review. Apparently she skipped large sections and details that would have clarified my perspective. I value different opinions, not inaccurate representations.

Meditation Motivation.......2007-04-21
MEDITATION IN A NEW YORK MINUTE, both in book and on CD, is a remarkable guide to meditation, successful thinking and responsible actions. Mark's invitation to meditate is gentle and persuasive. The use of inspiring quotes from spiritual leaders is motivational. The actual techniques that he presents are useful, doable and simple. I find listening to the CD life enhancing. Mark has the ability to invite his listeners into the ancient and deep practices of meditation and make it practical for the busy indiviual. His voice on the CD is kind and healing. The breathing techniques are simple. They can be performed through out your day and yet are profoundly relaxing and balancing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires calm, peace, harmony and contentment throughout their day, no matter what the chaos surrounding them may be.
Meditation in a New York Minute.......2007-03-28
If you are looking for the benefits of learning meditation without the need to find a new spiritual path, this is a great book. The author assumes you will read through the book quickly and writes in a way that allows you to skim quickly while identifying places where you need to slow down and read thoroughly. He has a practical style and a wide variety of techiniques that allow the busy person to engage in meditation without a radical change to his or her daily schedule. Mark Thornton clearly has knowledge of the topic, so those who already know some forms of meditation will recognize his experience. This is a great find for anyone with a high stress job or who is just curious about the topic.
Excellent book.......2007-01-08
In this hectic, 24/7 world, meditation is one of the last things for which most people have any time. This book shows a number of easy ways that anyone can do "mini-meditations" at any time during the day, and that take only one minute at a time.
Everyone has an area of calm deep inside themselves. Accessing that area will decrease stress, re-energize yourself, and enliven the spirit, without closing your eyes and sitting in a lotus position for hours.
Among the techniques are: breathing energy, ChiGung breath for calm, eating (or walking or commuting) with Awareness, magnify heart energy, magnify wisdom, seeing the good in all people and dealing with anger. Start with just one technique, and practice until it becomes second nature. Don't expect to "get" all of these techniques the first time.
This book also mentions quick things that can also be done by anyone at any time. Change your screensaver or cell phone display to CALM or PRACTICE CALM. Breathe in for four seconds, hold for one second, and breathe out for four seconds. Check the muscles in your forehead, and around your eyes, to see if they are relaxed. Massage them if needed. On the subway, imagine your spine is a tube of pure white light, growing brighter and more intense.
This is intended for busy people who don't want to read a lot of spiritual theory; they want to get right to How To Do It. The author is a former executive at JPMorgan, so he understands workplace stress. He has done a fine job with this book. It's simple, effective, and best of all, it's fast.
Excellent Book!.......2006-07-14
Although I am relatively new to meditation, I was encouraged to purchase this book by a caring individual who recognized my lack of time for a more traditional approach. The concise, bullet-pointed, style of writing really gets to the heart of the matter and I very much appreciate that. I am working on several of the techniques in the book and already I have noticed a difference in my level of calm (I am working towards much higher goals, but this is an excellent place to start). If you are short on time, but can at least read this short book, you will reap the benefits of that investment. I highly recommend this book!
