Book Description
Hypnosis Weight Loss. Fast - Easy - Effective!
Imagine craving salad instead of chocolate or an apple instead of ice cream simply by listening to this Hypnosis Weight Loss CD as you drift to sleep each night!
Weight loss can be that easy!
Your impulse to eat unhealthy food originates in your subconscious. This weight loss hypnosis CD stops these unwanted cravings at their source. When your subconscious mind supports your weight loss goals, you will naturally make healthier choices.
Permanent Weight Loss has never been easier!
Why is "Relax Your Way to Thin!" so effective?
By creating direct access to the most powerful part of the mind, the subconscious, you can teach your subconscious mind to automatically act in the ways that best suit your goals, rather than relying on poor habits that you've built up over the years.
When you align what you consciously desire with your subconscious motivations...your possibilities are endless!
Can everyone be hypnotized?
Yes. Have you ever been driving a familiar route home and suddenly arrived at your destination without remembering the last few minutes of the drive? This is one example of our subconscious mind taking over the routine details of life. Our subconscious mind handles most of our day to day activities. That is the subconscious mind's job - to handle the details of life, while our conscious mind handles the more important needs.
Most clients are amazed at how quickly they accomplish their desired results. Unlike traditional therapies, Hypnotherapy is able to help you reach your goals without going through years of self-exploration.
When You Are Ready!
Reach your goals faster than ever! You can and will make permanent, positive changes in your personal and professional life. Beverly Hills Hypnosis offers an effective, relaxing, drug-free choice for change.
Customer Reviews:
Very Soothing Voice and Music.......2007-06-11
I would have to disagree with Karen K who said the voice and music were irratating. I found the narrators' voice to be extremely soothing and the music to be beneficial and relaxing. In fact, for all the hypnosis tapes I've ever used, this is by far the most relaxing. I'm able to go into an extremely deep trance and always come out with the suggestion at the end (that's how I know I didn't just fall asleep). I only gave it 4 stars so far, but will update it in a couple of weeks when I see how well it works. I've been using it twice a day for two days, today is the third, and haven't seen any changes in my appetite or eating yet. It says to use it for 21 days. I don't know if that means you'll only see significant results after 21 days, or what, but I'll keep this review updated to let you know if I've lost any weight. If not, then at least I have had some incredibly relaxing sessions while I'm listening to the tape.
Day Five: I found when I went to the market I chose only healthy foods and stayed away from the junk food without even thinking about it. I checked the fat content on all food even if it said "light" or "low fat." When I saw chocolate and thought I'd like some it was immediately followed up with the thought that I didn't want to buy it. The hardest part is getting out of the store without the junk in the cart. At home, I've noticed I have not wanted to eat between meals.
Fantastic!.......2007-01-28
After having so much success with Trevor's cd "Your Power Within" I had to try "Relax Your Way to Thin." I've lost 17 pounds so far and it is fantastic! I've never wanted to say I'm on a "diet" and I didn't really want to change my eating habits. But, after listening to the cd, my whole attitude about food and healty eating habits started changing. It made me realize that I wasn't denying myself anything by eating healthier, I was actually giving myself more. The weight started coming off, I'm feeling great and I'm sleeping soundly. Awesome CD, I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to loose weight.
Didnt work.......2007-01-12
This didnt work for me. Maybe because everytime I turned it on I fell asleep. Good way to fall asleep if you are having trouble. Bad way to lose weight.
Very impressed!!.......2006-11-06
I had gone to a Hypnotherapist before to lose weight and did not have much luck. However, I decided to try Trevor's method...and it works!! My eating habits changed dramatically after only listening to the cd twice. It is the most relaxing experience I have ever had. This cd allows you to fall asleep, so I listen to it while I am going to bed. It says that even if you do fall asleep your sibconcious will receive the messages that Trevor sends, without a doubt, it does! I am really amazed by this cd! I am getting ready to order his cd's for exercise and to quit smoking.
Thank you Trevor!!!
Amazing Changes!.......2005-08-04
This is an amazing CD with incredible results! I have always had weight problems, tried all the fad diets and always gained the weight back. Trevor has a soothing, reassuring and relaxing voice that has helped me to really start losing the weight. I have never looked or felt better, and I'm keeping the pounds off. This program has truly changed my life and I owe it all to Trevor. Thank you!

Customer Reviews:
Must Read.......2007-09-21
This is a MUST read for 2007. It is very good, and very practical and really makes you think. It's is beautifully written. Hands down, amazon is by far the cheapest.
a good success book.......2007-07-22
Cloud does a good job on how to have a successful life. First, you must find what you would like to do as a career. Second, deal with problems by fixing it or eliminating it. Third, create a well thought out plan step by step all the way to reaching successs. Also think about options and see if they will hurt you or help you in the future. Fourth, be proactive, be a person of action. Fifth, be dilligent and industrious by doing something and make progress, no matter how small the progress is. Sixth, Be sure to fix what you hate in a positive way. Seventh, do not seek justice for yourself, seek rather to give mercy and forgive. Eighth, study and grow in humility. Ninth, realize that you cannot please everyone.
Profound, important lessons of life.......2007-05-04
This takes some study and time to read, but the basics rules of life in the book come from decades of counseling and therapy work by this fine doctor.
My favorite and most difficult to achieve? To do the right thing, even though others may become angry or upset. So hard if you are raised to be polite and always try to please. But totally necessary to accomplish what you must in life.
Good job, Dr. Cloud.
The best book for building a life.......2007-04-21
This is the best book I have read for finding success in life - hands down. Any of these "Nine Things" can bring about a great improvement in the reader's quality of life. All of them together is a great foundation for building a life of legacy.
Read it, study it. It's worth the time.
One thing you simply must do: read this book!.......2007-02-08
I have read a lot of motivational books over the years and expected this one to be full of the same type of advice, warmed-over. I was really surprised by how good the book is. I even gave a copy as a Christmas gift to a friend who has a degree in counseling. And in my Toastmasters club, I gave a speech about this book, and one listener recommended it to her book club, and now they're reading it. The book is written in a way that grabs your attention. It's full of ideas on how to gain control of your life and how to handle relationships in a better way.

Book Description
I would not give a fig for the simplicity this side of complexity, but I would give my life for the simplicity on the other side of complexity. Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Crafting a simple life would be easy if getting rid of stress and clutter was all that simplicity seekers sought, but it isn't; we alos seek success. We long to create results that matter in our lives, work, and relationships. However, by defining simplicity as a solution to life's stress and complexity, many approaches point us toward relief rather than results. Because relief is usually temporary, we often oscillate between simplicity and success without realizing either. At best, the simplicity we achieve is the simplicity on this side of complexity.
Simplicity and Success: Creating the Life You Long For will help you go beyond merely getting rid of what you don't want. It will help you discover what you love and create a life that shows it. It will help you integrate conflicting desires by shifting your focus from solving problems to creating what matters. It will empower you to embrace life's complexity, appreciate its richness, and move through its often chaotic "messiness" to the deep, lasting and fulfilling simplicity on the other side of complexity.
Driven by vision, grounded in reality, and focused on results that matter, this simple yet powerful approach will help you simplify your life, achieve the success you long for, and feel energized, authentic and whole.
Customer Reviews:
Ripped off.......2007-05-08
a good book , but is a complete rip off of robert fritz material.
he has some original stories of clients, but other than that nothing original that i found. read robert fritz's books to get a more accurate and concise application of the creative process.
An elegant vision.......2005-05-18
Simplicity and Success is a great guide to creating a simple and successful life. Many of us in a fast-paced world crave simplicity - but don't know how to achieve it. Others chase after the world's definition of success and find it equally as elusive. Bruce Elkin offers an elegant vision of a rich life based on sustainable values. A must-read for those of us who care about creating meaningful and moral lives.
This book makes sense.......2005-04-25
I have so much respect for Bruce Elkin's approach to success. This is so different than anything else I have read or tried before. I noticed changes in my life right away, by changing the way I think about success and simplicity. You can have both! They are not mutally exclusive. I love the whole concept of "creative tension." This book is easy to read and easy to apply.
A new map of the territory.......2005-04-23
What immediately caught my attention about this book was that it supported values that are important to me. I feel like those of us who believe the modern life is lacking and would like to live in a manner which supports something other than the great accumulation of money and things are told, "It can't be done! Get with it, and join the real world."
What is most exciting about this book, is that it tells you how to create the life you want based upon things which are most important to you. Wow, what a concept. You don't have to try to fit in, or hang around on the fringes to avoid being gobbled up, compromise, lead a double life, or any of the strategies which I or others I know have tried.
The basis for leading this "dream life" is to exterminate either/or thinking, or problem solving, as it is named in the book. This book guides you through the process of inclusive thinking, goal setting, and honoring your values in a super-concrete manner. I never found myself thinking, yeah, that's a good idea, but it won't work. Many books are founded on lofty ideals with no practical on the ground action steps. Not so with this book. It leaves the ideals to you and leads you through the action steps. Revolutionary.
The author has a lot of experience with this process and it shows. The stories and examples are inspirational. Read it. Do it.
Looking at life's choices.......2005-04-06
In Bruce Elkin's book, Simplicity and Success, I found very useful and practical information. He writes in an easy to read manner as if he were there in person talking to you. He gives concrete examples of how to apply the concepts he is teaching. I especially appreciate how he describes the difference between going through life solving problems vs. having a vision of what it is you want and working toward that vision, "creating the life you long for."
I recommend this book for anyone wanting to figure out the direction for their life.

Great book.......2007-10-06
This is a great book. I first read it in the 70s and have reread it several times since. A lot of good lessons that we would do well to heed today.
Timeless advise.......2003-07-29
We own all of the books the Nearings wrote and this one is a gem. There are those who may think that what they did and wrote about from the 50's to the 70's has no bearings on todays world (2003) but nothing could be further from the truth. Their wisdom on building a stone home, organic garden, composting, and simply realizing that one doesn't need as much materialism as one may think is timeless. The book is out of print but you can buy used copies here on Amazon.com and I urge you to but a copy if you have the slightest interest in simple living, frugality, inner peace and tranquility, preventative health issues, healthy eating, a positive mindset to age one hundred or energy conservation.
Read this book.......2001-12-12
This is one of the best books I have ever read. If you can find a copy, get a hold of this book to learn about how these counter culturists lived their lives in health and peace. Some folks may believe that the Nearing's style is bolder than they are used to, and this is because these people did not sit in ivy towers writing theories, they lived their lives based on their principles, which is admirable in my eyes.

Book Description
Raising children ranks as one of life’s most rewarding adventures. Yet between Mom and Dad working full-time jobs, endless carpooling of overscheduled youngsters, and the never-ending pressures to buy and consume, family life can be incredibly—needlessly—complex. What if you could find a way to spend more time with your children, replace unnecessary activities with meaningful ones, and teach your children an invaluable life lesson in the process?
Living Simply with Children offers a realistic blueprint for zeroing in on the pleasures of family life:
• How (and why) to live simply and find more time to be with your children
• Activities and rituals that bring out the best in every family member
• Realistic ways to reclaim your children from corporate America
• Helping children of any age deal with peer pressure
• Raising kids who care about people and the planet
• How to focus on the “good stuff” . . . with less stuff
Including sections on limiting television, environmentally friendly practices, celebrating the holidays, and tapping into the growing community of families who embrace simplicity, this inspiring guide will show you how to raise children according to your own values—and not those of the consumer culture—as you enjoy both quality and quantity time with your family.
Customer Reviews:
Simply living..........2007-02-17
Apparently I should have read Your Money or Your Life instead. I was annoyed by the tenth reference in the the first 15 pages. I know it's a bit of an exaggeration but seriously it became ridiculous. In addition, I felt left short by her sampling of families that had "downshifted" She wrote that she was confident that there were families living off the grid ,involved in green building, etc. but she wasn't able to find them. What? She lives in Oregon, how far does one have to look? Lastly, despite all the resources (which were more halpful than the cumulative info in the book)at the end of each chapter the book was underdeveloped and a bit superficial.
You might want to read Your Money or Your Life instead..........2006-12-27
after all, it seems to be quoted multiple times in almost every chapter in this book. No wonder the co-author of YMOYL wrote the introduction! Honestly, this is a solid introduction to simplicity; unfortunately, it is hindered by too many references and quotes from Your Money or Your Life. There must be a better way to get across a point other than simply referencing another book (over and over and over). Amazon states that this book cites 72 other books within its pages -- I believe it.
Easy to Read, Helpful Information.......2005-07-29
In addition to purchasing several more philosophical texts on child-rearing, I bought this book hoping to get some basic ideas to promote simplicity in our family's life. This is a quick-read full of excellent ideas to pare down the influence of consumerism for our families. I plan to utilize a lot of the ideas in the book and to contact several of the resources listed. I give this 4 stars because it is VERY basic, but excellently written.
Much needed breath of fresh air.......2004-12-23
Thanks, Marie. What a wonderful book and gentle reminder of the most important things in life -- too many children are over consumers by the time they've even hit double digits. Your book is a welcome voice with helpful information for those of us interested in turning the tide against all of the consumer hype and the noise.
dull and unhelpful.......2004-11-25
I have a hard time believing that this author has children or has ever expereienced the company of children. Many of these tips are unrealistic, not just for the parent of older, self-entertaining children, but even more so for those with smaller children. It is unhelpful and frustrating to read, and I don't recommend buying it.

On Living Simply: The Golden Voice of John Chrysostom.......2007-07-16
The "timeless" and "insightful" words of St. John Chrysostom in this slim and easily accessible book are inspiring and instructive. Generosity of the rich and gratitude of the poor, war, marriage, hypocrisy of Christians, and even houses and furniture are among the many topics covered--each on less than a page.
St. John Chrysostom is "a man who knows and knows that he knows".
Early Christian Thought.......2006-03-12
Saint John Chrysostom was an early "corrector" of the Christian faith, in the same manner of Saint Francis of Asissi, but much earlier. He saw the "faith" getting "off-track" and used his considerable speaking and writing talents to attempt to get the church "back on-track".
The author has skillfully and faithfully condensed St. Chrysostom's volumous work into a short and meditative book. This book is for Christians and non-Christians in that the thoughts expressed are universal.
St. Chrysostom's faith and phylosophy from the 5th century are amazingly applicable and edifying to today's world.
Priceless Ancient Christian Wisdom.......2006-01-30
This is a collection of the writings and sermons of one of the early fathers of the ancient Christian Church. It emphasizes basic Christian beliefs and practices in an often surprising and insightful way needed to navigate todays world.
His writings on marriage, family and social discourse are almost frighteningly applicable to the 21st century. I have passed this book on to priests, monks and others who simply cannot be without it. I have had lay people thank me for the priceless insights into one of the Church's great minds of the 3rd and 4th century.
Perfect for those who love short clips.......2003-04-10
This is an excellent book for those with little time or who love "snippits". Each page has a title and an outtake from one of St. John's many homilies. Due to its concise nature, this book has been edited and paraphrased by the author (whom isn't an Orthodox Christian if that matters to you)... It is unknown, but hopped, that he kept most, if not all, of the original words and intent... Anyway, this is worth reading and carries some very pertinent advice on "Living Simply".
Timeless Simplicity.......2002-09-05
On Living Simply is a wonderful way to introduce yourself to the simple eloquence of St. John Chrysostom. His words illustrate his profound insight into life that is as applicable now as when it was origionally recorded in Late Antiquity. If you are interested in Patristic Christian thought or just in Ancient Wisdom, I highly recommend this book to you.

Good ideas but..........2007-09-15
I am both happy and not happy with this book. I purchased it hoping to find different ways to simplify my life. I found that I am already doing many of the suggestions and have already evaluated much of my life in the ways that the author suggested. This provided me with positive reinforcement that I am hopefully on a good path.
I think this would be a good book for someone just starting to evaluate their life or looking for a new approach.
I don't like the way the author seems critical of many choices people make in their lives and find many of her suggestions to be of no value to me and my life. I try to be friendly to the Earth and its inhabitants. I buy locally, recycle everthing possible, and generally try to be as respectful and mindful of my place and purpose in life.
It is neither practical nor feasable for me to sell my house and move to a pedestrian friendly city so I don't need to own a car or can share one with a neighbor.
I make no apologizes that I drive a SUV. My life more than occasionally requires this vehicle making renting one when I needed one financially stupid. If I didn't live in an area that was snow covered several months of the year perhaps I could ride a Vespa or have a "commuting car." However how is having more than one vehicle simplifying my life? If I didn't have co-workers perhaps bicycling to work would be possible. I can neither shower at the office I work at nor am I willing to carry a full change of clothing to put on after I arrive.
I am not going to opt out of health insurance on the hopes that I won't need it. Of course I hope I won't need it but I am not going to bet my finaicial future on it. My job may make me crazy but I can't see how its worse than perhaps incurring a huge medical bill and losing my home.
I value old friendships and keep a place in my life for those people who may not share my feelings on many issues. The value of a 27 year friendship far outweighs our political or social differences. Is it simplier to discard people who "complicate" my life or to find a way to fit them in?
In the end its all about the choices you make. Ms. Pierce does a good job of showing you do have control in ways you might not have considered. Just because I don't agree with some of her conclusions doesn't mean she is wrong in asking the questions.
Inspiring and essential reading for the conscious traveler..........2007-04-07
Embarking on the path of simplicity is simply one of the best things I've done in my entire life.
After years of accumulating more and more stuff, I reached a point where it didn't make any sense to keep accumulating more material possessions. More, was definitely not better. If you read the author's other excellent book, Choosing Simplicity, you will see how more people are choosing the so called path of 'voluntary simplicity'. About two years ago I started a long path of downsizing my life (I'm a Taurus... that loves material possessions and has attachments to much of it so I think that didn't help). I started with cutting back commitments, moved onto removing friends :) and then stuff... clothes, tapes, anything I didn't use frequently and then the most difficult and sacred... my books... including a huge personal development library. Other things, I've digitized (music, some books and the like) and I've never felt better and each round of decluttering, downsizing and simplifying and has gone deeper and deeper and created further impetus and desire for a more simpler life. I see it as a journey and an unfolding process. Some people will find it more easy than others, although it is accessible to anyone.
There many excellent books on decluttering and simplicity. This one of the better ones. Why? The author is well researched, lives the work herself and has provided a comprehensive guide and set of resources and activities to tackle in each area of your life. While you may be familiar with a good deal of the content, the book is useful in that it gives you a structure to conduct the process (including should you want to undertake the process with friends), is easy to read and follow and is inspiring. It's also holistic in that it considers all areas of your life and your relationship to others and the planet. More than that, it's written from the heart and a genuine desire to support people that choose this path. The book is divided into a series of lessons to deepen your awareness of all the areas in your life that simplicity can be applied and includes your home, spirituality, money, how you spend your time, community, family and friends and health and wellbeing. Many of the questions in this book will enable you to deeply reflect on your life and how you are using your time. Like other really good works, I've found that one little insight or practical application I've picked up can add major leverage in my life. For instance, I've noticed a substantial improvement in my life since getting rid of the TV. I've found that it is not missed and the constant stream of negativity that pervades the news is removed from my life which has greatly effected my wellbeing. There are many such powerful tools and reflections in this book.
The book contains excellent references to other resources and publications in the field for further reading or advice and templates in terms of money, time and others to enhance your awareness around these important areas so that you can begin to make conscious decisions. The external resources are excellent and include brief descriptions of why they are relevant. Also included is an extensive bibliography and guidelines for establishing a Simplicity Support Group.
This is an excellent book, that I am grateful to have read and I highly recommend it. If you are looking for further inspiration and practical examples of how people live this philosophy in different ways (and with vastly different contexts and approaches e.g. some with very little money, others who have substantial resources), I highly recommend the author's other book, Choosing Simplicity.

Zero In on Him
What would it mean to fix your attention fully on the Person of Christ? To approach Him apart from systems, formulas, religion, and well-meaning Christian culture? How would you be changed? Former Moody Bible College President Joseph Stowell shows through dramatic stories and surprising insights how you can experience significant life-change as you encounter Christ as never before. And as your relationship with Him flourishes, so will your love for the people around you—the manifestation of His heart in yours. A book intended for both spiritual seekers and believers who are ready for a fresh, personal encounter with the Savior.

Combines the Joseph Stowell favorites The Final Question of Jesus and Simply Jesus
You Need Jesus…
…and a good reputation. And a solid job. And a few friends. And some extra income…
“Ands” are distractions. Soon you’ve got it all—with Jesus buried in the middle. Meanwhile, His heart longs for a deeper relationship with you. Just you. Would you dare strip away the etceteras to focus in on Him once again?
Be prepared. If you answer yes, it won’t be about just the two of you under a beautiful sunset. Soon it’ll be about your spouse. Your boss. The grocery store clerk. Jesus’ love will overflow in you, affecting everyone in your life. So dive in. Draw near to Him and enjoy the etceteras He will bring you.
Story Behind the Book
Joseph Stowell’s Simply Jesus and The Final Question of Jesus are life-changers. They take a fresh look at themes familiar to the mature believer, and also captivate those who have not yet come to know Christ as their Savior. Simply Jesus and You carefully intertwines these two books whose messages go hand in hand. For readers who have not yet discovered the stand-alone books, or for Stowell fans eager to cherish their favorites in a new package, this book is sure to become a treasured classic.
Customer Reviews:
Amazing book!!!!.......2007-02-20
I've just finished this book. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get to know what it means to live your faith. It describes in such a wonderful way how to live an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. After all, Mr. Stowell is so correct. What else is there except Jesus Christ in the life of any Christian believer.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will probably re-read it. I couldn't put it down. It gets down to what it's all about.
Praise his Holy name!!!

Why is "Living Life! Anxiety and Stress Free" so effective?

Customer Reviews:
The best!!.......2007-08-25
I purchased 2 hypnosis and relaxation CD's through Amazon; "Eliminate TMJ and Teeth Grinding", by Scott Sulak and this one. The TMJ CD was a bust, but this CD was wonderful! I've been struggling with panic attacks and anxiety for 6 months now. After a 9 week bout with Paxil and several attempted "natural" remedies, what seems to work the best (for me) is good old fashioned cognitive therapy and this hypnosis CD. I do occasionally find myself falling asleep throughout this recording, but there is an insert that states you will still be able to subconsciously take in Trevor's suggestions. After 2 weeks, I feel less anxious and like I have some control over my worrying. This CD won't "cure" you overnight and I would suggest cognitive therapy in conjunction with, but I give this CD 5 stars as a place to start.
This is incredible!! .......2005-01-14
This CD "Living Life! Anxiety and Stress Free" is truly amazing!
I absolutely felt more relaxed and stressed free after listening to this CD. I cannot believe what a difference it made.I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Inspiration for the over-stressed.......2002-05-06
This is the type of book that makes you feel good just flipping through it. It is simple advice, nothing earth-shattering here, but sometimes when we lose sight of the important things, and get too caught up in the ultra-techno-bigger-better-faster of urban survival, we can forget what is real and important.
The author has put together a nice mixture of relaxation methods, bringing together the staples of deep-breathing, exercise, living-in-the-moment, and journalling, while introducing the more esoteric disciplines of Taoism, Feng Shui, and meditation.
This is not an in-depth study of the different methodologies, rather, the options are presented to the reader in the context of the different chapters, some of which are based on the different senses, and others being focussed on overcoming obstacles, such as fear. It is up to the reader to further investigate the different methods.
Buy this book, fix yourself a cup of herbal tea, and curl up on the porch swing with a blanket and a purring cat. You will feel better for it.
