The author does a great job of explaining the importance of placing a woman's pleasure before ones own. He also gives great advice on oral and manual stimulation. However, he completely dismisses the g-spot as well as female ejaculation, which is unfortunate in that it reduces his credibility as an expert on female sexuality. Lisa Douglass' book does a much better job of addressing that aspect of female sexuality.

A bit over-rated, this work is extremely thorough in mastering her oral pleasuring. I wouldn't, however, say that it presents anything that hasn't been discussed in other literature. The book has simply been packaged and promoted well. Fun for experimentation, but not as witty as some press outlets have led us to believe.

I really enjoyed this guide to sex for men. The premise is to basically allow/help your partner to orgasm first, that way you come in second, though this isn't a bad thing, far from it. The author really gives good advice, in detail without being too elusive or standoffish. A highly recommended read, along with Sex Machine: A Man's Guide to What Really Pleases a Woman in Bed.

This book is very relevant and current for teens. It is direct and accurate according to the Bible It is sometimes over the top and needs to take into account the reality of living in the real world, but I like that it puts the high standard out there.

I teach parenting classes for a Pregnancy center located in the lowerclass section of a large city. Many of our mom's are single and trying to raise their family without a lot of support from the fathers.They also din't have good role models in their own families while growing up.
I used this book as the topic for our Mother's Day luncheon. It gave them encouragement that they COULD make a difference! I also included the book, The Power of a Praying Parent..because they need God's help and guidance in raising their children.

This is, by far, my very favorite book on this subject matter that I have ever read. It has compelled me to write a review on it; I sent the link to my sister and friends and they all RAVED about it. More than anything, it has helped me to begin treating my "tiny husband" (as I used to think of him as) as a young man with a godly purpose to his life and doing it step-by-step this early on (he's 6)...which will help me to "let go" when God brings his wife to him someday. It will also allow him to "leave and cleave" to his wife in a healthy manner.
It has also helped me to begin truly loving his future wife and anticipating her arrival one day; I now pray more fervently for her.
My husband related to it so well, too. When I read to him that her husband's mother had been praying for her since she was a little girl, he actually choked up, as his mother died when he was a little boy. He's known that my mother always prayed for him - and I read that passage to him on his mother's birthday to let him know that he was never alone. We both now are treating our son in a manner to which he feels inspired to be a godly man, husband and father.

I am the mother of 4 sons. I wish I had read this book years ago when I was a young mother.
I am also a teacher of young kids and through the years I have seen a decline in respect among children.
This book had some really awesome ideas for how to totally bond with a son, beginning at a very young age.
It teaches how to show young boys how to respect women!!!!!!!
I am lucky that I had my 4th son later in life, so I did do things right with him. And what the book says is true...if you show boys how to behave, they will. My son is now almost 16 and to this day loves to spend time with me, even in front of his peers. He craves personal time and touch with his momma. I know he is going to grow into an awesome husband who will respect and love women.
So if you are a mother of boys, definately get this book. It would also make a wonderful baby gift to a new mom!!

I loved this book! This type of book was one that I had been looking for for a long time. I have a 14 year old son and also work for an organization that works with single moms. I am also ordering this book for my staff who have sons. I was feeling helpless since reading other books that put so much stress on dads being a part of their son's lives and leaving out what moms can do. I agree with dads being the important element in their son's lives 100 percent, but what about the son who doesn't have a father figure or whose father is not active in the son's life? This book gives helpful and easy information for any mom to understand and apply. I highlighted many things in my book so I have a quick reference when I slip up and stop encouraging my son like I want to be. It might be common sense to some moms but to some of the moms I know, this book will be great! It's an easy read, even for someone who doesn't care to read much.

Rose Sweet's book is one of the most helpful things I read after my own divorce became final. Since then I've become a family counselor specializing in divorce, so now I read many books on this topic. Pretty general - easy to read. Not a lot of substance to help you discover what really went wrong. My suggestion is another book called "Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends" by Dr. Bruce Fisher and Dr. Robert Alberti. That book will help you address the tough issues that will help you move on with life in a healthy way.

This book helped me so much. It is a comfort and a challenge. It explains all the things you go through with a divorce, even things you would not think of. It goes into things we hide from our own selves or just don't realize. One thing that is very touching and personal about this book is that at the begining of every chapter there is a love letter to you from God (based on scripture, of course) and at the end of every chapter is a comparison of what our fear tells us and what our faith tells us. This book truly can change your life if you are in the valley after a divorce (which most of us are). And the chapters are not long, so you can take it in little bits at a time, one issue at a time. This book is good even if you have been divorced for a long time. It shows you how to deal - in a Godly way and expresses God's love and forgiveness. I would recommend this book to anyone who is going through a divorce or has ever been through one.

Overcoming The "Heartbreak" My Review On Rose's Book.......2001-07-17
I have just finished reading "Healing the Heartbreak Of Divorce" by Rose Sweet. Being a divorcee myself, for 15 years now, I laughed, I cried, I sighed, and I was brought to awe by this wonderful, genius in writing of a book. Finally a book on divorce that is a must read instead of these ridiculous readings, "Divorce for Dumbells." I was brought back to a place in time that brought back all the memories of devastation, and heartache only to learn by reading this book, HOW FAR I HAVE COME! That is the gift that Rose Sweet gave to me in writing. Another gift given to me by reading this book, was a gift of spiritualism. Which I had lost and have now found. Chapter 14, "Understanding Why?' struck a nerve in me like no other nerve was ever stuck before in my life. Dealing with my own issues lately, before reading this book with my own "Why's" with God? This chapter hit me over the head! The giraffe story and the deserted island story, made it all so clear to me now, all of MY OWN "Why's" have now come to surface with peace of mind. I can now tell you all how soundly I slept after turning the last page of this incredible, INCREDIBLE, piece of work. Bravo to you Rose! Bravo to Us! Theatre Teachers: This Is What You Need.......2006-11-10
This book is formatted so easily, it took me MUCH less time than I thought it would to prepare a unit on reader's theatre for my class. I used it for my high school theatre class so they wouldn't have to concentrate on large vocabularies, but rather to deliver the story in a simple, easy way. It was a HUGE success of a project and this book made it possible. It tells you how long each story is, what cast you'll need, and what reading level it is!! Yay!!!
The stories themselves are entertaining (even for high school!!!), compelling, and really fun to work with. I am SO grateful I ordered this!

I read this book the day I got it in the mail. I had researched information on the Internet, but this book was more complete and it was nice to have it all in one place. The book has great information and I think every woman considering augmentation should read it. I would've given it 5 stars, but it was missing information about having mastopexy with augmentation. I wish it would've provided information on choosing the right implant with a mastopexy and discussed the incisions, recovery period, etc. I've read the other reviews and Dr. Tebbetts does seem to prefer anatomical implants. He also prefers the cohesive silicone gel implant which is available in clinical study in the US (used in Europe for over 10 years), but there is limited information on it in the book since it was written in 1999. Regarding the overfill warranty issue that some of the other reviews mentioned, I've read in other places that Mentor has a recommended range of fill. The minimum fill for a 300cc saline implant would be 300cc and the maximum would be 325cc. Both overfill and underfill void the warranty. Overfill would be above 325cc and underfill would be below 300cc. I'm not sure if Inamed/McGhan has a similar range or not. I'm also not sure if the minimum fill would leave room for a fold. Maybe the information in the book is outdated. I'm not a PS and this is a question I'll ask at all my consultations. (Dr. T includes this on his list of questions to ask your PS.) I'm scheduling consultations with surgeons and hoping to have surgery in the next few months.
Good choice-Book and Doctor.......2005-07-17
I read this extremely comprehensive book, and I went to Dr. Tebbetts for my BA consultation. Dr. Tebbetts, his wife and the entire staff, treated me like I was their most important patient, and at the time, I was only 21 years old. After reading his book, I realized I had to have a reduction/reconstruction on one side, due to a congenital deformity. Dr. Tebbetts performed the surgery in less than an hour, and I had absolutely no complications. I have to say the surgery didn't hurt a bit, and every time I go in for my annual woman's examination, doctors and nurses comment on my wonderful results (as far as the shape and minimal scarring). In fact, they always ask me who performed my surgery, and I tell them about Dr. Tebbetts and his book. I moved away and became too busy with my career to get the second surgery (actual BA). Now, seven years later, I'm ready to finish enhancing my bust line. I wouldn't dream of going to anyone other than Dr. Tebbetts.
Detailed necessary info!.......2005-06-10
I have read many books and done extensive research on implantation of saline and silicone for 30 yrs and advise many women. This book is INVALUABLE in its tips, diagrams and plain facts, especially about getting LARGE implants, implant overfill, pocket placement and the wearing of those nasty "breast bands" post op when the implant is inserted too high (something at least 1/2 seem to do!)
Read the book! Many of the Hollywood stars would benefit from reading it before they have a implants and would hopefully save them from that very fake look with breasts spaced so far apart they look like bolted on rocks.
Many women who have researched extensively still probably don't know the tips in this book. Then head to any PS armed with good info.
NOT THE BEST.......2004-09-16
This book has a clear bias towards anatomical implants. Further, the font and formatting has bold and centered text throughout the book, which makes for difficult reading. Most of the information you can get for free from the web.
Furthermore, don't expect to actually get surgery done by Dr. Tebbetts without suffering through his very rude wife, Terrye. She was, by far, the most condescending person I have spoken regarding surgery. Her response to questions was "Can't you read. Everything you need to know is in the book."
Both the book and the office proved to be disappointing.

I don't know about anyone else, but I got tired of feeling like they are speaking to me as if I'm a dumb blond. Page after page of exclamation points and bold, 30 pitch fonts drove me nuts!
I received this book free because I had set up a consultation with their office (phone consult). I spoke with Terrye- who is not even a plastic surgeon , rather the wife of the plastic surgeon- who was very rude and snide.
I think there are probably better books out there on the subject that will speak to you on an INTELLIGENT level and not assume that because you desire implants that you are some uneducated person who can't read and comprehend some medical terminology.

I never fully understood the mystery of pap smears, and I was never really sure that I could trust the results (happily, always negative). This book fleshed out my understanding of paps, and answered the many questions I have had about them but never could quite articulate to my doctor. Further, little did I realize the significant link between sexually transmitted viruses and diseases and their potential, long-term effects until I read this book. I am much better informed now.

This is really a great book for men. It teaches you some basic techniques that will make a big difference in the bedroom...or wherever. I hear the author also wrote a book about how to satisfy a man everytime but I don't see how that can be anymore than 1 page. ba boom ching

For decades I have recommended the "How to Satisfy a Woman" book to men and women whose marriages are floundering and as a result it has made me a hero. The book saved many families. I call the effect Hayden's book has, powerful. Yes, there's a goofy, 'apologetic' girl talk tone in it, but sex is not an easy subject to talk about -- it's scary for women to talk to men about their sexuality and i congratulate her for sharing her wisdom despite her obvious embarrassment.
In this age, when the majority of the men in our country have been circumcised and have lost the soft mucosal tissue, the prepuce, that allows them to naturally be in synch with a woman, it's invaluable to read this little book. It helps us all learn a different way of moving than the mechanical 'in and out' that chafes and apparently doesn't work for a lot of American women.
I talk with men daily who express grief due to having been sexually altered and the difficulties they have maintaining happy sexual relationships with women. So another book i recommend is "The Joy of Uncircumcising" by Jim Bigelow. The good news is, men can regain what they lost.
And the other good bit of news is that they can learn "How to Satisfy a Woman" even now. They can use what they have as if they have it all, even before they grow their skin back.
There's a reason why Europeans have a reputation for being great lovers -- they simply were not altered with knives -- they have, luckily for then, retained all their vital moving parts.

Although the book was well written and somewhat entertaining, it wasn't what I was expecting. Rather than being a manual filled with "techniques" it is more about the psychology of why men pay to see escorts. If you are interested in that, then this book is a very good one. If you are looking for detailed "how-too's" its not.

I did not see the kind of detail I would expect from an escort with 18 years experience. You would expect that she could fill the book with remarkable anecdotes. Instead she will give examples of her husband's behavior! She talks about men who are ignorant and need advice about how to please a woman in bed. Her clients are all in love with their wives! It is quite a dull book of very banal sexual advice from a conventional woman's perspective. I am concerned if women should try to understand men using the author's "experience". Men will simply be bored.
