The Abundance Book.......2007-09-02
Great read...puts things in perspective on where money really comes from...
Thanks
What A Powerful Book.......2007-06-27
What a powerful book this is and yet a quick read. Simple yet very in-depth. I am well into the 40 days, and when I missed one day near the beginning, I did start over. There is an energy that is created and maintained throughout the 40 day period, and it is a practice that needs to become a daily habit. I am an avid student and teacher of the Law of Attraction and Prosperity Thinking, and a Prosperity Guide and Life Management Coach. This book is a must read. It should be a staple in the library of every LOA student and teacher. I am part of a small group, and we are doing this program together, and we are having amazing results. I am thrilled with this little powerful book.
Good Book CD Good Supplement.......2007-06-17
One should be familar with new thought principles before getting this book unless your not someone with an over intellectual mind then I would say jump right into this book. Its a part of my library for sure, but it will involve the reader doing research and learning of the various ideas presented here. Bottom-line if you want to demonstrate prosperity this is a good book, but be prepared to do some additional research.
I enjoy the CD and use it on occasion.
Usually a change within 10 days..........2007-05-25
As Las Vegas' own Mystic Mona, I have purchased this book time and again (because I keep giving it away). Whenever I feel stuck on an issue, I turn to either The Abundance Book or The Superbeings (depending on the challenge). This book IS "The Secret" to creating a lifestyle of interest, purpose, awareness, compassion and of course, abundance. I recommend these two books frequently on my radio program Psychic View, heard on [...] live each Sunday evening from 7pm to 9pm (Pacific Time Zone).
Changed My Beliefs About Abundance.......2007-05-17
I read this book a few years ago and have given it as gifts to quite a few people. John Randolph Price is one of my favorite authors and I have read many of his books.
I finally decided to write here what I have been "telling" people since reading this book. It truly changed my life!
The meditations/affirmations in this book are to be done for at least 40 days straight. I have to say, it took me more than the 40 days, but I began to see miracles in my life. I too, had been taught that to be poor was okay and people who had money were "evil" so to speak.
I did the meditations and started to not only have miracles, but my whole spiritual life was changed in the process. At the time I read the book, I had just relocated to another state was looking for a job. The first job I landed paid 40% more than the one I left! I knew it was because I began to believe that I deserved more, therefore, I had more. Over time, other things happened in my life too (too many to name here). I will only say that I have grown by leaps and bounds and ALWAYS expect miracles.
In order to change our thinking/beliefs, it must be a practice; something done daily and integrated into our lives. We as a society are so busy but wouldnt it be worth it to meditate for 15 minutes a day and focus on ourselves? I am grateful that I found this book and intend to continue to use it whenever I feel drawn to do so.
An Avid John Randolph Price fan!

Jacob Jankowski says: "I am ninety. Or ninety-three. One or the other." At the beginning of Water for Elephants, he is living out his days in a nursing home, hating every second of it. His life wasn't always like this, however, because Jacob ran away and joined the circus when he was twenty-one. It wasn't a romantic, carefree decision, to be sure. His parents were killed in an auto accident one week before he was to sit for his veterinary medicine exams at Cornell. He buried his parents, learned that they left him nothing because they had mortgaged everything to pay his tuition, returned to school, went to the exams, and didn't write a single word. He walked out without completing the test and wound up on a circus train. The circus he joins, in Depression-era America, is second-rate at best. With Ringling Brothers as the standard, Benzini Brothers is far down the scale and pale by comparison.
Water for Elephants is the story of Jacob's life with this circus. Sara Gruen spares no detail in chronicling the squalid, filthy, brutish circumstances in which he finds himself. The animals are mangy, underfed or fed rotten food, and abused. Jacob, once it becomes known that he has veterinary skills, is put in charge of the "menagerie" and all its ills. Uncle Al, the circus impresario, is a self-serving, venal creep who slaps people around because he can. August, the animal trainer, is a certified paranoid schizophrenic whose occasional flights into madness and brutality often have Jacob as their object. Jacob is the only person in the book who has a handle on a moral compass and as his reward he spends most of the novel beaten, broken, concussed, bleeding, swollen and hungover. He is the self-appointed Protector of the Downtrodden, and... he falls in love with Marlena, crazy August's wife. Not his best idea.
The most interesting aspect of the book is all the circus lore that Gruen has so carefully researched. She has all the right vocabulary: grifters, roustabouts, workers, cooch tent, rubes, First of May, what the band plays when there's trouble, Jamaican ginger paralysis, life on a circus train, set-up and take-down, being run out of town by the "revenooers" or the cops, and losing all your hooch. There is one glorious passage about Marlena and Rosie, the bull elephant, that truly evokes the magic a circus can create. It is easy to see Marlena's and Rosie's pink sequins under the Big Top and to imagine their perfect choreography as they perform unbelievable stunts. The crowd loves it--and so will the reader. The ending is absolutely ludicrous and really quite lovely. --Valerie Ryan
Book Description
Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It’s the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. There he meets the freaks, grifters, and misfits that populate this world. He introduces us to Marlena, beautiful star of the equestrian act; to August, her charismatic but twisted husband (and the circus’s animal trainer); and to Rosie, the seemingly untrainable elephant Jacob cares for. Beautifully written, with a luminous sense of time and place, Water for Elephants tells of love in a world in which love’s a luxury few can afford.
Customer Reviews:
A pleasant surprise.......2007-10-22
This book was chosen by my book group and I was a bit skeptical about how good it could be - a book about circus performers and animals? Well, I couldn't put it down and loved every page. I enjoyed the way it went back and forth between the present and past and the way the characters developed. There was no sugar coating or romanticizing the "circus life" yet you understood the attraction it had for everyone, from the performers and workers to the townspeople who flocked to see it. Even the cruelty and violence felt authentic and fit with what I've heard about the Depression era. I'm looking forward to discussing this book - it should be very interesting!
Two tales, both sweet and gritty, with endings that are a complete surprise.......2007-10-22
Were it not for the tantalizing action captured in the prologue, I might not have read past page 7 of this book. Two tales are interwoven, one of the writer as a 93-year-old in a present day nursing home, the other of the writer as a 24-year-old runaway, in the 1930's, who accidentally joins a circus.
The old man's story begins the book and the accurate portrayal of the patronizing, impersonal, falsely cheerful care that the elderly often receive is what nearly stopped me from reading further. I did NOT want to read about the miseries of life in nursing homes, even if the story was amusing and well told. Luckily for me the prologue, the excellence of the writing and, I admit, even the old man's story, kept me reading and let me get past the depressing details of the limited life of a 93 year old to enjoy the rest of the book.
If you love animals and or circuses you will be swept up in this book. It is a charming, suspenseful, action-filled, violent, sexy, historically genuine, loving, soft-hearted, heart-breaking, and heart-warming book. I really enjoyed and recommend it.
A Great & Entertaining Book.......2007-10-20
I had been wanting to read this for awhile, so I finally ordered it from Amazon. I was not disappointed! The story was wonderful, uplifting, and bittersweet. Gruen's research on circus history added much to an already entertaining plot.
This is another book my 14-year-old son read after I did. There are some graphic parts though, so use your own judgment before you pass it on to your kids.
Enjoy!
Water For Elephants.......2007-10-20
Don't write it off due to the bizarre circus setting, Water For Elephants is a must-read for anyone.
Great book, easy read.......2007-10-20

Training.......2007-06-14
It is no news that this is one of the best training books for upland game that has ever been written. You may disagree with Wolters but you can never say his methods dont work. This is my number one resource for training my dogs.
Gun Dog: Revolutionary Rapid Training Method.......2007-05-09
Succinct, easy instructional read that works. I am 2 weeks in to training a new pup via the book and he is responding positively. It had been 13 years since doing this and the book is helping us both.
Dog Training for Beginners.......2007-04-12
Learn the phases your dog goes through as he ages, and then learn how to use those phases to your own advantage in your training.
Easy read.......2007-01-12
It does a good job of expaining the basics of how to get the dog to understand or you to understand the dog. I agree with almost all of his tactics or methods. This book or one like it is a MUST HAVE for a new trainer or handler.
Learning Phases of the Dog........2007-01-10
Wolters book describes the learning phases that dogs go through based on the age of the dog. The research on how dogs learn was completed in the 1950s and is just as correct today as ever. Great descriptions of what, how and when to train are accompanied by hundreds of photos illustrating the steps. The two Weimaraners I have trained with Wolter's method are wonderful. While other hunters may be hunting for their dogs mine are busy hunting birds for me. I have purchased this book for several of my friends who's dogs also turned out great.
Book Description
Empowerment is not about giving power to people but releasing the power people already have. So say the authors of Empowerment Takes More Than a Minute. Now more than ever, organizations are maximizing their effectiveness by tapping their most vital resource -- the talents of their employees.
This book presents a game plan for empowering employees by defining three essential keys: sharing information, creating autonomy through boundaries, and replacing hierarchy with teams. Revised throughout, this edition uses more contemporary examples and language to address concerns specific to younger employees.
Customer Reviews:
Another Powerful Parable.......2003-03-21
If the authors are right about how they defined `empowerment' and the three essential keys for achieving true empowerment, then leaders, managers, and employees of all organizations should read, discuss, and decide to apply this easy-to-read book's lessons. I am convinced this book has the potential to lead organizations to unheard of levels of effectiveness and productivity.
In typical Ken Blanchard fashion, the authors taught their important lessons through a logical and believable fictional story based on their years of research and experience. The story "guides readers step-by-step through one manager's struggle to discover the three essential keys to empowerment. By following the manager's odyssey to the Land of Empowerment, readers discover that they can take the same journey, which, like any heroic journey, is filled with paradox, challenge, and fitful stops and starts."
The authors defined empowerment as not giving power to people, but releasing the knowledge, experience, and motivation they already have. They then identified and explained the three essential keys for achieving true empowerment:
1. Share information with everyone
2. Create autonomy through boundaries
3. Replace hierarchical thinking with self-managed teams
These simple definitions are deceptively powerful when teamed with patience and persistence. I found the title of this book was most appropriate.
From my experience, the term `empowerment' is frequently spoken, largely misunderstood, and rarely applied to its maximum extent. This book took the mystery out of the concept of empowerment and left me with a great appreciation for what true empowerment is and how it can be achieved. I am excited about what it could release in me and others who read it.
Highly Recommended!.......2001-11-16
The author of The One Minute Manager switches gears and tells you not to manage your employees minute-by-minute. Instead, Ken Blanchard, along with John P. Carlos, and Alan Randolph, advocates and explains the notion of empowerment - giving your employees the information and authority to act and make decisions on their own, within a structured set of organizational goals and values. Presented as the story of a turnaround manager getting tutored by an empowerment mentor, the book establishes the fundamentals of the (now ubiquitous) theory of empowerment in a conversational and enjoyable style. We [...] recommend this quick, informative read, which will expand your management horizons in only a few short minutes.
Easy to read and put into practice........2000-01-09
If you are a new manager or a manager with outdated skills, this novel little book will have an absolutely positive impact if you follow the simple three keys to success. The book is based on a story of a real or contrived (who knows) manager and his adventure in discovering the importance of empowerment and why his technics have failed with his employees. Within the first week of reading this book, I used one of the exercises that was recommended. This simple exercise showed me that my employees are infact on track to becoming empowered. If your employees are struggling to complete everyday work because of a motivational problem instead of an ability problem, this book will show you how to get your team to respond. After you read this book, you may discover that the problem is supervisory and not employee related. However, this read gave me ideas of how to correct both!
Another Blanchard success.......1999-11-01
As usual, I am never disappointed by Ken Blanchard's books and tapes. The subject of empowerment is brought home successfully and I walked away from this easy read with more insight than before.
I also suggest a related top-selling book that has as one of its themes empowerment: "The Leader's Guide: 15 Essential Skills"
A definant necessity.......1999-08-08
This is a very easy read. The format was entirely different than I expected and initially I was unimpressed. The format proved extremely useful and made the book simple to reference

Book Description
The natural expression of the angels is Truth. If we deny the truth, we repress the energy of the angels. But when we fully accept the eternal verities of life, the angels go to work to bring everything up to the divine standard....
Within each one of us dwell the twenty-two angels, centers of Living Energy that provide us with all we need to sustain us on our journey through life. They await only our readiness.
However, the angels require our assistance to manifest changes in our lives. They are able to free us from disease and death, loneliness and unfulfillment, lack and limitation only when we free them. And so the author of the bestselling The Angels Within Us has written this book to help us set free the positive vibrations of these inner archetypes and their "nothing-is-impossible" energy.
Through meditations, affirmations, exercises, dialogues with the twenty-two angels, and true stories of the miracles and transformations wrought by them, he helps us liberate the power of the Divine within so that we can:
* Awaken our higher consciousness
* Heal the past
* Communicate with angels awake and dreaming
* Find our right livelihood
* Enjoy prosperity
* Open ourselves to physical healing
* Find fulfillment in our relationships
* Surrender to unconditional love
* And much more
Our angels are the very law of our being. This remarkable book helps us to connect and flow with their universal rhythm of wholeness, to become who and what we really are.

One Of THE BEST Angel Books ever written.......2007-03-23
This just may be the greatest 'angel' book ever written. It came to me at a time when I thirsted for information about the 'why's' of life. Why do so-called bad thngs happen to good people? Why do the good die young? Why do little children get cancer if it is "a choice" as new aged philosophies alude to? I read every appropriate book I could get my hands on, and as the proprietor of an angel store I had plenty to get my hands onto. This book, and Price's, Super Beings, are my top two choices from all the hundreds of books I've devoured.
A Splendid Book.......2001-10-26
This book helped me to open myself to healing energies that already are within me.
Book Description
THE ANGELS WITHIN US shows how to pinpoint your own trouble spots, discover which angel waits beyond reach, and ask it for guidance. In a step-by-step process that includes meditations, practical exercises, and examples of angelic conversations experienced by the author and others, you will meet the Angel of Unconditional Love and Freedom, catalyst of all angels. You will then learn about the twenty-one other angels whose energies are attuned to such realms as: Illusion and Reality; Creative Wisdom; Abundance; Power and Authority, and more.
THE ANGELS WITHIN US guides you to that exalted and natural existence where you can be as cosmically whole, vibrant, strong, and free as you were created to be.
Customer Reviews:
Fantastic book.......2007-09-05
I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in contacting their angels or archetypes. It has been extremely helpful for me.
A TRUE angel book of Substance.......2007-05-15
This is one of the first, and still among the best, of the angel books I've read over the past 3 decades. John Randolph Price has a true grasp on spirituality, and has a way of presenting a subject once ridiculed as "new-aged mumbo-jumbo" with authority, finesse, believability, and an honest understanding. This is a great book for anyone that believes in the presence of angels. I give it a 7+! As propritor of an angel store, and author of Blessings in the Mire I have had access to any title of so called new aged literature for many years, have read more books than I can ever count on the subject of angels. Truly, John Randolph Price is one of the best voices of the many singing praises to the angels.
Angels Within Us.......2006-08-06
Angels Within Us is a profound book to develop englightenment for every reader. I use it to develop Angel NUMEROLOGY for what your soul wanted to learn on this trip to Earth. John Randolph Price provides strategies for your SOUL to evolve and to achieve its Divine purpose in this lifetime. A must read for everyone on their Spiritual Path.
Saved my life.......2004-02-26
I was going through, what at the time was the toughest episode of my life. I was at a book store waiting on a friend. I was walking up and down the isles full of anxiety and stress, when this book caught my eye. Without thinking, I picked it up and started reading, I haven't put the book down sense. It is worn and old now. It has changed my way of thinking like I have never thought possible and opened up my life to a new more joyful experience. Thank you Mr. Randolph Price. The Angels in your book saved me from making a left turn instead of a right one at a very critical point in my life. At the time I had no job, two small children and was afraid I was about to lose everything and was drowning into a depression. I am now aware of the angels company and their service. I now have a wonderful career and new tools for dealing with new challenges., I make great money and bought a new beautiful home for my beautiful children. I always credit this book for saving me. For being the tool that God used when I wasn't able to listen to her any other way.
This is a powerful book.. . ........2003-07-17
It isn't often that I am so strongly "led" to a book, but I kid you not - I felt 'wings' fluttering, couldn't get the title image out of my mind, and saw a colorful light emerging from this book when I opened the cover almost seven years ago. I still actively work with this book today. This is a powerful teaching book based on esoteric traditions throughout the ages. Each angel is introduced as a timeless vortex of energy with corresponding archetypes from the tarot and ancient mythology, and the author guides you through the process of meeting each angel with a meditation. Manly P. Hall is qoted, as is the Bible, which would normally turn me off. However the amazing energy shifts that can occur by using the meditations in this book speak for themselves. Any description of this book really can't do the experiential results justice. If you feel drawn to this title, go for it. The vibrations are very esoteric and can feel alien to your everyday mind, but just EASE into it, and you will learn exciting techniques for altering your consciousness (for the better) and working with powerful angelic energies. And oh yeah, it added an amazing new dimension to my tarot readings, too.

It's a lot easier for the layperson to tell when a fellow human is feeling poorly than it is to understand the inner workings of a cat. For one thing, people use words to tell you what hurts and when it started. And for another thing, we, as fellow people, have a little insight into what's healthy human behavior and what isn't. When the toddler cries and then vomits lunch, we sense something's not right, even if the child can't verbalize the problem. But when your cat brings up a hairball, does that mean she is ill? When your cat meows, it's hard to know if it means "Hey, pet me," or "I feel rotten."
To know when cats are acting oddly, you need to know what normal is. The Veterinarians' Guide to Your Cat's Symptoms starts off describing a healthy cat body, from skin, hair, eyes, ears, and teeth to the inner workings of the cardiovascular, digestive, urinary, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems. This picture of feline health is followed by a chapter on how to keep those systems healthy, with advice on choosing a veterinarian, plus vaccinations, spaying and neutering, nutrition, and litter boxes.
Part 2 does an excellent job of covering accidents, medical emergencies, and diseases that could threaten your cat. This section discusses broken bones, burns, and poisoning; conditions such as hypoglycemia, pneumonia, seizures, and pyometra; as well as infectious and parasitic diseases. For each, it tells you what to look for in your cat and when to dash off to the veterinary hospital for emergency treatment. There's a chapter on feline first aid, as well.
And if you suspect your kitty isn't up to snuff but aren't sure? Part 3 is where you can ensure that your cat's behavior is normal, with more than 130 common feline symptoms and flow charts explaining how to interpret them. Associated signs, possible conditions, and recommended actions are listed for each symptom. Perhaps your cat is showing signs of depressed appetite, with difficulty breathing and possibly coughing as well. These could be signs of cardiac disease, pneumonia, or even lung cancer, and a trip to the emergency clinic for x-rays is strongly suggested. On the other hand, maybe your cat is eating wool. The chart says this condition (termed Wool Eater, a form of compulsive behavior) is not unusual for Siamese cats, but could lead to vomiting or intestinal obstruction; the recommended action is to put the wool out of kitty's reach, and maybe see a veterinarian for behavior-modification medication. Symptoms such as depression and lethargy are treated in depth, as are diarrhea, gagging, lameness, nasal discharge, and various sorts of vomiting.
With appendices that list congenital defects and disorders, poisonous household products, and a glossary of veterinary medical terms, this is a remarkably useful reference for anyone who loves cats. --Stephanie Gold

Basic Guide, Helpful for Quick Reference.......2006-03-27
I was pleased with the covering of information about normal cat behavior and normal cat functions--so as to better determine such with my own cats. However, the book is not comprehensive in its covering of abnormalites of feline health. I do like that it lists little icons next to various symptoms and diseases referring to the urgency of the situation. This book is a nice base covering of information to know about your cats in general, and for several problems that might arise over their life span.
Good overall book........2003-07-25
This book really helped us out because we thought our cat was not only crazy, but also sick. Sick and crazy is a bad combo. Turned out she just had allergies and typical cat spaz behavior. The book goes in depth to let you know what is going on with your pet so you don't have to shell out the big bucks to a vet. If you do have to go to a vet for something you can help them pinpoint the problem much quicker if you have done some research using the book beforehand.
Worth the money if you own cats.
ONE OF THE BEST IF YOU NEED HELP FOR YOUR CAT BUDDY.......2002-08-14
.
I read everything I could find at the local library concerning diagnosis of symptoms displayed by my cat. The technical books in the library were useless because of the plethora of technical terms that the average layman like me hasn't a clue on the meaning of. Also, the organization, or should I say lack of organization, of the other books made them tedious to follow. Many references and cross-references ad infinitum. I had to tease out answers to simple questions and, even then, didn't fully understand the points they were trying to make. I've had cats for most of my life and thought I was an expert, but I was stumped and worried about my little friend's symptomatic behavior. I needed help, and fast.
Five minutes with the guide to symptoms by Garvey, et al, answered my immediate question and led to a quick solution. The book is filled with well rendered drawings that illustrate and complement the text. The people who put this book together obviously know cats intimately and understand cat behavior. The writing is easy to understand and to the point. It also explains the "whys" behind the facts. The table at the back is both comprehensive and easy for the average reader to understand. This is a book to be USED, not just read.
No book is perfect but this one comes close and gave me what I needed. ....I'm totally satisfied with it.
Good, but!.......2001-09-10
This is exactly what we expected it to be: A very helpful listing of symptoms/signs your pet could be displaying and what to make of it.
One major drawback of the volume is a political one: We are happy to live in a country decidedly more civilized where the surgical removal of a cat's claws is simply illegal. We could have well done without any advice regarding this disgusting notion: I mean if you are fonder of your furniture than of a living (pet or no) animal, then please get more furniture, not more pets...
Excellent reference. Contains much valuable information........1999-09-23
The unique chart form in the second half of this book provides cat ownerns with an invaluable quick reference when a cat is ailing. My cats, like most, often do not complain when they are not feeling well, and I must figure out what's wrong. This is an excellent, helpful guide.

Adopting the "decision chart" format from popular symptom guides for human ailments, such as the American Medical Association's Guide to Your Family's Symptoms and Take Care of Yourself, five leading veterinarians have designed a user-friendly chart system that will guide a pet owner from noting the symptom and observing the dog's behavior to understanding the associated signs of an illness, the possible conditions, and the best steps to take. Filled with more than two hundred charts in an easy-to-follow two-color format and medical drawings, The Veterinarians' Guide to Your Dog's Symptoms is the indispensable reference for dog owners. It not only considers the problems of sick and injured pets, but also addresses the needs of healthy animals. It has all the information a dog owner needs:
¸ What a healthy dog should look like
¸ Flow charts to the 150 most common symptoms
¸ Training and behavior issues, such as housebreaking and aggression
¸ Emergency first aid, including how to apply bandages and create
a makeshift muzzle
¸ A glossary of veterinary diagnostic tests and medical terms
With this unique combination of medical information and advice, plus an innovative chart system, The Veterinarians' Guide to Your Dog's Symptoms will enable pet owners to help their dogs live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Good basic book........2007-05-29
This book is a nice basic guide to figuring out symptoms with your dog. Easy to find symptoms & to understand. A good book to have in your addition along with other dog books one may have.
very useful.......2006-01-17
If you read all the reviews, you will see that one misguided person entered a low ranking 4 times to unfairly negatively impact the results. (It appears that that person may be a self-styled expert, but not a veterinarian.) Other reviews attest to how useful a book like this can be.
Quick answers to urgent questions.......2005-03-18
Other veterinary guides to canine health are more comprehensive, but this one is perfect for those times when you need to know something right away. The chapters are organized broadly by symptom; within each chapter, charts enable you to quickly determine 1) the possible cause(s) of your dog's problem and 2) if this is a condition that needs immediate or eventual vet care. The information is organized to help you narrow the field of possible conditions by evaluating associated symptoms. A previous reviewer has apparently tried to decrease the overall rating of this book by submitting their negative review repeatedly, an unfair practice in itself, but I think the reveiw itself is off base as well. Many conditions are described as non-urgent, and for those, useful home remedies are suggested. (The remedies I've tried work.) This book doesn't offer in-depth information on canine illnesses or disorders, but it is very helpful as a first-aid, first-place-to-look resource. It's possible that there are better guides out there--I haven't read them all. But this is the best one I've seen for quickly answering the questions, What do my dog's symptoms mean? and Do I need to see the vet?
One of the Must Haves!!.......2004-12-06
This book is a great reference for any owner and is so easy to use. It has saved me a couple trips to the emergency animal centers in the middle of the night. It is written simply to help you know what you can handle and what is a true emergency to take to the vet. If your looking for a more indepth explanation to different diseases and illnesses this isn't an encycolpedia of information, but if you want something that you can easily look up a symptom or multiple symptoms in chart form with a simple solution this is it! It is also wonderful that it tells you what breeds of dogs are prone to what problems to give you a better picture of what could be happening to your dog. Just last week my dog was sneezing very labored and constant and after 10 minutes he wouldn't stop and you could clearly see he was starting to panic but I could see nothing was in his nose but he kept on. After 15 minutes we knew something was wrong he was pacing, and wouldn't calm down and since it was 11:00pm we would have to drive a 1/2 hour to the emergency animal hospital so we had decide something quick. My husbend remembered this book and he looked it up and he had what was called reverse sneezing and it said to give him wet food. We did and he stopped sneezing almost immediately. Just this morning my friend called me to say her dog was lame and had a fever and asked me to look it up and see what this book had said about it. I can't tell you enough how wonderful a book this is!

Meditate & Create.......2007-05-09
I'm about 2 weeks into this 40 Day Prosperity Plan, using the CD version of the book. Initially, I loved to listen while I walked on the otherwise dull treadmill, or as I relaxed in the tub. That's how it all began. NOW, I am so immersed that I meditate each morning and evening, and I have fully begun to really understand the concepts. It will possibly take me the full 40 days, and that's okay, because I really am becoming addicted to the soothing sound of JRP's voice. It does, however, make good sense to buy the written version so that the meditations are easier memorized and meditated upon. The biblical references were something I needed to adjust to, considering myself non-denominational. However, that was easily rectified as I claim my own definition of God Source. I'll check back once my 40 days are up and let you know how the program is working for me. Thanks Price, for another priceless package. I thoroughly enjoyed the Super Beings years ago. And it looks as if this 40 Day Prosperity Plan is another winner! Blessings in the Mire
Hey, it works!.......2006-02-23
John Randolph Price knows things that most people do not know. The best thing about the 40 Day Prosperity Plan is that one does not have to fully understand it for it to work. I keep mine playing in my car cd player all the time and my finances just keep getting better and better. Gradually, I am understanding more and more of the high concepts that he shares. Thank you, JRP!
I must be a little naive..........2005-12-10
I was not familiar with John Randolf Price before buying this CD and if I had known what I was buying I would have passed. No where on the front cover or on his book "The Abundance Book" does it tell you that it is a scripture based program. I was taken a little by surprise with all of the bible references and call me naive but I was not expecting that. I listened to the CD a couple of times and there are some good ideas but with so much bible reference it was not really for me. None of the printed material pointed to the content being scripture based and personally I think it should have been presented in a more straightforward way on the packaging.
Prosperity Plan.......2005-07-27
Very informative with high energy...The kind of exercise I have been looking for.
A Plan for Miracles.......2004-07-03
The 40-day Prosperity Plan has completely changed my life. I am now on my 4th round and I am constantly experiencing miraculous abundant changes and events in my life. When I started this program in February of 2004, I was skeptical. However, I persevered, and just before the first round 40-day period ended, I got a new job that is extremely creative and pays well. During the second round, I contracted to build a house, which, before I began this program, I'm sure would never have been possible. It was as if the pieces of the puzzle all fell into place....as if the universe was orchestrating everything to perfectly arrange for this to occur.During my third round, I got a refund for a used car that was a lemon-- one that I purchased from a dishonest car dealer 8 months ago. This was truly miraculous because, at first, the owner of the dealership lied and told me he would refund my money, only to deny that he had said that. I meditated on the Source within for several days and eventually I was effortlessly led to people who advocated on my behalf. Finally he relented, refunded me all of the money I put down on the car and all of the payments I had made over the past 8 months. Then I turned around and purchased a new car for less money down and a lower monthly payment. So,once again, the universe orchestrated all of the "details" effortlessly. The most important lesson that I have learned doing this plan, is perhaps that not only can I acquire material things, but that by constantly acknowledging the Power within to solve my problems, I can have true peace of mind. I highly recommend this plan for anyone who is disciplined and committed to changing his or her life and realizing a powerful relationship with God. It REALLY works.

I'm reordering this book.......2007-08-10
This was the first book I ever brought on the subject of getting the things you really want out of life - that was about 20 years ago.
The pages were falling apart and now I think I lost the book, so I will be ordering another one.
As with any book one must follow though with this books suggestions on deliberately attracting what you want in life.
We can all be Superbeings, but this is not a weekend job.
Buy this book and make it part of your library.
A Quote to Live By.......2007-07-26
There is a quote from this book that I have printed, framed, and have hanging on my office wall. I believe this says it all: "If one seeks to understand the whole universe, he will unerstand nothing at all. But if one strives to understand himself, then he will come to understand the whole universe."
This book will help you understand.
Are YOU a SuperBeing?.......2007-03-21
I LOVE this tiny little paperback book, and it shows! The SuperBeings caused this reader to consciously behave with mindfulness, and to strive to be more of a super person. The reader is reminded to connect with the God-self, to the spirit. We are of the same omnicient energy as is our brother Christ. We are reminded to Be the most spiritual, the most SUPER being that we are capable of being while on this physical human journey. John Randolph Price never disappoints; each of his books offer up a fresh and intriguing perspective on what it means to truly be spiritual. If I could give 11 stars to this book, it still would deserve more. A wonderful addition to your library of books that make you think outside of the typical dogma.
Not what I expected.......2007-03-18
I've read lots of interesting spiritual books, but this was not one of them for me. I found the topics jumped around a lot and sometimes it seemed as if someone else had written certain paragraphs. I could not finish the book, even though it was very short. I would say there are other better books available.
The Secret .......2007-03-04
The Secret is becoming popular and taking your money in all media formats. Yes, they are becoming rich alright. Here in this little book called The Superbeings, you learn the exact same things The Secret is preaching. There are hundreds of other books out there that say the same thing, including the Silva Mind Control Method. Jose Silva made it more popular. My argument is that they are all suposed to be helping mankind, yet, they are making it rich themselves by selling all of these guides at too high of a price. Buy this book used, you'll treasure it like Gold. Share it and help save our humanity.
