Book Description
Anyone who yearns for an older home - but is daunted by the prospect of owning one will love this book. Through hundreds of inspiring photographs and engaging text, the author describes what gives traditional homes their enduring appeal. Versaci identifies Eight Pillars of Traditional Design that create a solid foundation for combining authentic, traditional design with livability to create homes that feel old yet live new. Featuring a vast array of new, old-house styles from colonials to farmhouses from all over the country, the houses illustrate the creative work of architects, builders, and craftsmen who are forging the movement toward building new homes that capture an old-home sensibility.

back in time.......2007-07-14
This book was very interesting to look at. The pictures were great if you like old style homes. The title is deceiving. I was looking for a more modern looking style but this book is still a looker but if you're looking to modernize an old home, I would recommend Colonials: Design Ideas for Renovating, Remodeling, and Building New (Updating Classic America) by Matthew Schoenherr.
Pulled into the Pages.......2007-04-12
When you open this book expect not only to view, but become alive in the pages! This book is so full of true "old" techniques, patterns, shapes, forms, and use of the home.
Beautiful, quality pictures to make you feel as if you are right there in each room. Much to gather visually and use for your own home.
Nice but not what I expected........2007-03-23
It's a nice book if you are expecting a general overview of renovated houses,
one in each of several architectural types. I had expected more detail about renovating any style of old house.
Old fashioned style and house plans.......2007-02-18
Many of the photos are beautiful but I was a bit disapointed with this book. It is from the publishers of the Not So Big House books and I was hoping for modern house plans with older style details. Actually many of the house plans in this book look very dated to me with separate living and dining rooms and a difficult path to the kitchens. There also seemed to be more emphasis on the appearance of the outside of the houses than the interiors. This may be a good place to start if you are planning to build in a traditional style and floor plan but I prefer the Not So Big books.
Creating a New Old House-Traditional Architect Review.......2007-01-03
As an Architect, I have always had an appreciation of old buildings, and the creation of new ones that have the feeling that they have always been there. This book, by Russell Versaci has a wonderful composition of different homes, each encompassing this same ideology, but in different styles from around our great country. I think that this, pictorally, is a wonderful example of how one can make a new home feel as if it has always been a part of its place. But I must say, parts of the text are somewhat dry and repetitive...but other than that, I'd definitely buy this book.

Book Description
From the earliest traces of first arrivals to the present, the Native peoples of North America represent a diverse and colorful array of cultures. From Central America to Canada, from recent archaeological discoveries to accounts of current controversies, this comprehensive study uses both traditional story telling and a powerful narrative to bring history to life. Johansen provides a critical narrative of European-American westward expansion through use of Native American voices, including compelling personal sketches of key figures such as: Tecumseh, alliance builder in the Ohio Valley; Chief Joseph the Younger, leader of the Nez Perce "long march"; and Susette LaFlesche, an Omaha Indian who reported on the Wounded Knee massacre for the Omaha-Herald. This account provides an uncommonly rich description of the material and intellectual ways in which Native American cultures have influenced the life and institutions of people across the globe, from medicine such as aspirin to foods like corn and squash to democratic ideas. It utilizes portrayals of select incidents, such as the Wounded Knee massacre and the impact of small pox, to reveal deep layers of meaning about the frontier experience in American history. A wide array of contemporary controversies, such as gambling interests, sports mascots, and sovereignty issues, are also included.
Book Description
For most of us, life has become such a pressure cooker of unrealistic expectations, information overload, relentless marketing, and workaholism that we spend our days stressed out over being stressed out. Guided by the timeless wisdom of her grandmother Francesca, renowned stress coach and humorist Loretta LaRoche makes us see the wisdom of a more civilized time, when no one carried a cell phone during a peaceful walk on the beach.
In Life Is Not a Stress Rehearsal, Loretta takes an honest and hilarious look at the gizmos, self-help regimens, talking heads, comfort products, nutrition plans, and sexual freedoms that we have all come to believe will make our lives better. She shows us that in many ways, they’re filling our lives with more stress and insanity and keeping us isolated from the thing that matters most in any healthy life: real human connection. With Loretta’s contemporary wit and a hearty dose of Francesca's old-world wisdom, Life Is Not a Stress Rehearsal is a breath of fresh air for everyone who's suffocating in our techno-crazed, germ-phobic, "go-go-go" world.

Funny and full of good advice.......2002-08-17
I found this to be a charming book, which is rare in self-help books. Loretta LaRoche is witty, and her in-your-face style of writing lends a great deal of wisdom and advice in this book. I love her analogies of listening to the "inner Grandmother" instead of the "inner child." It just makes sense.
Bravo, Ms. LaRoche, Bravo.

Too much whining!!.......2001-06-13
This could have been a good book, but Ms. LaRoche never lets up on comparing todays lifestyle to that of her grandmother - a useless endeavour. She obviously avails herself of all the modern conveniences - like voice mail, TV, fast food, etc but complains incessantly about the present way of life. The book assumes if we enjoy updated technology or spend a few hours watching sitcoms, that we have lost touch with our families, values etc. Ms.LaRoche is sometimes amusing however she offers little realistic advice.
Common sense in an uncommon book.......2001-04-26
In a book filled with real wisdom, Laroche points out the insanities of life in the 21st century. You would think that we would have learned what is really important, but Laroche points out with punchiness and humour what is lacking today: the need for moderation. Instead of listening to the inner child, we need to listen to our inner grandmother. It means not being obsessed with materialism and workaholism and e-mail and reality TV, and spending time instead taking care of ourselves (take a walk and eat a tomato) and spending time laughing with family and friends (better than St. John's wort as a cure for the blues). Common sense is not that common, and Laroche spells out in clear language what we should have known all along, but have not always done in our lives.
The book is chockful of meaningful advice, but never too preachy. For those (like me) who didn't realize how far they were going down the wrong road, this is a map on how to get on the path to balance in life. Highly recommended, and a very easy read.

Interesting, but too theoretical.......2007-09-10
The book is well written and consist of a wealth of knowledge about the breed. Unfortunately it is to theoretical and not as practical as I hoped it would be. Also the pics are dull and in black and white and doesn't give the book an attractive feel to it. Also some chapters in the book are useless information unless u plan to write a thesis about the first dogs in the line. Overall some useful info. in this book but will not consider it to be the ultimate book to describe Alaskan malamutes
Most important book for a potential or current Mal owner.......2007-05-06
We bought this book shortly after it first came out and from that point forward we have purchased copies for anyone who has gotten one of our puppies. We feel strongly that along with our mentoring new owners, this book provides a resource for them to understand their dog. Bobbie Brooks has done an outstanding service to our breed with this book!
The best book to understand the Alaskan Malamute.......2007-03-13
You will find all you need to know about this fantastic breed from grooming, showing, training, and of course the origin. I recommend it to everyone who loves mals like me!! (greetings from Malta Europe)
It's the Malamute Owner's Manual!.......2006-07-27
I wish a bought this book before I got my first Malamute. It's got everything about the breed. As a malamute owner, it's one of the best books I've ever bought. I would even bet it's the most comprehensive book ever written on ANY dog breed!
Helluva dog. Helluva book........2006-06-21
This book tells it straight about the butchest dog there is. You can't say fairer than that.

Book Description
Bold, innovative, technological marvels, skyscrapers first became part of the nation's landscape of triumphalism during the Gilded Age. In the 20th century, they began to form distinctive skylines, reflections of the unique character of each metropolis. A distinctive piece of Americana, skylines have grown to embody the national character and tradition, a combination of ingenuity, courage, bravado, and the will to accomplish the seemingly impossible, and an expression of the freedom to reach the greatest heights of human experience that has shaped the United States. Skylines: American Cities Yesterday and Today showcases the skylines of 48 great American cities with the brilliant panoramic photographs of Blakeway Worldwide Panoramas. Historical views of these cities, both photographs and detailed maps, reflect the increased importance of civic pride over the past century. Historian M. Hill Goodspeed guides readers through each city, offering atmospheric historical portraits to accompany the vintage images and the stunning contemporary Blakeway images.

the book was great the skylins shots are great in the book and my city jacksonville florida is in there the pictures are amazing i recommend the book to anyone who takes an interest in cities and their skylines
2nd Favorite Christmas gift this year.......2007-01-11
My 11 year old son is very interested in large cities with lots of skyscrapers so when I found this book it was perfect for him. The book contains very interesting historical photos of each city as well as an incredibly beautiful 2-page full color aerial photo. The aerial view is a sight to behold and provides a view of each city that the average person would never see. The recap at the bottom of each photo provides terrific information on buildings and items of interest shown in the photo. This is a great addition to our library of geographic books and one that we will enjoy for many years to come. So what was his favorite Christmas gift? It was the Skylines of the World book by this same author.
A unique and important contribution to American architectural, city planning, and urban studies.......2005-12-05
The oversized, oblong shape of this lovely title will challenge library shelves but lends to display: perfect for the panoramic scenes of American skylines which is the focus of Skylines: American Cities Yesterday And Today. The world's first skyscraper in Chicago was finished in 1885, but skyscrapers have graced almost every large American city since. This celebration provides modern photos of almost fifty such skyscrapers, adding more from around the world and providing historical photos and maps for each city. Personal travel and research combined with these original shots makes Skylines a unique and important contribution to American architectural, city planning, and urban studies.
Dazzling Skylines.......2005-11-06
Finally a quality photography book on the skylines. I have been waiting on a book like this for some time. This book is very well done, most of the photographs are vivid and just jump off the page. The photographs of Atlanta and Honolulu are especially well done, it seems like you can see forever. The only real qualm I have with this book is that the pictures of the skylines are not consistant, some are up close, some are more current, and some are taken at night. The two skylines I am most familiar with, Houston and Dallas, are represented with daylight photos, that I am appreciative of, but the photo's are too close, both cities have great skylines that stretch out from the city center and give a breathtaking vista, which unfortunitely was not represented. If they had been photographed in the same way as Atlanta I would have been thrilled. I would have liked the creators of this book to have taken all the pictures the same way, in the daylight, high above, and on clear, crisp days. This is a nice book, but it could have been great, I would have been so pleased if all the pictures where as well done and aweinspiring as the pics of Honolulu and Atlanta, now that would have been a five star book and then some. Having said all of this, I do recommend this book to anyone with an interest in architecture and arial photography, you won't be totally disappointed, you'll just be left like me, a bit sad, thinking it could have been better.

Encouraging .......2005-09-23
This book is entitled "Let Me Tell You About my Savior; Yesterday, Today and Forever; When the King was Carpenter." That implies that through this book Maria von Trapp wants to tell about her Jesus that she serves.
I found the preface of this book to be encouraging and inspirational because she tells of the hard times she went through in her life and how her faith in the Lord kept her strong through it all.
Much of this book is just like reading out of the Bible with Maria's thoughts woven into it. She uses bits of her life experiences to explain the Christmas story and life of Christ.
There are also a few pictures of the real von Trapp family throughout the book.
Couldn't get past the first page.......2005-08-18
I was disappointed with this book after reading the Story of the Von Trapp family. Too much religion for me. I wanted a story, not a sermon. Very disappointed

The best Cuban recipes I have tested in a long time!!.......2007-09-12
I have eaten Cuban food for a very long time, growing up in Miami with my best friends that were Cuban and continuing to create my own recipes through trial and error, AND I can definitely say that Ms. LaFray knows her Cuban food!! The recipes in this book are extremely authentic. I definitely do not agree with the reviewer before mine. Trust me, Ms. LaFray could not be more authentic with her recipes in this book. And from following many of her titles and reading about her years of experience with food from several different cultures., I know that you can't get much more authentic than obtaining your knowledge straight from the one and only CUBA!!! I would recommend this book to anyone that loves authentic Cuban food....
Disappointing.......2007-04-21
Ms Lafray is lacking in authenticity, in addition for a reviewer not to have so many mistakes, even in issues a simple as the correct spelling of the restaurant that started the Elena Ruth, she has it misspelled. Proof reading anyone, and the recipes are not authentic.
An excellent cookbook from one of Floridas top food critics.......2005-08-07
As a native Key Wester, most of my knowledge of Cuban cooking has been passed on to me via my family and local friends. When I moved to Tampa, (and on many trips to Miami) I noticed many differences and interpretations of classic Cuban dishes of my youth. Such differences are natural due to the verbal, generation-to-generation passing of Cuban cooking. It is very nice to see a cookbook that records this tradition and its variety.
Joyce LaFray's book is the best example that I have seen of capturing true Cuban cooking. I have made a few of the recipes and can honestly say that they are excellent! Her recipe for "Erasmo's Black Beans" is out of this world - having sampled a hefty portion recently at a food tasting event.
If you are experienced in cooking Cuban food; or a beginner who wants to look like a brilliant Cuban food chef - this book is for you. Go ahead and order it - you will be glad you did!
This is it--best Cuban recipes!!!!!!!!!.......2002-10-12
Cuba Cucina has not only the best traditional recipes, but also incredible neuvo Cuban cuisine--the hottest food in South Beach, Miami. The black beans are the best! The recipe came from none other that from Castro's private chef. My guests were transported by "Hemingway's Daquiri" . It's out of this world delicious! Of all the Cuban cookbooks I've tried this unquestionably has the best recipes and is the most fun reading. My compliments to the chef/author!
All of Cuba in a cookbook........2001-05-22
Don't let the French sounding name fool you. I've met this author a couple of years ago in Philadelphia and she brings together a fusion of flavors that make the old classic Cuban recipes come to life as well as some new `nuevo' items that will make your taste buds dance a mambo.
Cuban Cocina - the tantalizing world of Cuban cooking - yesterday, today and tomorrow is written by Joyce LaFray and is a deceitful cookbook only because it contains about 250 pages filled with close to 500 recipes. The book begins with a section on the ingredients and techniques that will be used some of which are non-traditional. There is also an English to Spanish shopping list dictionary, although hard to read with the green color, it is fun and educational, let alone helpful.
Some of the many recipes include: Cilantro Mayonnaise; Pickled Chicken, Havana Style; Marinated Fish with Cilantro; Fresh Conch and Lobster Seviche; Crispy Yuca Ham Croquettes; Lime Avocado Dip; Hearty Galician Soup; Yucassoise; Fried White Bean Cake; Cuban Rice; Marinated Garbanzos; Saffron Rice Salad; Baked Red Snapper with Garlic and Cumin; Grilled Swordfish with Mango and Blueberries; Plantain-Coated Fresh Fish; Sofrito Chicken; Oxtail with Peppers and Capers; Ginger Sherried Roasted Pork; Baked Calabaza Squash with Apples and Cheeses; Sweet Potato Pudding; Pineapple-Citrus Chutney; Pepper Corn Muffins; Banana Flan with Coconut Rum Sauce; Coconut Bars with Guava Jelly and a variety of beverages.
The cookbook is well designed, not breaking the cardinal sin - No pages need to be turned to finish a recipe. Some of the ingredients are not readily available at all grocery stores, but should be from any Latin grocery store. For anyone that wish to add some terrific ethnic foods to their repertoire, Cuba Cocina is a great addition to the bookshelf.

Book Description
"This book provides a mirror to our past--a past that has been ignored or overshadowed for too long." From the foreword by Alex Haley Kern-Foxworth chronicles the stereotypical portrayals of Blacks in advertising from the turn of the century to the present. Beginning with slave advertisements, she discusses how slavery led naturally to the stereotypes found in early advertisements. From the end of the slave era to the culmination of the Civil Rights movement, advertising portrayed Blacks as Aunt Jemimas, Uncle Bens, and Rastuses, and the author explores the psychological impact of these portrayals. With the advent of the Civil Rights movement, organizations such as CORE and NAACP voiced their opposition and became active in the elimination of such advertising. In the final chapters, the volume examines the reactions of consumers to integrated advertising and the current role of Blacks in advertising. Its truly novel subject matter and its inclusion of vintage and contemporary advertisements featuring Blacks make this a valuable work.

Badly needed commentary.......2002-08-10
After the civil war, (segregation notwithstanding) African Americans were technically free people, yet were featured in service products essentially recreating slavery. African Americans were only allowed a public acceptance if they conformed to stereotypical images produced by the larger (predominantely white) society.
Kern-Foxworth's tome provides an eloquent examination of this double bind through brand origins to their modern day counterparts. Early depictions of Aunt Jemima reveal a gross caricturization of Black women's physical features and alleged mannerisms that can never be mistaken for flattery, yet this image was welcomed into many facilities where a living African American irrespective of title would never had been welcome.
Critics of this meticulously researched, spell-binding work could argue the presence of African Americans featured on foodstuffs could be a paean to black visibility via capitalism (where purchasing popularity becomes linked to empowerment/) but the argument would conveniently neglect the undeniably problematic implications of linking African American service and purchase.
Not even a transformation from turbaned servant to the vague "modern woman" has completely resolved very serious cultural contradictions and dilemmas surrounding Aunt Jemima. Is she a tool of the dominant society, a covert agent for revolutionary change or somewhere in between? Through art deconstructing and explore cultural politics, she is positioned as an uneasy reminder of America's less than admirable history of discrimination and bigotry.
Reading this book is tough, but critical for everybody interested in political change and pop culture. Advertising imagery is not inanimate, instead both reflecting and shaping the nation. Encouraging critically thought about the political undertones of pop culture, the author by extension makes profound contributions to civil rights public policy.
Made me hungry..........2000-03-13
I felt bad...because after reading this book about what a horrible, racist image Aunt Jemima is...I was inspired to go get a box of her mix and eat pancakes three meals a day. Very informative book, it goes a bit far in blaming everything in the world on racism...as is the style of the day

Masterful treatment of the topic.......2007-09-13
Palmer Robertson is a master biblical theologian. He has a great eye both for the forest and the trees of the Bible; he can see the big picture as well as how all the details play their own vital role. As he traces different themes through the Old and New Testaments, he is faithful to each text in its historical context but can also see how OT themes anticipate NT ones, how the NT answers the questions of the OT. Simply put, the book is masterfully argued, and it is compelling in its entirety. I came in expecting to agree with his thesis, but understand my own position better after reading the book.
Robertson may be shouting into a tornado on this issue, but he needs to be heard. His voice brings sober and responsible handling of Scripture to a hotly-debated topic, and he demonstrates its serious implications for our doctrine and practice. Read this book with Bible in hand, and you will be more grateful that Jesus is the high priest of a better covenant.
superb! Israel according to biblical theology........2007-01-28
Israel according to a study of biblical theology by a biblical theologian. Done with sanity and a very careful handling of scripture. A bit of work to get through, but it is a must if one is to be well rounded in the study of Israel and the bible. This may be just about the best and most scripturally accurate and careful work on the subject I have read.
Great Book! ... 5 Stars!!.......2006-05-04
The Christian Church is indeed the true Israel of God. It's what the bible is all about. O. Palmer Robertson is correct on all counts.
The word "Israel" was first used when God changed Jacob's name to "Israel", meaning "a man conquered, or who strives with God".
That is why a true "Israelite" is someone who comes to God by FAITH in HIS promises and through JESUS CHRIST. Not someone who is merely of the physical Descent, or bloodlines. This is what God ALWAYS meant by "Israelite", even in the Old Testament.
It is not 'Replacement Theology' as so many uniformed people love to call it-----it is actually 'Continuance Theology'.
I'm glad that O. Palmer Robertson wrote this book, and I cheer on anyone else who attempts to educate Christians with these truths.
It's high time Christians stood up and faced down the foolish liberal theology of Dispensationalism. Yes, LIBERAL. This ridiculous theology (Dispensationalism) only came into being as recently as the early 1800's. It is NOT fundamental, nor is it conservative. It is the complete opposite, and the so-called 'Evangelical Christians' of today need to realize this. Hopefully Mr. Robertson with this book has made some headway in this regard.
I rate this 5 stars.....10 if it were possible.
(I rated it 5 stars but the page didn't load properly and somehow it was changed to 2 stars, which is not the rating I gave it, so ignore the 2 star rating if they haven't fixed it)
Stimulating & serious, flawed by neglect of Puritan writing........2005-09-15
O. Palmer Robertson has won wide critical acclaim for his seminal examination of the Divine Covenants, `The Christ of the Covenants', and recently for his work `the Christ of the Prophets'. His evangelical credentials are solid. This makes his trenchant assertion in this work, that unbelieving Israel's return to her land is unforeseen by Scripture (p 194) and one which `may be expected to perish, as all other nations have perished in due time' (p112) all the more chilling.
The `Israel of God' examines changes in the concept of Israel between the testaments. He devotes chapters to the land, the people, their worship, pilgrim lifestyle and especially its kingdom. He concludes with an exposition of Romans 11 and then crystallises the book with 12 propositions. It is a studious and detailed work. He repeatedly denies advocating `replacement theology'. He helpfully refutes a dispensational view of Israel, always parallel to but persistently separate from the church, and for which a future return to Levitical forms of worship is legitimate. His main burden is to demonstrate that by fulfilling the Sinaitic shadows and types, Christ has irreversibly broken down the partition between Jew and Gentile. Jesus the Messiah is the only valid priest and sacrifice. To this, most Christian readers will heartily concur.
The problem arises from the conflation of Abrahamic and Sinatic covenants derived from his earlier work. This is especially evident in his handling of the land promise, which he treats as merely a covenant shadow (p13). He compares the belief that Israel's land should remain the focus of the covenant of grace, to an expectation that the shadow of the brass serpent on the stake, or Jacob's ladder might be replaced by a bigger and better one (p5,6)! This is to confuse the substance of the promise with the signs that accompany it, an error we would not expect from a theologian of his stature. Did the birth of the Messiah resulted in the disappearance of Isaac from Heaven? Isaac was the down payment of the promise of a seed. He was the beginning of the substance of the promise, not merely a sign to be dispensed with.
In a similar vein, he dismisses expectation of a return to the land as similar to expectation of a restoration of the Temple and its sacrifices (p17), a dismal event heralding only the end. This is to confuse the grace Covenant with Abraham, which stands as the foundation stone of the Gospel (Rom.4.3, Gal.3.14) with the law Covenant at Sinai, which was clothed in the symbols of an ineffective Levitical mediation. The land was the focus of the covenant promise to the patriarch, as much as the seed. It was to the land, as Robertson concedes (p.23) to which all three patriarchs and Joseph committed their dust. Why? if their expectation was only Heavenly? Is it not because the land belongs by merit to our Emmanuel (Isa.8.8,10)? It is a special down payment for the whole cosmos (Rom.4.13).
Whilst all will agree that Israel's land was to the patriarchs a token of Heavenly realities, it also remains an inalienable necessity to unbelieving Israel's nationhood.
To dismiss the land focus of God's gracious covenant with Abraham as a shadow that has already flown, is to discount the numerous prophecies of a NT restoration of the Jews to statehood, in which the Puritans and their heirs so delighted, e.g. Jer.31.35-7. It also paves the way for the growing Christian strain of anti-Zionism, a virulent and mutated form of anti-Semitism.
His handling of Ezekiel 37 is especially illuminating. Space forbids analysis, but it is impossible to squeeze into this prophecy the notion that Israel must repent before return. Given there must be some delay between the restoration and the repentance, are we not living in such days today? Should we not more ardently pray for that promised Wind to fall upon enfleshed but lifeless bones? Why then is the church growing faithless and high-minded towards national Israel? Why is she joining unbelievers in over harshly condemning Israel's acts on the partial foundation of international law, tilted by oil and religious interests? Is she not too in danger of despising the Law of God?
His exposition of Romans 11 will be easily critiqued by readers familiar with the weightier, historic commentators. He leans heavily on the flawed Aleph and B manuscripts by inserting a third `now' into v. 30-31. This enfeebles and enervates the glorious mystery of v 25, as Lloyd-Jones reminds us.
This work is a potent stimulant to critically ponder vital issues, issues likely to grow in importance and heat in the near future. It contains welcome redress to the dispensationalism that too often dominates discussion of Israel's future. However this reviewer found himself sharply at odds with 5 of Robertson's concluding propositions (3-5 and 9 & 10).
An antidote for Dispensationalism.......2003-03-29
Even though dispensationalism is mercifully on the wane, Christians should still understand what the Bible says about future times. Should we fix our eyes on Jesus? Or, should we fix our eyes on the nation of Israel as many of the self-proclaimed, money hungry, fantasy driven, flock fleecing, prophecy experts tell us. Look at all of the "prophecy experts" who are millionares thanks to uninformed Christians forking over big bucks to hear the non-sense they proclaim. Jesus if the focus of redemtive history, not the land of Palestine! Jesus if the fulfillment of prophecy, not the Jewish people in the land.
O. Palmer Robertson points out clearly that the Church today, made up of JEWS AND GENTILES who have become saved by the grace of God through the shed blood of Christ are in deed the ISRAEL OF GOD. This book does a GREAT job of pointing out this truth. Get the book and read it for yourself. This book is the best, but other great works are "Jesus and Israel" by Holwerda and hot off the press "A Case for Amillennialism: Understanding End Times" by Kim Riddlebarger. Stay away from the "Left Behind" series; it is not based on Biblical truth!
