Accents Me Better.......2007-08-29
He's fine, sexy and paid. Jaylin Rogers is definitely what one would consider an aficionado when it comes to the ladies. While Jaylin loves women, he has a prerequisite that they must meet before they can get added to his roster. She has to be bodacious, have a degree, can cook, a good job, nice car, no kids and must be able to cater to him. Now if she's able to do all of that, then she has to know that in order to be one of Jaylin's women, she must be willing to share. It's simple, Jaylin can't be with just one women; either she understands and plays her position, or to the bench she goes.
No one understands Jaylin better than Nokea. And when it comes to keeping him satisfied, Felicia has the master key. While the two know all about the other's role in Jaylin's life, the situation gets uncomfortable when a new chick, Scorpio, intrudes on their relationship. Will she have something to offer that neither woman can top?
Stephon and Jaylin are first cousins who just so happen to be best friends. They've shared plenty of things without any hassles. That was until Stephon sets his sights on Jaylin's gem. Things get a little messy and the cousins seem to be on opposing sides. Will the cousins be able to mend their relationship?
I can admit it; I got caught slipping on Brenda M. Hampton's talent for real! If you're looking for a book where there is hot sex, intrigue, drama, lies, love and confessions, then "Two's Enough Three's A Crowd" is the book to add to your collection. I hate that I don't know the ending, but I guess I'll just have to find out in "My Way Or No Way."
The Turtle Won!!.......2007-06-16
If you're in a great big hurry, pass this one up. This one has to marinate for a moment. After the juices get all into the meat, then Brenda Hampton serves you up a 10-course meal and after eating all that food u still have room for dessert except it's still in the oven...hahahaha...I'd recommend this one. It was a little shaky at first but it made up for itself and showed out a little in the end.
REAL!!!!.......2007-06-03
I dont know what took me so long to find out about Brenda Hampton but she is an outstanding writer. This book kept it real from the begining to the end. I could not put this down. The book is packed fill of drama and I love it. On to the next book in the series. Keep them coming Brenda. Jaylin is BAD!!!
Coast 2 Coast Review.......2007-05-30
Jaylin Jerome Rogers takes you a emotional rollercoaster ride with Nokea, Felicia and Scorpio just to name a few of the women that the playa played, his cousin Stephon is no better so if you would like to take a look at a relationship from a man's point of view. Please read Two's Enough Three's A Crowd. This is one of the best relationship book out. Can't wait to read Part II [...]
Great Read.......2007-04-01
This was an excellent read. I have to say that Jaylin was quite a character. He was the top dog of all dogs. Faithful is not even in his vocabulary.
Felicia,Scorpio,& Nokea, are all crazy for messing with him. Whats even worse is that they all knew about each other. I guess the heart wants what it wants. But I really do believe that Nokea was meant to be with Jaylin.

A Note by Ichigo~.......2006-11-05
Hi! I'm Ichigo, just thought I'd put a little review for the second book. I don't want to give anything away, but you know how in the first book we're just getting to know each other (even though it's not all of us) and I sorta don't really like Mint . . . yeah. But this book features the other two Mew Mew's: Zakuro and Pudding. Zakuro is part wolf, and Pudding is part lion. . .monkey. . thing. I don't remember I'll have to ask her later. But anyway in this book this is where the Mew Mew's really start to get together, ya know battling chimera anima and stuff like that. (Kish is such the flirt!). . . (and an alien!) So, if you haven't decided whether you wanted to buy this book or not, I think you should. Even though it doesn't have me on the cover *sniff* it's still good. Oh and. . . oh, gotta go! More chimera anima to fight! Bye!
Tokyo Mew Mew Book 2.......2006-01-09
In the start of this book there are only three Mew Mews: Ichigo Momomiya, Mint Aizawa, and Lettuce Midorikawa. Ichigo is part iriomote cat, Mint is part ultramarine lorikeet (a bird), and Lettuce is part porpoise. They meet two other girls, Pudding Fong who is part golden lion tamarin (a monkey), and Zakuro Fujiwara who is part gray wolf. Zakuro is probably my favorite. I like Mint, too. Mint is really pretty on the cover. I like her hairdo.
You should probably read book 1 first. It is about how Ichigo gets her powers and meets Mint and Lettuce.
Kawiia manga!.......2005-11-26
This book is very cute and highly recomended! I just got this book a while ago and I loved it!The only thing I really hate is Kish he's just to flirty around Ichiga. So in this book The mews (Ichoga,Mint and lettuce) finally find the other two mews ,Zakuro and Purin(A.K.A Pudding),
and Minto(mint)and Retasu(Lettuce) meet the alien Kish. This book is made for some one nine or older for some mild laguege.

This Book is So Good.......2005-11-21
Tokyo Mew Mew
By; Mia Icumi
This book Tokyo Mew Mew was a very good book to read. The main characters were Ichigo the" leader", Mint the rich girl who always has a proper time to do every thing, Lettuce the clumsy one, Pudding who has a lot of energy, and Zacuro the model. This book leaves off from the first one. Mint, Ichigo, Lettuce, Pudding, and Zacuro got injected with animal DNA in a freak accident now Ichigo has to find the other mew mews to help her save the world from anima animals. Kish (a bad guy) likes to flirt with Ichigo and in this book Kish comes out of no where and kisses her. He wants to get rid of the mew mews so he and his master can take over the world. I wanted to read this book because my friend got me hooked on the show so I wanted to read the book to see what was going on. I think girls around 12 or 13 would enjoy this book because its got a really good plot and its about all theaes girls who are like animals. The theme of this book is "don't judge a book by its cover" because people think the mew mews are bad but they're not.
A good thing that I liked was that they were really powerful and they worked at a really nifty coffee shop. A bad thing would be that the ending was not enough and I wanted to read more about what happened so it leaves you hanging in a way.
Over all I think this book rocked so hard and ill read it again any day. I recommend this book because it's really good and it's really entertaining for girls. Im glad I read and hopefully I could get someone hooked on it.

Tokyo Mew Mew vol.2.......2005-10-18
I am Mia not Frank!(just to let you know) This book continues the cliffhanger ending of book 1, the scene with Kish kissing Ichigo. This book made me want Ichigo to love Kish instead of Masaya or Ryou. In this book the rest of the mew mews are introduced. The stupid names and battle cries don't get any less stupider. That's the only downside. This book Kish in it (yay^_^) and tells alittle more about Mint. Ryou shows his love for Ichigo much more in this book but she's just too dense to accualy see it! If you read the first book then you're probably like me inbetween book 1 and 2; dieing for more! Ichigo still won't love Kish(boohoo-_-)This series is like Sailor Moon so if you like Sailor Moon you'd like this!

Madison+Hart or Madion+Josh?.......2005-04-22
Wow. I love the Madison Finn books but this book is the best one that I have read. I was so surprised at the ending (I won't give it away) This book was a page turner and I could almost feel Madison trying to think of what guy to pick.
Madison Finn lovers or people who are new to this series:
THIS IS THE BEST MADISON FINN BOOK EVER! IF YOU DON'T READ IT YOUR NUTS!
the besst.......2005-01-10
Madison is very sick. Her mom has to go out of town for work, same with her Dad. Madison's mom calls in her Gramma to help. Meanwhile, Hart dumps Ivy, but Madison finds another guy. But this guy is too good to be true. He already has a girlfriend. Finally, it is Madison+Hart!
Love Sick.......2005-01-09
Madison Finn is in bed with Bronchitis. No fun to be sick, right? Well Maddie has Josh Turner to keep her entertained. Josh lives across the street from Maddie. He's a grade nine student at her school that she NEVER noticed up until then- which is weird since it seems everyone else has heard of him. Anyway, Madison developes a huge crush on this guy(Isn't it funny how just as Hart starts to show some interest in her, her crush on him seems to fade away?) and he seems interested enough in her too but has she read the signs wrong? Also, due to Madison's illness, Gramma Helen comes flying down from Chicago to take care of her. With her Gramma, her newly developed crush, and her school project, things are really heating up, and it isn't the fever! This is a great book and tho I REALLY love Maddie I kind of feel like slapping her sometimes for blowing off Hart and being obsessed with Josh! But EVERYTHING is fixed at the end with Josh( turns out Madison and Josh just weren't meant to be)and after feeling lousy for a while, there's a new ray of sunshine through the dark clouds when Maddie gets a surprise call from an old crush. I HIGHLY recommend this book(and the whole series) to a fan or a new reader. (Can't wait for, #18. Give Me A Break, #19. Keep it Real) L8R! >^,,^

When you're sick.... CRUSH!.......2004-09-25
Ugh! Maddie's caught a flu bug that's going around Far Hills, and it's NOT fun. Mom's never around to take care of her, and when she IS around she's fighting with Gramma, who's come to take care of Madison while he mom works. Meanwhile, Maddie discovers a cute neighbour (Josh Turner) that she never knew she had! He's 2 years her elder, and sooo HOT! But Hart is getting jealous, and his feelings for Madison are becoming evident slowly. In the end, get ready for 2 shocker surprises! Who will Madison choose? Will she follow her heart, or follow her Hart?
Plus, we find out that Hart does NOT like Poison Ivy after all. Yessss!!!!!
The very best book.......2004-08-16
This is a very good book because it is fun to read. I love the part where Madison meets Remy. It fixes up the problem with Josh.
Book Description
"A significant contribution to our understanding of minor parties and party system change. The authors develop a new theory and provide strong empirical evidence in support of it. They show that the Perot's candidacy has had a strong and lasting impact on partisan competition in elections.
---Paul Herrnson, Director, Center for American Politics and Citizenship Professor, Department of Government and Politics, University of Maryland
"Powerfully persuasive in its exhaustive research, Three's a Crowd may surprise many by revealing the long- ignored but pivotal impact of Perot voters on every national election since 1992."
---Clay Mulford, Jones Day and General Counsel to the 1992 Perot Presidential Campaign and to the Reform Party.
"Rapaport and Stone have written an engaging and important book. They bring fresh perspectives, interesting data, and much good sense to this project. Three's a Crowd is fundamentally about political change, which will, in turn, change how scholars and pundits think of Ross Perot in particular, and third parties in general."
---John G. Geer, Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University and Editor of The Journal of Politics
"The definitive analysis of the Perot movement, its role in the 1994 GOP victory, and the emergence of an enduring governing majority."
---L. Sandy Maisel, Director, Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs, Colby College
Three's a Crowd begins with the simple insight that third parties are creatures of the American two-party system, and derive their support from the failures of the Democratic and Republican parties.
While third parties flash briefly in the gaps left by those failures, they nevertheless follow a familiar pattern: a sensation in one election, a disappointment in the next. Rapoport and Stone conclude that this steep arc results from one or both major parties successfully absorbing the third party's constituency. In the first election, the third party raises new issues and defines new constituencies; in the second, the major parties move in on the new territory. But in appropriating the third party's constituents, the major parties open themselves up to change. This is what the authors call the "dynamic of third parties."
The Perot campaign exemplified this effect in 1992 and 1996. Political observers of contemporary electoral politics missed the significance of Perot's independent campaign for the presidency in 1992. Rapoport and Stone, who had unfettered-and unparalleled-access to the Perot political machine, show how his run perfectly embodies the third-party dynamic. Yet until now no one has considered the aftermath of the Perot movement through that lens.
For anyone who seeks to understand the workings of our stubbornly two-party structure, this eagerly awaited and definitive analysis will shed new light on the role of third parties in the American political system.

Three's a Crowd--Well worth the read.......2006-04-04
This is not only one of the most interesting books on the American political system that I've read over the years, but also one of the most accessible. Three's A Crowd is an exceptionally well-written and intellectual book that will appeal to academics, students, and the curious reader alike. Rapoport and Stone do an excellent job of developing their theory and supporting it with years of careful research. To anyone who has ever wondered why the American two-party system is the way that it is (and under what conditions that might be changed), I highly recommend this book.

Absence makes the heart grow stronger..........2006-05-08
Mary Giaccio is, perhaps, the only Unicorn in Sweet Valley Middle School who truly is as special and unique as the club's name suggests. Mary is special and unique, not just because she is the club's only member who quietly sidesteps its blatant elitism and callous snobbery, but because she truly is a generous, sensitive and loving girl in spite of it all - in spite of being a Unicorn; in spite of growing up in countless foster homes before coming to live in Sweet Valley with the Altmans; and in spite of losing her mother seven and half years ago.
For readers who pay particular attention to (and who also hold especial regard for) the more unique and interesting characters created by Francine Pascal and brought to life on paper by Jamie Suzanne in this series, Mary Giaccio's character and narrative history holds a certain degree of pathos and more than a touch of the miraculous, especially considering how prosperous, and yet how bland, a background do many of Francine Pascal's most favoured and privileged heroines in this series come from. And when their worlds are brought into sharp contrast with Mary's own, the story also dramatically shifts its values and prejudices to reveal a girl who is desperate for a true sense of belonging apart from popularity.
Insight into Mary's true condition of heart is, in a touch of inspiration, first hinted at in The New Girl, book number 6, another story of a girl in search of love, home and a sense of belonging amongst other characters who take it all for granted. We read with surprise, curiosity, wonder and then concern at Mary's apparent fascination with Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield's mother, Alice. This in and of itself is an unusual development in a girl who is popular, well adjusted and seemingly contented. In Three's a Crowd, book number 7 in the Sweet Valley Twins series, Mary's fascination turns into something more poignant and sharp as she begins to grow desperate to spend time with Alice Wakefield, even to the detriment of her friendships with both Jessica, a fellow Unicorn, and Jessicia's twin, Elizabeth, and also her own relationship with her foster mother Nancy. Mary, hardened now to almost everything but her desire to be with Alice, just as quietly, and certainly with more determination, sidesteps the discouragements Jessica and Elizabeth take pains to give, just as she evades the narrow mentality of the Unicorn Club without compromising her position in it or her membership.
This story is a careful and compassionate exploration of a lost girl's tangled emotions - feelings she cannot explain to herself, much less to others. When Mary begins to isolate the Wakefield twins because of her inexplicable behaviour, not even Elizabeth at this critical point can understand why Mary is so unhappy and so obviously in need of Alice's attention and conversation. Jessica, however, is less sympathetic and less tolerant: having just extricated herself and Elizabeth from a situation in which both girls had been masquerading as "Jennifer, the third Wakefield triplet" for some weeks and wriggling out of punishment by the narrowest of margins in book number 6, Jessica makes a stand against the possibility of having another, real sister in her family under such strange circumstances. And it is also fair to say that no one likes to share their mothers, sometimes not even with their own siblings, and often not at all with strangers and outsiders. Fun-loving, shallow Jessica is, interestingly enough, the first character in this story to see who and what the true problem is. Her family all believe that she resents and is jealous of Mary's friendship with Elizabeth, but it is her own relationship with her own mother that Jessica is trying to protect and cherish.
Like Lila Fowler and Dennis Brooke, Mary Giaccio yearns for a solid and unbreakable connection with her past and a greater understanding of her own identity, embodied in an absent parent - in this case, her mother. Mary tries so valiantly, and yet so naively, to bandage her own wounds (as any twelve year-old would) by looking for her mother in the eyes, gestures, mannerisms and personalities of other women in her life, that no reader with any heart could possibly grudge Mary Giaccio her happy ending (no matter how contrived), and the final fairytale reunion she has with her true mother in Alice Wakefield's living room.
A really good book.......2006-03-06
This is one of the old Sweet Valley books, before they got silly.
Twin sisters Jessica and Elizabeth have noticed that their friend Mary spends a lot of time at their house. When she is over, she doesn't want to talk to the twins, instead she always wants to hang around with Jessica and Elizabeth's mom.
One day Jessica gets fed up and tells Elizabeth to tell Mary that she cannot come over anymore.
When Elizabeth discovers the real reason that Mary wants to spend so much time with the twins' mom, she regrets telling Mary that she is no longer welcome at their house.
Can Jessica and Elizabeth become friends with Mary again? And just what is the secret that Mary and her foster parents are hiding?

I love this book!.......1996-09-25
This is the story of twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield and their friend Mary Giaccio. Mary was the foster child of the Altman's. She often went to visit the Wakefield's, walking home with either Elizabeth or Jessica from school.
Jessica noticed that Mary was far too close with her mother. She felt jealous and resented Mary's easy going ways in their home. She noticed that Mary was always following her mother around, chatting and laughing with her. Sometimes, she felt ignored because her mother was busy talking with Mary. One day, she approached her twin sister Elizabeth and told her of her observations. She said that Mary didn't really go to their house to be with them - it was really to be with their mother. She asked Elizabeth not to invite Mary to their house anymore. She made it clear that she didn't want another sister!
Elizabeth, realizing that Jessica really resented Mary's presence in their house, tried to avoid Mary at school. She would run off after school or pretend to be busy with her newspaper work. Mary noticed this and felt very hurt. Elizabeth, who is really a warm and understanding person, decided to tell Mary the truth. She told Mary that Jessica no longer wants Mary to visit their home because she didn't want to have to share their mother's attention with anyone.
Since then, Mary avoided the twins. She would sit alone in school and really looked miserable. During one occasion, Mary had a chance to sit beside Jessica. She gave Jessica a gift and told her that she really wanted to be friends again. Jessica was surprised and pleased when she saw that the gift Mary gave her was a gold and silver bracelet Mary had worn so often and which she really liked. She also needed some help in typing some recipes to be published in a book in school. So she decided to be friends with Mary again. She even invited Mary to go her house after school for snacks.
While they drank grape juice in Jessica's kitchen, they read the master newspaper article Elizabeth wrote about someone who gave a talk about proper dressing in school. Unfortunately, Jessica accidentally spilt the grape juice on the paper. The ink ran out and no matter how they tried to blot the paper, the whole article which Elizabeth wrote was erased. Afraid of Elizabeth's reaction, Jessica proceeded to fill in the missing paragraphs with her own ideas. Mary typed the article on the paper.
That evening, Jessica overheard her parents saying that the Altman's have decided to adopt Mary. Despite Elizabeth's warning that she should not repeat that information to anyone else, Jessica decided that it was such good news and everyone should know about it. The Altman couple were so nice and finally Mary would stop following her mother around since Mrs. Altman would made a very good mother. Just before going to sleep, Jessica wrote an additional sentence in the Elizabeth's article in the master newspaper. It read: "Mary will be adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Altman". Jessica was sure that Mary would thank her for putting that in.
Come the following day, Elizabeth and Mary were both horrified with what came out in the newspaper. Elizabeth went straight to her advisor to say that she wants to redo the article. Her advisor said that the article was more "fun" than her usual articles and if she would only correct the spelling errors, it would really be perfect. This made Elizabeth feel worse. She really wanted to kill Jessica - specially after Mary confronted her, telling her that she didn't want to be adopted by the Altman's because she believes that her mother is not really dead, as was told to her by a certain Annie who brought her up after her mother left and disappeared. Mary said that she was sure that her mother was somewhere still trying to find her.
After school, she went home directly and told Mr. and Mrs. Altman that she didn't want to be adopted because she believes her mother would one day find her - even if it was already 7 years since her mother left her. The Altman's understood her and respected her decision.
Mary forgave Jessica for writing about her in the newspaper. Elizabeth managed to forgive her twin sister as well and all three became good friends once more.
One day, a woman came by the school to ask about Mary. Elizabeth noticed that the woman resembled her mother. She told the woman that Mary was with her twin sister in their house. She offered to walk the woman to her house. On the way, the woman asked a lot of things about Mary, about the Altman's and whether Mary was happy there. Elizabeth asked her if she was Annie. The woman said no. Suddenly Elizabeth's heart jumped. She asked the woman if she was the mother of Mary. Tears sprang to her eyes as the woman admitted that she was Mary's mother. She said that she had been looking for Mary for a long time.
When they reached the Wakefield's house, Mary instantly recognized her mother and ran to embrace her. The woman introduced herself as Mrs. Robinson and said that Mary's real name is Mary Elizabeth Robinson. She explained that she left Mary to the care of her neighbour, Annie Gaccio, when she had to go to attend to her dying mother. After the funeral, she went back only to find that Annie had kidnapped Mary. She went to the police but no one could trace Annie. No one could trace Mary Robinson either.
When Annie Gaccio was recently caught by the police stealing from a department store, she denied knowing any Mary Robinson. A policeman said that maybe they will try to search for a Mary Gaccio - in case Annie had changed Mary's surname.
That search led her to Sweet Valley and to Mary. Realizing that Mary was very happy living in Sweet Valley, Mrs. Robinson accepted Mr. Altman's offer to help her look for a job there. Mary was very happy to be with her mother at last and to continue staying at Sweet Valley. She really liked her friends and her school.
Elizabeth and Jessica were so happy for Mary. Elizabeth altered the newspaper article, retaining most of what Jessica wrote and adding "Written by Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield" making Jessica very happy. The school newspaper won in a contest and the recipe book which Jessica, Mary and their other friends wrote was selling well.
More importantly, Jessica and Elizabeth realized how lucky they were that they had parents who loved them and took very good care of them.

--How is one supposed to feel when her two rivals of similar age at an orphans' home are adopted along with her into a family? Cat, Josie Taylor, and Becka Morgan are getting used to their new lives and have settled into their school well. They've made friends, and only Cat really has a boyfriend, so she wants the others to get dates as well. However, this involves Becka being manipulated into helping a very cute guy in the grade cheat on his tests and Josie being forced into a romance with her friend and neighbour Red. Will romance tear the three sisters apart, and can they work out their different views on love properly? --This is a good book, but Marilyn Kaye really needs to get her grammar down correctly. She can't get "who" and "whom" worked out correctly - mistakes both ways were seen in this book and in others in the series. This is also the case in the difference between "like" and "as" though not as much. It would make it easier if either Ms. Kaye or the proofreader at HarperCollins could fix it up a bit. --Marisa
