Book Description
A great big hug in book form, Snuggle Puppy is a year-round valentine from parent to child. It is bright, chunky, a pleasure to hold, and has a die-cut cover that reveals a glimpse of the joy inside before it's even opened. Best of all, it's packed, of course, with pure Boynton: her inimitable language, her inimitable illustrations, her inimitable sense of fun.
OOO, Snuggle Puppy of mine! Everything about you is especially fine. I love what you are. I love what you do. Fuzzy little Snuggle Puppy, I love you. Featuring a sweet and cuddly doggie cast and rhyming verse, Snuggle Puppy is the perfect bedtime book to read last, because of an ending that kids will want again and again: I started with OOO. . . . Now we'll end like this: [BIG SMOOCH!]

Love it.......2007-10-14
I had this book when my son was a baby and now my daughter and they both loved it. My daughter dances while I sing it to her.
Too cute!.......2007-10-06
My daughter loves this book and insists upon having it read/sung to her just about every night. Although I do not have the greatest voice this book is a source of enjoyment night after night as part of our bedtime routine.
Love it!.......2007-08-15
My baby loves this book! We've read it to her since she was about 2 months old and repeats the Oooooo noise after you. It's so cute to read it with her and we've bought it for multiple gifts.
Cute, but too wordy .......2007-05-27
I love Sandra Boynton but this isn't my favorite. It is a cute story and very sweet, but it is wordy and repetetive and my daughter usually gets bored before we are through. I would recommend getting one of the author's other books.
Great for Dads, Moms, Boys & Girls.......2007-05-27
This little book is wonderful! It's one of the few my baby girl will sit through. One nice touch is that there aren't any gender cues for the parent dog or little puppy. It could be a Mommy and her little boy baking the cookies just as easily as a Daddy and his little girl. Very cute! I haven't been disappointed with a Boynton book yet!

Customer Reviews:
Biscuit Loves Mother's Day.......2007-06-12
I believe that all the Biscuit books are written very well and I know that my child loves them all. This book shows how the little girl and her dog Biscuit prepare for Mother's Day. It is written very well and I would recommend it to anyone with small children.
Right To the Point.......2005-07-28
Another Biscuit holiday flap book that gets right to the point. This time it is Mother's Day and The-Girl-In-Purple-Sneakers and Biscuit are going to make it a special day for Mom and show how much they care. Gifts are made, Mom seeps in, and a special breakfast in bed are just the beginning of Mom's special day.
The book is packed with the typically adorable artwork that has been a backbone to the Biscuit series. The end flaps reveal what Biscuit is up to in his usual puppyish ways. All in all another good holiday book that is attractive and fun to read.

Book Description
This is a delightful book for dog lovers of all ages! Fun for people with a new puppy or new dog as well as those with "existing family pets," it is a wonderful way to record memorable times and organize the many great photos one has of their best friend.
"Finding You," "Homecoming" and "Words & Phrases" are just a few of the fun sections to complete (all of which have space for photos)! Compare what you wanted to teach your dog to what they actually learned. Record what your dog has trained you to do! Highlight things you do that wag your dog's tail. Coming home probably tops the list! How well did you do in obedience school? Was your dog the valedictorian or simply average?
There are twelve pages exclusively for pictures with a variety of headlines such as "Silly Moves," "Romping & Rolling" and "Unconditional Love." The last two pages of the book, "Love Notes," feature ruled lines to recount more special memories.
This book holds up to 65 photographs (depending on size and orientation). The book becomes personalized when one places their dog's photo on the title page, which then shows through on the front cover! The pages are a beautiful, heavy stock sturdy enough to hold lots of photographs. The simple, clean design is eye-catching and intentional...allowing your photos to be the highlight of the book.
A donation from each book sold will be made to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in honor of all of the wonderful dogs in our world.

My sister's new baby!!.......2003-04-01
I bought this book for a special gift for my younger sister's new baby(puppy). After I surprised her with it she looked it over and said, "This is the most wonderful book I have ever seen." She is now filling out ever page with great delight> Thanks to the author for creating such an amazing gift so every person that has a furbaby will have a special way to show them off to other understanding mothers!! Thanks again Kathy
Helping the Healing.......2002-09-12
Our four-year-old dog died this summer, and our children were having a hard time dealing with it. I found this book, and was able to put a wonderful journal of her role in our family, from the day she was born to her last days with us. It has thoughtful sections that just about anyone can fill in about their dogs. Now, when we're sad, we turn to the book and it keeps her with us. It would have been great to have when she was alive, and I'm getting one for the other dog.
Really great 'baby book' for your 4-legged children.......2002-07-07
This is a wonderful book for anyone who loves their dogs as children. I bought one for our 3 year old adopted beagle, and am getting one for our daugher-in-law's birthday for their rottie. You can personalize it as you wish, and I have included comic clippings (Marmaduke, Mutts, etc.) that are appropriate along with the photos and have created the beginning of a great book for my best friend that I will keep forever.
My Dog's Life a photo journal of unconditional love.......2002-04-30
What a fun book. It is perfect for all ages, from little ones with their first puppy, to empty nesters. We picked one up when we got our new Puppy Toby, and have started to fill out the pages in detail. We wish we had one for Alex, our 14 year old Golden, that passed on in November. Many Thanks to Nancy Dewar and Marble.

A Great Book for Babies.......2007-09-01
This is a wonderful book for babies and toddlers. I bought this book for my daughter when she was 6 months old. We now keep the book in the car and the first thing she usually says after she is in her car seat is "Puppy book, Mommy."
The book contains pictures of real puppies and each puppy has an object the reader can touch and feel: puppy fur, a basket, a dog's "tongue," and bows.
As with all Roger Priddy books, this too is a wonderful book.
a favorite book!.......2006-05-07
I bought this book for my daughter when she was about 6 months old. She likes books a lot, but she absolutley loved this book. She wouldn't put it down. She will look at other books for a little bit, smile, and then go on to something else. This book still gets smiles and laughter day after day over a month later. If she see this book laying around she will stop everything and go after it. I really like the big simple pictures in the book. It is eye catching for a baby without being overstimulating. The cute rhymes are also great for language development. My daughter and I both prefer the Roger Priddy books over others. We have since bought Frosty Friends, and Zoo's Who, which are both a hit. I plan to buy the 4th book, Quack, Quack for her also. All the Roger Priddy books are great and have been a hit in our house.

Customer Reviews:
A great read aloud story with a message!.......2003-11-16
As a children's librarian that is always on the look out for a good book for my preschool story time, I loved this book. Not only was the text short, sweet and to the point (important when you are trying to keep a 2 year old's interest) but the fun, eye-catching pictures told the story beautifully. Its a great read aloud book with a message of love and acceptance. What is not to like.
Cute pictures, no story!.......2003-04-28
Even for preschoolers, this text has little to offer. It's even hard to find the lonely dog and girl in one spread filled with kids cuddling dogs. The "story" claims no one would play with them and the reader is left saying, "Huh?" Come on, young readers deserve more than this lame attempt! If you're looking for a fun dog book for kids, I recommend "Little Dog Poems" by Kristine o'Connell George.

Book Description
How can Barkley, a sweet springer spaniel, belong to an arrogant guy like Jack, who laughs whenever one of our dogs at Perfect Paws has literally dragged me through the dirt? Plus he's dating Megan-the-Mega-Snob! I'm not sure why that gets to me—it's not like I like Jack, despite his surprising smile and the way he is with dogs. Sigh.
How do I know so much about puppies and so little about love?
Customer Reviews:
Courtesy of Teens Read Too.......2007-07-26
Allie can't believe her luck. This summer she gets to do the one thing she loves the most, be around dogs.
It works out great, especially since Allie's mother owns a dog grooming shop. With a little mention of starting up a doggy day care, Allie is officially a dog-sitter in the shop, and she gets paid for it.
Being in charge of a doggy day care sure does has its benefits, like being able to see the new guy in town, Jack, who just so happens to love dogs and decides to let his own dog, Barkley, stay at the day care. But his sweetness towards the dogs and very attractive looks just doesn't excuse how much of a jerk-boy he is.
Of course there is always company that isn't really wanted, and for Allie it's Megan, the very rich and very snobby girl who happens to have one of the meanest and most unfriendly poodles around, Tallulah. It's bad enough that Megan just can't keep her paws off of Jack, but also owning a dog who happens to pick on other dogs is just so inexcusable for Allie.
But why is it that this sometimes nice jerk-boy, Jack, is becoming more interested in Megan then he is in Allie? And why is it that whenever Allie is with a pack of dogs in public, something has to go terribly wrong? Allie just doesn't know why everything bad has to happen to her. But maybe, just maybe, there is still a chance for Allie to make everything she ever dreamed of officially work out -- like her first kiss.
Another great addition to the FIRST KISSES line of books, PUPPY LOVE is both charming and satisfying. The interaction between Allie and Jack is what makes this book worth reading, since they will make you believe that anyone can find the perfect person for their first kiss.

Two paws up!.......2007-04-27
Thirteen-year-old Allison Elizabeth Morris, aka Ali, has hit an awkward point in her life, complete with a wide array of "almosts." She's almost fourteen. She's almost a freshman in high school. She's almost running her own business. But, as the saying goes, "almost doesn't count." Which is why Ali is stuck in neutral, attempting to clamber her way through life until her "almosts" become a reality. Luckily, one "almost" has managed to do just that. After suggesting to her mother, the owner of Perfect Paws - a dog-grooming salon - that they should offer a daycare for pups, she agrees to open one under the condition that Ali spend her summer keeping an eye on all of the slobbering charges that walk through the front door. Ali is only too thrilled to agree to this condition. After all, she can't imagine spending her summer doing anything but roughing it with some furry canines. And, now that her best friend Shan Chan has been forced to spend the summer with her grandparents in San Francisco, Ali knows that the hot, sticky days are sure to go by uber-slowly, unless she can find something fun to do, and this is it! Everything starts off smoothly. The dogs are getting along perfectly, the sun is shining, there's dog chow in the air. Then Ali's worst nightmare walks through the door with her pampered pooch, Tallulah, and everything goes all wrong. Megan "the Mega-Snob" Fitzmartin is the princess of James Madison Middle School, and absolutely perfect. She's also Ali's arch-nemesis, and an individual who sets out to ruin the life of anyone she doesn't "care" for. Oddly enough, not only does Megan's dog share her taste in clothes, but her personality, as well. Tallulah causes a handful of problems at Perfect Paws, leaving Megan threatening to ruin Ali's daycare business. However, Ali's run-in with a handsome new stranger named Jack McKenna has her head in the clouds, and Megan's threats do little to leave her shaking. Ali has never felt so strongly about a boy before, and can't help but find herself fantasizing about kissing Jack. The fact that he loves animals, and has an adorable dog of his own named Barkley doesn't help matters any. Ali wants nothing more than to tell Jack how she's feeling, or for him to ask her out on a date. Unfortunately, Megan has already begun to sink her claws into him, inviting him to amusement parks, sitting with him at the local country club's Family Frolic day, and inviting him to join the Youth Committee, who just happen to be organizing the Fourth of July dance. Ali instantly knows that she can't compete with Megan. After all, where Megan is girly, skinny, gorgeous, confident, and...all around perfect. Ali is a tomboy, athletic, and always happens to have a smudge of dirt on her face. It's obvious that, next to Megan, Jack would undoubtedly ignore Ali, and focus all of his attention on the resident cutie. Still, Ali can't help but feel that there's some sort of connection between her and Jack. But, without Shan there to talk it over with, Ali finds herself caught in the middle of two very strong feelings - liking and loathing Jack. Now, she'll have to pinpoint the truth, or be left out in the doghouse while everyone else is inside having fun.
TRUST ME made me giggle, THE BOYFRIEND TRICK made me grin, so there was no question that I would adore Jenny Collins' PUPPY LOVE. While each of the aforementioned novels are by different authors, they are all a part of the FIRST KISSES series, which has quickly made an impression upon me. As opposed to featuring overly-descriptive romantic scenes, or downright crude language, like so many books on the tween/teen market these days, the FIRST KISSES series manages to present an adorable array of tales revolving around first romance, in a way that keeps it clean, and provides wholesome entertainment for tweens, as well as their older sis. Jenny Collins' PUPPY LOVE is no exception. In the same fashion as Hawthorne's TRUST ME and Davis' THE BOYFRIEND TRICK, Collins has penned an adorable tale of first love that will most certainly appeal to animal lovers. Ali's no-frills appearance, and feelings of confusion are completely relatable, and truly make her a lovable character. Her ability to stick up for herself in any situation shows that she has confidence deep down inside her soul; while her compassion towards the four-legged species is enjoyable to read about, presenting a cast of furry characters who are memorable and adorable from beginning to end. Ali's relationship with her parents is fun to read about, as they entrust her with so much independence and responsibility, as opposed to trying to hold her back, and keep her under lock and key. The independence and responsibility bestowed upon her only works to make Ali appear more mature, and less childish - except when it comes to Jack and Megan. The mix-ups, and debacles Ali gets herself into throughout PUPPY LOVE are hilarious, and the fact that her embarrassment always takes place in front of the guy she's crushing on couldn't be more true-to-life. An enjoyable, can't-put-down read. Two paws up!

Tug of Love.......2002-12-17
When a lab turns up and is claimed by two people, and a famous mutt stays at King Street Kennels the Parkers have trouble over their heads. This wonderful story will keep you on the edge of your seat as Neil tries to find out who Jason, aka Junior, really belongs to. The story is very exciting: Junior's old owners take him back when he runs off at a local dog show, and move away the next day. But a lab breeder, who rightfully own the dog, wants him back. Over all it was a good book, but I didn't like the ending that much. Even though Jason belonged to Westons, they got rid of him and he found a new home that would be more suitable. Any way, the breeder had papers and it was officially his dog. I thought their plan to "share" Jason was very unrealistic. It's also not fair to the dog to be torn between two families.
Tug of Love.......2001-02-08
Jason gets loose at a dog show. king street kennles reunites jason to his owners the weston family. the weston family move the next day. mr.scott then turns up and say's jason's HIS dog and his name is juinor. can neil and emily find out who jason's (or juinor's) real owners are???
All-time Favorite Puppy Patrol Book!.......2000-12-04
I LOVED Tug of Love! It was the best Puppy Patrol book. Jason (or Junoir) is a cute, smiley, sunny yellow Labrador. He is starting to become big in shows and will soon be bred at a Labrador Breeding Center. But then, when everything is just right, Jason is stolen... And then, appears at King Street Kennels. Will he ever get back to his RIGHTFUL owner? You HAVE to read it!
Tug of Love : Jason or Junior.......2000-11-17
Who did the yellow labrador belong to. Was his name Jason or Junior. Neil Parker And his sister Emily had to figure out the mystery of the yellow labrador. The reputation of King Street Kennel was on the line.Tug of Love is a heart-warming story with exciting turns and twists in every chapter.
