Book Description
Having a child is a cherished dream for most of us. But what happens when nothing happens--or a pregnancy ends in tragedy? Authors John and Sylvia Van Regenmorter share their own experience in When the Cradle Is Empty: Answering Tough Questions about Infertility. With wisdom, compassion, and sound biblical advice, this comprehensive guide helps couples explore their options, get the medical help they need, deal with pressures from family and friends, and protect their marriage.

I agree with some points...........2006-03-06
I was expecting a little more from the book than what was offered. I felt as if I were being told how to feel rather than being comforted with words. Perhaps I mustn't be so senstive. Infertility is not an easy subjet to discuss and hurt feelings are bound to arise. I didn't seek medical help until my husband and I tried for three years. According to this book, that's a huge no-no and I was almost frightened that there might be absolutely no hope since we delayed our trip to the doctor.
Try to keep an open mind when reading this book.
Wonderful And Comforting.......2006-01-21
We received this book as a gift while dealing with our long infertility journey. It was such a blessing to have the compassion and reassurance this book provided during a time of our lives that was so hard and lonely (lonely because unless you have gone through it, you can't really understand it). After God blessed us with a child I passed this book on to another friend who was dealing with infertility as well. She was so pleased and relieved to get this book once she opened the pages and began to also receive it's reassurance and support.
Useful Christian resource for infertility.......2005-08-02
I was so pleased to finally be able to read this book. It was great to hear about infertility from both the husband's and wife's points of view. I felt like my struggles with infertility were validated and discovered that there are others feeling the same things as I do. This book does take a Christian perspective to infertility, which I appreciated. While the authors do give some perspective on assisted reproductive technologies, I would also recommend speaking with your pastor or spiritual advisor to find out what your church group thinks, as I have discovered it varies some between denominations. I appreciated all the great web links and other resources the authors outlined in the book as well. A read well worth it.
When the Cradle is Empty-Answering Tough Questions about Infertility.......2005-07-19
Nice to have both spouses experiences with infertility expressed.
I did not agree with everything written in the book regarding assisted reproductive technology. I believe the Catholic understanding of always keeping the unitive and procreative aspects of the marital union intact. The end never justifies the means. Other than that, I was encouraged by the book.
A Must Have.......2005-04-26
I was sceptical about buying another book to "help" me through my struggles with infertility, but once I began to read this book I wished that I had purchased it much earlier. This book gives advice as well as reason why you may be asking hard questions about what you are doing wrong in your life to have to go through this. Because of reading this book I am strongly considering starting a support group in my area. I am very thankful that I was able to take the time to read this book.
Book Description
The Way to Love Your Wife is a repackage of The Married Guy’s Guide to Great Sex. This popular book on marital sex is directed to men with the purpose of changing their attitude and approach toward sex. It helps take the pressure off of both spouses to perform or achieve certain results, and gives the man the confidence he needs to know and understand how to meet his wife’s needs.
Customer Reviews:
Wife AND Husband agree Best book on SEX we've read.......2007-07-23
THis is an excellent book and we both found it helpful in understanding what we have not been able to grasp before it. BUT it is exactly the same book as A Married Man's Guide to Great Sex just with a different cover on it. I guess the Married Man's guide gets the husbands to buy the book and the The Way to Love Your Wife gets the wives to buy the book for their husbands.

A Fresh Blend.......2005-05-23
This book was great! It gave me a lot of insight and helpful information that all led back to the Source - God. I married 3 years ago with 3 children of my own to a man with 3 teenage children and we now have 1 together. I deal with many of these issues: finances, in-laws, exes and the children (teens), so it was a true blessing to know I am not alone and that blended families can succeed.

Just what most people want to do!.......2007-10-17
This book provides the methods needed to attain what most people really want, happiness. By giving appreciation to others and ourselves we can begin to create the positive state of being that we really want in our lives. By focusing on what is good in our lives, we can create even more greater possibilities for ourselves and those around us. Mike Robbins gives us great technology for going where we really want to go.
SLOW DOWN AND READ THIS BOOK.......2007-10-01
It feels so good to slow down and think about the Good Stuff in our lives. Robbins' ability to intersperse hard data with his powerful story makes for reading that you can't put down and lessons that you won't forget. I've already bought 25 copies of this book. I couldn't think of a better way to show my APPRECIATION for the people around me than to pass on Robbins' message.
This Book Is A Life Changer!!.......2007-09-28
"Focus On The Good Stuff" stopped me right in my tracks.
The book caused me to have several revelations several weeks after reading it.
Those are: 1) That how arrogant it is for any of us to complain about our lives!! The unseen forces are constantly working for all of us to sustain and rise the vibrations of our lives and LIFE that is all around us.
2) And that by taking the focus off what is wrong and focusing instead on all the beauty that exists everywhere, we become enlightened beings--infused with the Power of Appreciation for Everything!!
This book took me to the next level of my spiritual growth.
Please read, in-joy and let the feel good vibes infuse your entire body, mind and soul!!

Direct, Practical and Powerful - A Source of Optimism.......2007-09-04
I found this book a welcome treat. The content is clear, uplifting and best of all immediately applicable. I have not only had several "a-ha" moments while reading the book, but have found that I am already actively appreciating and acknowledging my family members in a conscious way, and they can feel it.
I am struck by how I am more fully in touch with my heart and the immense gratitude I have within through working with Mike Robbin's words and inspiration. Thank You Mr. Robbins!
It is in the giving.......2007-08-30
Robbins proves in this book the adage that it is in the giving that we receive and that is precisely the power of appreciation. Appreciation sounds so easy but it's easy to get caught up in negativities of life. The gift we receive when we honor others and their uniqueness is our own negativity drops and we start to realize that life allows us this capacity to affect other people in a positive way through our thoughts, words and deeds. This is a great book for anyone needing reminder of what appreciation can do for you. Also check out Nexus: A Neo Novel a wonderful novel about personal transformation.

Spiritually charged.......2001-12-26
I was given this book yesterday, on Christmas Day. Tears weld up just reading the first paragraph in the forward and I was hooked by the time I got through the third page. I could not put it down. Start the New Year off right--do something tremendously positive for your family and read this book. It is life changing. If we want revival in our churches, our cities and in our nation, it's got to start with us in our homes. Change must come from within. Last night, I ordered multiple copies for pastors, family and friends.
An eyeopener!A look at restoring the "Family"........1999-09-17
No woman will ever think again of leaving her husband. (that is the easy way out you know). Men will finally discover their role of husband and Father.Children can again behave like children and the whole family can draw strength from each other to face the challenges of life. The Author has a passion for saving the family, the covenant of marriage and the preservation of future generation. We have built the foundation of our families on sand, and we are sinking in divorce and seperation from our children. Dennis Rainey shows you how to restor that family unit by going back to the basics. It may seem very radical to most, but it is a solution that will work. When I think of all the broken marriages and broken children that might be saved by the information in this book, I am inclined to mail one to every houshold I know. READ IT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
