half good, half bad.......2007-10-18
The beginning of the story was very entertaining, I enjoyed it very much and could not spot reading. It has some good insight on how women generally behave, and you are scandalized when yu can recognize yourself in some of the girls actions. However the last ten chapter were way too boring, it seemed as if the action had stopped.
I do recommend it if you want some light reading to distract yourself from the stress of everyday life.
ExCeLlEnT bOoK!!!.......2007-10-01
I've decided that this is my favorite book of all time....okay, that is until I read it's sequel, "Something Blue"....
Both books are fantastic. Easy to read, easy to relate to. Not too descriptive, where some books outshine the characters and go on and on about the colors and smells... it's hilarious, but you could totally see yourself being one of the characters, if not a few of them. Personally, I related well with Rachel and had total disdain for Darcy. After I got to chapter 21 in "Something Blue", I knew I found my new best friend, Darcy to be very uplifting and real.
Giffin's natural writing style made it so easy to flip page after page and I found myself calling my girlfriends begging them to buy all 3 books so they could relate as well. I am very impressed, and now find myself impatiently awaiting the arrival of her fourth book this coming year.
Emotion Inspiring...be it good or bad.......2007-10-01
Emily Giffin has written a tale that will inspire some emotion from you, and I'm always impressed when an author can either make me happy or angry or SOMETHING...that's what keeps you reading :-) Even as I read some of the 1 and 2 star reviews, I notice that folks are more disturbed by the morality (or lack thereof), not so much of a boring or ill-told story. Emotion - good or bad! Pick it up and see what emotion this story elicits from you!
What does friendship mean again?.......2007-09-27
Just finished the book and really don't understand how other's liked it. There a fundamental rules you just don't break and reading this and the rave reviews made me think we'd lost sight of them. No, Darcy was not a perfect character and yes she normally got what she wanted, but is that any reason for her feelings to be stompedd on by the two people who were supposed to love her, no. I would never do this to my best friend there is not a drink in the world that could make this happen. In the middle I wanted Darcy to take over the story and walk triumphantly from both Dex and Rachel, but it appears that is just me. I don't know when being the "other woman" became liberating especially if you're hurting another woman. That's not love if you're hurting someone else that way it is the manifestation of years of jealousy. It's a shame some women dislike other women so much. Yes, Darcy could be petulant but at least she was loyal which is more than I can say for Rachel. I wouldn't want jealous Rachel for my best friend I'd take Darcy (who I could trust with my man) any day.
The 2 books together are wonderful.......2007-09-23
I love these 2 books (Borrowed & Blue). I read a lot but this was the first time I got to read from 2 different viewpoints. They are a great summer/beach reading pair. Read them ... you will love them too.
Book Description
First comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes....a baby carriage? Isnt that what all women want? Not so for Claudia Parr. And just as she gives up on finding a man who feels the same way, she meets warm, wonderful Ben. Things seem too good to be true when they fall in love and agree to buck tradition with a satisfying, child-free marriage. Then the unexpected occurs: one of them has a change of heart. One of them wants children after all. This is the witty, heartfelt story about what happens to the perfect couple when they suddenly want different things. Its about feeling that your life is set and then realizing that nothing is as you thought it was--and that there is no possible compromise. Its about deciding what is most important in life, and taking chances to get it. But most of all, its about the things we will do--and wont do--for love.
Customer Reviews:
ANOTHER WINNER.......!!!.......2007-10-17
Claudia Parr has what seems to be the perfect life; a great job, doing what she loves (reading), great friends, great family and a great marriage...to the wonderful Ben, who is her soulmate. They are alike in many ways...they both love their careers, they love to travel...and neither wants children. Or so it would seem; until the day that Claudia spies the wistful expression on her husband's face when they discover that their best friends are "expecting." A discussion ensues, and Ben seems intent upon getting Claudia to change her mind about having kids...but Claudia is having none of it. Tragically, it results in a separation, and eventually a divorce. But throughout, Claudia cannot stop thinking about Ben. When her romance with a dashing colleague leaves her feeling empty, all it takes is thoughts of Ben with a gorgeous new wife and a few words of wisdom from a client regarding soulmates to make Claudia rethink her decision....but it may be too late.
Clearly having found a formula that works, Giffin has created another compelling tale that will have readers unable to tear themselves away. A fun read, grounded in a gritty reality.

salty and sweet.......2007-10-09
Within the first few pages I loved the book and the spot on reference to what questions people will pose to a couple who does not have kids. Then the book focused on the dilemma at hand and I loved the ups and downs and depth of the characters
Book to Buy.......2007-09-22
Amazon shipped it very quickly!!!! I purchased this to get the savings on shipping, but I figured this book would be just as good as Something Borrowed and Something Blue.
great as usual.......2007-09-07
I love all of Emily Giffin's books so this was a delight. It's not all wrapped up in a neat bow at the end which I normally like but I was so invested in the characters and she did a great job nailing the pit of a breakup.
Something new.......2007-09-05
I have read all of Emily's books and think that "Baby Proof" is a great third effort. Unlike her first two books, it does not follow the Rachel and Darcy storyline and features all new characters dealing with seemingly more mature issues.
I agree with some of the reviewers that the book is slower than Emily's first two, particularly in the first third which deals with the breakdown of Claudia's marriage. I think the subject matter of the book (divorce, babies, etc) makes it less "sensational" than the other books, but by no means is it boring or uninteresting. You really feel Claudia's heartache and try to laugh with her as she copes with her divorce from Ben. And by the time Michael and Richard show up in the story, the book really takes off and you won't be able to put it down. I loved the way this book followed Claudia's ups and downs and I thought the ending was perfectly done. I would recommend this book to anyone.
If you have not read Emily's first two books, you should read them as well.

Book Description
From the New York Times bestselling author Emily Giffin comes a novel that shows how someone with a 'perfect life' can lose it all-and then find everything. Darcy Rhone thought she had it all figured out: the more beautiful the girl, the more charmed her life. Never mind substance. Never mind playing by the rules.Never mind karma. But Darcy's neat, perfect world turns upside down when her best friend, Rachel White, the plain-Jane 'good girl,' steals her fianc, while Darcy finds herself completely alone for the first time in her life...with a baby on the way. Darcy tries to recover, fleeing to her childhood friend living in London and resorting to her tried-and-true methods for getting what she wants. But as she attempts to recreate her glamorous life on a new continent, Darcy finds that her rules no longer apply. It is only then that Darcy can begin her journey toward self-awareness, forgiveness, and motherhood. Something Blue is a novel about one woman's surprising discoveries about the true meaning of friendship, love, and happily-ever-after. It's a novel for anyone who has ever, even secretly, wondered if the last thing you want is really the one thing you need.
Customer Reviews:
Very Disappointed.......2007-10-12
I'm definitely in the minority here, but I was very disappointed by this book. None of the characters are very appealing. Yes, in the beginning, the main character, Darcy, is very selfish and manipulative. But her bad behavior doesn't justify all the self-righteous actions of everyone else. In my opinion, so-called "best friend" Rachel gets off way too easy. What kind of person sleeps with her best friend's fiance??? No matter how you look at it, Rachel isn't an honest character. She's written as the "nice" one, but I didn't find her likable. Dex, the ex-fiance, and childhood friend Ethan aren't much better. They spend altogether too much time criticizing Darcy. I didn't feel any sympathy for Dex. He actually takes Rachel along on what would have been his honeymoon with Darcy--and neither he nor Rachel seem to feel at all guilty or awkward about this. And nerdy Ethan is so judgmental, I couldn't understand why Darcy ends up falling for him. The plot is very predictable and ultimately a letdown. Somewhere in the middle of the book, Darcy undergoes a metamorphosis. By the end, the old Darcy is completely gone. The new and supposedly improved Darcy is a like a brand-new person--she changes so much, she's practically a candidate for sainthood! But I'm giving the book 3 stars because Emily Giffin is a very talented writer who has a gift with words. If you're looking for very light entertainment, you might enjoy this book. But if prefer fiction with a bit more depth and believabilty, you'll probably want to skip this book. I was looking for a fun read, but I can't believe I wasted my time reading this.
Even better than the first!.......2007-10-06
I loved this story told by Darcy this time around. Her character is one you love to hate but eventually grow to love. I laughed and cried throughout the story and even found a way to relate to the character despite living in rural New Jersey with two kids. I truly loved this story and was unable to put this book down until it was read from cover to cover.
Ok, so I liked it........2007-10-04
I enjoyed this story as much as 'Borrowed', as both books are page-turners; however, they are page-turners in different ways. During 'Borrowed', your mouth is usually agape due to the shock of what's unfolding...during `Blue', you get to watch Darcy Rhone's transformation. Some reviewers' say it's not believable for Darcy to change `just like that', but what I got was that this person she became is really who she was all along, it just took her some time to become okay with knowing and understanding who she really was. At any rate, I do highly recommend both books. You should definitely read `Borrowed' first, as you really won't fully appreciate `Blue' not having done so.
Absolutely WoNdErFuL!!!.......2007-10-01
I've decided that this is my favorite book of all time....okay, that is after I read it's prequel, "Something Borrowed"....
Very Good Follow- Up.......2007-10-01
I really enjoyed this book alot more than I thought I would. I picked up the first installation "Something Borrowed" while being delayed at the airport. I enjoyed that book so much that I thought I might like this one. Which I have to say is pretty good. It basically is a continuation of the first one and a different viewpoint on what occured in the first book. The story of 2 friends who are as different as 1 can imagine but find themselves in a love triangle with the same man. "Something Blue" is the story of what follows. I would recommend both books to anyone who likes books about friendship and love.

Anyone who has managed the process of developing or redesigning a Web site of significant size has likely learned the hard way the complexities, pitfalls, and cost risk of such an undertaking. While many Web development firms have fantastic technical expertise, what sets the topnotch organizations apart is the ability to accurately manage the planning and development process. Web Redesign: Workflow That Works directly addresses this crucial area with a specific, proven process.
This brief but important book lays out a specific five-step strategy--called the Core Process--that can always be applied to the development of Web sites and fine-tuned to almost any type of project. Each step--defining the project, developing site structure, visual design and testing, production and QA, and launch and beyond--contains three related but distinct tracks. The text begins with a brief overview of each of the steps, then delves deeper into each with detailed explanations as well as specific forms and project-management strategies. This book does not cover back-end, server-side programming. Instead, it focuses primarily on the visual, conventional components of a Web site.
Authors Kelly Goto and Emily Cotler compiled this book in an attractive, easy-to-read format. This process guide uses numerous full-color screen shots to illustrate site examples, as well as plenty of site diagrams and sample forms. The book even has a companion Web site with downloadable forms in PDF format to put the Core Process into immediate action. --Stephen W. Plain
Topics covered:
- Step 1--Defining the Core Process: discovery, planning, and clarification;
- Step 2--Developing site structure: content-view, site-view, and page-view;
- Step 3--Visual design and testing: creating, confirming, and handing off;
- Step 4--Production and QA: prepping, building, and testing;
- Step 5--Launch and beyond: delivery, launch, and maintenance.
Book Description
If anything, this volume's premise--that the business of Web design is one of constant change-has only proven truer over time. So much so, in fact, that the 12-month design cycles cited in the last edition have shrunk to 6 or even 3 months today. Which is why, more than ever, you need a smart, practical guide that demonstrates how to plan, budget, organize, and manage your Web redesign - or even you initial design - projects from conceptualization to launch. This volume delivers! In these pages Web designer extraordinaire
Kelly Goto and coauthor
Emily Cotler have distilled their real-world experience into a sound approach to Web redesign workflow that is as much about business priorities as it is about good design. By focusing on where these priorities intersect,
Kelly and Emily get straight to the heart of the matter. Each chapter includes a case study that illustrates a key step in the process, and you'll find a plethora of forms, checklists, and worksheets that help you put knowledge into action.
Customer Reviews:
Good Book .......2007-04-11
This book is a good intro into how to manage a website implementation or redesign from the prospective of a designer. I am not a designer, but still found the book useful because it does cover all the steps; not just the ones that designers are concerned with. The book takes a good approach and is easy and interesting to read.
The best treatment of the web design process around.......2007-02-06
I have my quibbles with this book, but they are all very minor. It could stand an update, but what web book over 6 months old couldn't. I have to give it five stars because it is head and shoulders above anything else.
Thoughtful yet a little dated.......2007-01-12
Despite being the best book I have read thus far on this topic, it's content now is a little dated. Certainly a worthwhile purchase, it outlines a typical site development workflow and now having deployed portions of this methodology in my workplace I know it works.
Great Guide for Web Redesigns.......2007-01-09
This is a good detailed process for designing and redesigning web sites. Great re-usable documents and worksheets to help you on your way. Details and describes the process very well with good examples.
Worth the buy........2006-09-28
I found it a very useful book, especially with all the downloadable forms. I felt it was a little light on user testing - but otherwise, very good. It felt a bit repetitive and that things were presented in an odd order sometimes, but it's still worth the buy.
Book Description
The easiest diet going is now even easier--and tastier. Off to an explosive start, The G.I. Diet quickly landed on New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists, and required five quick printings (for a total of 190,000 copies) to keep pace with demand after national publicity discovered the "Canadian miracle diet" (Woman's World). Now, continuing to build on the nutritional wisdom of the glycemic index, Rick Gallop follows up with the essential companion--a cookbook and strategy guide for living the G.I. Diet.
Organized around the simple, intuitive principle of green-, yellow-, and red-light foods--if you can follow a traffic light, you can follow this diet--Living the G.I. Diet gets right into the kitchen with 135 dishes that are as easy to prepare as they are unrecognizable as diet food. Grilled Pesto Salmon with Asparagus. Beef and Eggplant Chili. Garlic Shrimp Pasta. Thai Chicken Curry. Pork Tenderloin with Grainy Mustard and Chive Crust. Cinnamon French Toast. Florentine Frittata. And desserts: Baked Chocolate Mousse, Basmati Rice Pudding, Pecan Brownies--that's right, brownies.
In addition, the book spells out how to lose weight (Phase I) and maintain weight loss (Phase II); how to make G.I. eating a family affair; navigating holidays, restaurants, vacation eating; and exploring the psychological and emotional aspects of food and food cravings--everything you need to stay on this proven track.

Low Glycemic Recipes.......2007-10-02
This book of recipes is a wonderful addition to "The G.I. Diet Express" and I highly recommend both books for a healthier lifestyle.
Losing Weight Sensibly.......2007-07-30
This book is a continuation from his first one, which was also very informative. He includes many recipes, which are easy and good, and a menu for a 2 week period to get you going. I recommend this book for anyone trying to lose weight in a practical way.
How to use Glycemic Index right!.......2007-06-27
I liked not only the information in the book, but the simple, easy-to-follow way it is presented. It gives specific information that is available in detail or at a glance. This is the best book about glycemic index that I've found!
Great advice and recipes for the GI index.......2007-03-17
Even if you already are familar with the gi diet, this book explains the information very well, includes good motivational tips, and includes several charts with recommended foods. It has a LOT of very good, easy recipes, from appetizers to desserts (Yes,desserts! They are tasty but low gi! )I'm glad that I ordered this book, and I recommend it.
70 pounds and counting..........2007-02-20
This diet has really worked for me and I want to add some of my observations. There are some pretty comprehensive reviews on here already so I will not summarize anything from the book to minimize repetition.
Stats on me: I started in May of 05 and lost 5 pounds a week for the first four weeks. I only lost so much because I was well over 200lb (as a 5'5'' female). After that it was more gradual with plateaus and minor ups and downs. I have gone periods were I was only following it 50% faithfully and did not gain the weight back. I am moderately active: gym two to three times a week (usually for an hour water aerobics class) and I do not have a car so I walk everywhere.
Diet Pro's:
- Its Healthy. No doctor would be concerned if his/her patient ate veggies and balanced whole grains and lean proteins. Worst-case scenario: you try it and don't loose weight, but you will not have hurt your metabolism or raised your cholesterol in doing so.
- Its Not a Gimmick. This is not based on "eat all the bacon and cheese you want" or some other counter-intuitive nonsense. Its principals are in line with what is known and widely accepted in medical science.
- Cuts Cravings and is designed to keep your belly full. With three meals and three snacks a day of slowly digested food I am not hungry. Additionally, keeping my blood sugar stable stopped the need to binge eat.
- Not dogmatic. Ever read a diet book where you feel like the author is practically trying to convert you to a religion? Gallop certainly believes in this diet and he makes no mention that it might not work for every person (see con below), however he spends most of his time laying out simple science and practical guidelines. He even says your goal should be to follow it 90% of the time. If you have a cookie, big deal, the worst thing that can happen is it will take slightly longer to lose some weight.
Diet Con's:
- Unfortunately, as with all diets, this will work great for some people and not for others. Its more likely to work for you if you:
o Tend to carry your fat in the belly. i.e. "apple," "barrel," or "cone" shaped for women, or a guy with a "beer belly"
o Have major cravings for carbs - perhaps even binge eat on things like pastries, candy, pasta and bread.
o Have been diagnosed with insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or even type II diabetes
-The recipes can be bland - more from the author not being a chef, not the principals of the diet, so if you are a practiced cook you can make alterations for flavor and texture that stay true to the diet. The book encourages you to go the author's website where there are recipes submitted by readers available for free and they are quite good.
-You will have to cook. I have been on this diet for nearly two years and like to cook, so its been great for me.

What makes a perfect wedding? "[The bride] and the groom both look as though there were sunlight behind their eyes, as though their mouths irresistibly turned to smiles," wrote Emily Post in 1922's Etiquette. Great-granddaughter-in-law Peggy Post, author of the fourth edition of Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette, absolutely agrees with Miss Emily. To ensure those bright eyes and smiles, she imparts thoughtful and commonsensical advice on how to plan for not just your wedding, but for all the social and familial obligations and traditions that a wedding entails.
Unlike many wedding manuals, Post includes advice for the "encore" bride as well as for the new bride. In this day of remarriages and blended families, tact and strategy are often needed to make sure feelings aren't hurt and everything runs as smoothly as possible. A chapter on multicultural and interfaith marriages addresses differing world traditions and how they can be incorporated into a touching ceremony that makes both the couple and their families happy. If you are unsure of who is supposed to do what, Post gives you clear instruction, often including a flow chart that delineates the responsibilities of all people involved in the wedding party (bride's parents throw the engagement party, best man returns the tuxes, flower girl's family pays for her outfit).
Throughout Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette are sidebars with questions asked of Post regarding an amazing array of wedding-related conundrums ("My daughter's fiancé wants to follow his family's tradition of having a money tree at the wedding. I personally find this distasteful; can I say so?"). This is a great book to find the answers for all those sticky questions. All involved in the wedding process should leaf through, get their bearings, smile, and then forge ahead. --Dana Van Nest

Customer Reviews:
One of the better wedding books for general questions.......2007-09-23
This was one of the better basic books, for a few questions you can't find the answer to - writing letters, listing on invitation, etc.
outdated.......2007-09-01
I am a traditionalist but found no help from this book - there were so many options that there were no 'real etiquette' answers
Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette.......2007-08-09
Emily Post is known as the expert on wedding etiquette, so naturally that's what I ordered for a friend. The book was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition.
Disappointing.......2007-05-14
I'm getting married in a couple of years, and I already had Emily Post's 16e book on general etiquette, so I thought it would be good to get the full scope of weddings with this book. I feel really stupid for that now, because the book is small, doesn't contain most of the information that the general etiquette book has on weddings, and therefore isn't something you can use separately anyway. It's completely lacking on information, and so if you have to choose between getting this book or getting the general one and having some extra information about other things, get the general one and save some money.Emily Post's Etiquette, 17th Edition (Thumb Indexed)
Fantastic.......2007-04-05
This book has all the information you need about traditions, planning, pulling it all off. Every tiny detail brides are supposed to somehow know automatically is here and is easy to find.
Much of the book is geared toward people planning very traditional weddings - which I am not. Ms. Post gives plenty of more casual examples and perfectly acceptable informal options. The information is also presented in such a way that it is easy to modify her examples to make them your own.
This is a must-have resource for any family planning a wedding!

Book Description
For the first time in audio publishing history, all of Shakespeare's plays are available in one extraordinary, definitive collection. Based on The Complete Pelican Shakespeare, here are all of the master's 38 plays, complete and unabridged, fully dramatized on CDs with an original score and sound design for each play. A monumental project that spanned five years and cost $3 million, The Complete Arkangel Shakespeare represents the collective vision of four people: Shakespeare scholar Tom Treadwell, film producer Bill Shepherd, BBC director Clive Brill, and composer Dominique Le Gendre. Together they have assembled the 400 great actors of the British theater and produced a landmark digital recording with a sophisticated layering of sound that immerses the listener in Shakespeare's world.
Customer Reviews:
Great value!.......2007-07-06
The Arkangel Shakespeare is one of the best investments I've ever made. Both the dramatic and technical quality of the recordings are excellent. Buy the collection yourself and discover why listening to Shakespeare is so much more rewarding than merely reading Shakespeare.
Great Collection.......2007-06-22
It's great to listen to each of these cds with lots of well-known artists. I have now listened to 36 and loved each. If you're a Shakespeare fan, this is a must!
An immaculate collection........2007-05-10
I can't say enough about this collection. This is an absolutely astounding collection of all of Shakespeare's play, uncut and unabridged, performed by some of England's most talented actors an actresses, as some of the other descriptions and reviews speak of.
What I have found invaluably rewarding as a Shakespeare devotee and as a actor is to follow along to Shakespeare's text while listening to these incredible recordings. I did this for a Shakespeare course in college. We'd be assigned a play to read within a week, and within 2 hours, I'd have it all read, while hearing it performed on these amazing recordings. To hear Shakespeare's words spoken as they would have been originally heard nearly 400 years allows for a greater understanding of the composition and the rhythm of the dialogue and verse. It simply does not get any better than this.
I'd highly recommend this collection. The producers of the Arkangel Shakespeare have obviously taken great care in preserving the text of the play and by employing the best of classically trained actors, the greatest works of English literature, filled with characters and words will blossom in your mind's eye. I cannot imagine any library being complete without this collection, and it is nothing short of a delight to have for your own personal library.
Do not hesitate to consider purchasing this collection for your public or collegiate library, or for yourself. It is a hallmark in the canon of comtemporary presentations of Shakespeare's complete works.
A Wonderful Indulgence for Lovers of the Bard.......2007-01-13
This was my Christmas present this year, and I can't stop looking at it. It's almost overwhelming to decide which play to grab and listen to in the car on my drive to work. These are wonderful productions with clear, crisp sound and excellent actors. The classical training is obvious, and many will recognize the names of actors, espcially fans of BBC television. Ciaran Hinds as Antony in Antony and Cleopatra is wonderful. He's also in The Winter's Tale. For any fan of Shakespeare this is a terrific investment. For teachers of British literature it is also a wonderful classroom resource.
Shakespeare in Wisconsin.......2006-08-09
This is a gorgeous production that is indeed a treasure. I listen with a Creative Zen Vision player and every word is delicious. I have enjoyed the first seven plays, thru Hamlet, and every nuance, every word, every inflection, pause, sound, background music theme and all the audio panorama makes every minute an absolute delight. I am now in a quandary about whether to continue listening thru the series or begin again to search among the endless audio treasures for gems I might have missed. This Arkangle series is a gift from the gods and worth many times its price. This kind of talent, dedication and flawless performance beggars description.

Such beautifully woven paragraghs.......2007-08-21
After reading classic novels on and off in school until I got out of college and in my own free time, I have to say Charlotte Bronte's writing style is the most intricately and splendidly crafted masterpiece. Her sister is quite talented as well. It's a great deal to have this collection that you can pick up and just start reading one of the shorter stories, or go over some of the most powerfully written sentences in Jane Eyre.
Charlotte & Emily Bronte: The Complete Novels.......2007-03-15
What a beautiful book! This is a hardbound book with gold leaf and a red ribbon bookmark. Beautifully put together. It contains ALL of the works of the two Bronte sisters, so if you love 19th century "trashy" romance novels, (which I do!) this is the collection for you! Would definitly recommend this edition over any of the paperback bound editions. Cost more, but it's worth it.
Charlotte and Emily Bronte: The Complete Novels.......2007-03-08
Great collection of Bronte sisters' work at a good price. Nice hardcover, with dust sleeve. Big prints. Love it.
If you are a Bronte sisters fan, definitely get this book. The novel I like the most of course is "Jane Eyre". I read some of the dialogues between Jane and Rochester several times, and every time I read, I got something new out of it. I love Gothic romance, and the Byronic hero of the English literature.
The Genius of the Bronte Sisters.......2006-10-17
This one book collection of Charlotte and Emily Bronte's five novels seems quite a deal indeed - and in hardcover! Anne Bronte's novels are must reads alongside this book of works to complete the genius circle of the Bronte sisters. As an ardent fan of all the Bronte sisters, not only for their storytelling brilliance but their high literature skills, I often find myself reading a sentence over and over again in order to absorb something profound or so perfectly worded. Even if you do not prefer the melodrama of Wuthering Heights or dramatic romance of Jane Eyre; as with all Bronte sisters' novels, they are worth the read just for the amazing literary food to be found therein. The bulk of the Bronte sisters' books also illustrate pages from their own interesting and challenging lives of 150 years ago. Whenever I read the novels of either of the Bronte sisters, as with the works of Jane Austen, my own aspiration to write fiction is strongly rekindled.
