Here is a book you can refer to forever. Good stuff to know.

The writer has been on the Jay Thomas Radio Show (Sirius Satellite) many times, and he's very helpful! He gives a tollfree number in the book, so that if you ever get a ticket you can call him up and ask questions about your specific situation and he'll help you FREE!! All for just the cost of this book!

4 out of 5 stars Become an Informed Driver.......2006-08-13

This book was very knowledgeable on the ways cops obtain your speed as well as the faults in the types of ways they obtain it. Along with using correct and "street" terminology, it talks about the different types of radar used to pick up your speed and how they obtain your speed by pacing you. There are MANY faults and this book just confirms my prior thoughts that tickets are purely a money making scam not only for the police but for the insurance agencies as well. If nothing else buy it to be prepared when you do get pulled over as it gives you good tips on how to get away from a ticket at this early stage to. 4 out of 5 only because it does not list laws from every state just some laws from some states.

5 out of 5 stars It really works.......2006-02-28

I just beat my speeding ticket last week by following Mr. Wallace's advice on sending a certified mail to the officer asking for the calibration record, FCC license, training record, etc. The officer didn't have most of it and stated that he didn't get the mail when I showed him the receipt of the certified mail he then said he had some of what I asked for. When we met the judge, He asked to dismiss the case stating that he didn't have the documents I asked for to prepare my case. My case was dismissed and saved me $200 of speeding ticket. I knew I did not speed in the first place and I'm so glad I invested on this book. It's worth the money. I also spoke to Mr. Wallace prior to my case preparation. He has a toll free number and he returns calls...This book is on the top of my list...

5 out of 5 stars Simply The Best Book Of Its Kind-Easy Read-Great Info.......2005-12-08

Out of the 3 books that I recently purchased to help me fight a speeding ticket in my home state of Illinios, the Educated Guide by Richard Wallace was simply the best of them all. It read so easy and was full of helpful information. The one simple tip I learned in the book which I am surprised most people do not think of, is to obtain a copy of your driving history or record from your DMV/Registry and bring it to court along with you. As Mr. Wallace instructs, show it to the court, most of the time the court will dismiss your case because you have a clean record which is EXACTLY what happened to me. I WON! I did not have to pay the $110 and my insurance rates did not go up. I learned so much in this book. I highly recommend it to any parent who has a newly licensed son or daughter or for the husband or wife who cant slow down, like me! I am 52 years old and have never received a speeding ticket but I do drive a little faster than I should, as most of us do! Thank you Amazon for carrying the book and KUDOS to Mr. Wallace for taking the time to write it and the guts to tell the truth about the greed associated with the issuing of speeding tickets by the police. What impressed me also was that Mr. Wallace actually posts on his website the websites of his competition. I especially enjoyed the National Motorists Assocation website, it was most helpful. I learned so much from this experience and after reading this book, I will never receive another ticket again but if I do, I will fight back. Thanks again to both Amazon and Officer Wallace.

5 out of 5 stars SECOND EDITION COMING SOON!.......2006-11-06

The demand for this book spiked when word was released regarding the "Hollywoodland" feature film starring Ben Affleck. The first edition of Speeding Bullet sold out completely. Now the author has written a new prologue, an additional chapter and epilogue as well as provided an additional 70 illustrations for a revised SECOND EDITION due to be released in January 2007. Watch this listing for order information.

5 out of 5 stars 'Second Edition, Great Mystery Behind The Death Of George Reeves'.......2005-09-01

'Speeding Bullet' by author Jan Alan Henderson is a first-rate, page-turning book on the mysterious death of televison star George Reeves, who played the title role on 'The Adventures Of Superman' television series (1951 - 1957).

This is a true, non-fictional account of what happened one summer night in 1959 when television's beloved Superman was killed with a gunshot wound to the head. Offically ruled a suicide, Jan Henderson's exhaustively researched narrative will take the reader down a trail that is often atsonishing and even chilling. Unlike other books on this famous incident, author Henderson does not indulge in unproven speculation, but relies instead on facts with eye-witness accounts that he verifies and documents.

This book also highlights the life of George Reeves, his extensive work on behalf of charity, and the undying friendship that he earned from his many friends and co-workers, which has not diminished over the decades.

'Speeding Bullet' is nothing less than an incredible book, and should be sought out by fans of both George Reeves, and of true crime mystery books. This is the one to read.

The comments above were written for the original published book edition of 'Speeding Bullet' of 1999. They still hold true for the 'Second Edition' (2007), even more so. In the aftermath of the feature film 'Hollywoodland', author Jan Henderson re-wrote the original manuscript of 'Speeding Bullet' to include revisions and additions to the original text. He also added a second 'Prologue', and two completely new chapters after the first book ends. By waiting 8 years after the publication of the first edition, the author has an even sharper perspective of the events in question. The new chapters contain not only information on the recent motion picture based on Reeves' death, but also some new twists and turns in the case that will startle the readers. Some of it is even emotionally moving. Jan Henderson has revised and expanded the case file of this unsolved Hollywood mystery, showing that he still had an ace or two up his sleeve. It also contains an additional photo gallery with 81 new and mostly rare photographs.

5 out of 5 stars Speeding Bullet is an excellent book on actor George Reeves!.......2000-04-15

Speeding Bullet rates as an excellent book on the life and death of actor George Reeves. True, he will forever be known to millions of generations of fans as the one and only true Superman, but he did have a very fascinating life that most people never even knew about. Most TV news stations and newspapers always dwell on his tragic (and maybe mysterious) death, but the author of Speeding Bullet, Jan Alan Henderson, did some excellent research on George Reeves which rates as a very entertaining read through out. It never loses its touch at all. I was just thrilled with the amount of information that there was on Reeves from his childhood to his acting career to being TV's Superman and up to the night of his death in 1959.

An excellent book which I recommend to every fan of TV's "Adventures of Superman" and George Reeves. It will not disapoint you at all. This book also features a foreword written by actor Jack Larson, TV's Jimmy Olsen himself!

5 out of 5 stars "Speeding Bullet" shatters "Hollywood Kryptonite".......2000-02-04

Growing up as a child, reruns of the George Reeves "Superman" series were always high on the list of shows to watch. Trying to gather information about the death of Reeves, I originally read most of this text in a magazine supplement, then found "Hollywood Kryptonite." The latter struck me as very sensational, in the tabloid sense. It is very clear the Mr. Henderson has very carefully and lovingly researched this subject, and he has presented the book in a manner that informs as well as entertains. The credibility of "Hollywood Kryptonite" suffers as the reader finds out about the false sources, misquotes and misinformation contained therein. Mr. Henderson delivers a solid presentation, and anyone interested in the life and death of George Reeves should start right here, and leave "Hollywood Kryptonite" right on the shelf - right next to the Enquirer. Fans of George Reeves won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars fascinating, absorbing first-rate murder mystery.......1999-12-18

Jan Henderson's 'Speeding Bullett' is a an absorbing, fascinating, first-rate murder mystery about the life and strange death of the actor George Reeves, star of 'THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN'. Fans of the classic television series and afficionados of true-life mysteries will not want to miss this page-turner.!

Whether you're administering a Web site, managing an intranet, or just browsing the Web, performance should be a chief concern. In Web Performance Tuning, author Patrick Killelea tackles this challenging topic with a methodical string of problems and possible solutions. This title is most beneficial for those maintaining Web sites but offers several browser-related tips and solid technical background for users of any level.

The first part of this book discusses the basic performance challenges for both the browser and server sides of the equation and advises on an overall approach for identifying and attacking performance bottlenecks. The author offers many important questions for you to keep in mind and some useful techniques for measuring Web performance. This section wraps up with a few case studies that exhibit common problems.

The meat of the book is an in-depth look at all of the aspects of Web performance. The author begins with the client browser and operating-system software, discusses network hardware and protocols, and finally addresses the complex nature of server configurations. He finishes with a discussion of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) and Java scripts and some quick coverage of tuning Web databases.

Throughout the book, Killelea addresses popular application software titles, but with an emphasis on Unix servers. While Web Performance Tuning is a helpful tool for tweaking your Web connections, it also serves as an excellent primer on the technical details of the Web. --Stephen Plain

Book Description

For as long as there's been a Web, people have been trying to make it faster. The maturation of the Web has meant more users, more data, more bells and whistles, and consequently longer waits on the Web. Improved performance has become one of the most important factors in determining the usability of both the Web in general and of individual sites in particular.

Web Performance Tuning is about getting the best performance from the Web. This book isn't just about tuning the web server software; it's also about getting optimal performance from a browser, tuning the hardware (on both the server and browser ends), and maximizing the capacity of the network itself.

Web Performance Tuning hits the ground running, giving concrete advice for quick results--the "blunt instruments" for improving crippled performance right away. The book then takes a breath and pulls back to give a conceptual background of the principles of computing performance. The latter half of the book approaches each element of a web transaction--from client to network to server--to examine the weak links in the chain and how to strengthen them.

4 out of 5 stars A classic reference for every engineers library.......2004-06-09

Published in 1998, this book is one of the best for web performance testing, covering the technical basics for everything you need to know in order to really understand performance tuning. It includes such required information as definitions of various performance metrics, and what those should be in the real world, and moves along through networks, hardware, and operating systems. It goes to great pains to cover a variety of systems, including Windows, Linux, Macintosh, and a variety of web servers.

4 out of 5 stars Classic O'Reilly marred by thin dynamic web coverage.......2003-04-04

Pragmatic and opinionated in the best of old-time O'Reilly style, this book is a colorful guided tour by an old-hand.

The thing is, if you need this book, your website is probably a high-traffic professional/commercial site. And in these days this means (1) dynamic content, (2) database, (3) a content-management/templating system, (4) user identity tracking. Perhaps even interface to legacy client/server systems. Unfortunately, this book goes only as far as CGI, Java, and general DB issues. Messaging middleware is briefly considered. Distributed OO (CORBA, EJB) is discussed and dismissed (a luxury in real world). No coverage of other popular dynamic web technologies (e.g. ASP, ColdFusion) or content-management systems. In particular, a serious discussion of trade-offs between performance and content/workflow manageability would ground the whole discussion in real life.

And the architecture chapter, while very insightful, is simply too thin. After all it is much better and easier to plan for performance from the start, then to try tweaking an existing system. The chapter discusses architectures of varying complexity - without including a single diagram! Complete case studies along the line of the mod_perl white paper .... would be invaluable - perhaps broken down by type (e.g. news/portal/B2C) where unique usage patterns will drive unique architecture and optimization.

Despite the tilt towards monitoring and diagnosis, this is still a very valuable book in an under-served but important area. Generous references enable the reader to explore individual topics further.

4 out of 5 stars Is not just server performance tuning you know..........2003-02-17

This is one book with wide appeal because it is useful to anyone that uses the Internet; so if you are reading this review - chances are very good that you will find this book of some use. The subtitle sums up the book very nicely... it is full of tips to help you speed up the web, regardless of how you usually go about using it.

I've had the pleasure of owning both copies of Web Performance Tuning and I must say the second edition was quite a dramatic rewrite, adding over 100 pages of new and updated information - it was about time for an update considering the age of the book.

Of course, if you are both a web user and a web developer you will derive the most benefit as pretty much everything in the book will apply to you to some degree. Part I focuses on detailing the problems that can occur, and only the first chapter has any useful information for anyone who is simply the web visitor. But if you've got any interest in knowing about server and connection failures and monitoring web performance then it would be worth taking a look at.

Part II of Web Performance Tuning actually looks at how you can improve your web experience; starting from the browser and working all the way through to the technologies that power the web. This makes it easy to follow as well as to help identify exactly where any major problems you may be experiencing are caused.

For those wanting quick answers to their browsing or server problems, then you will find help in the form of questions you might want to ask yourself right at the start of the book. I preferred the old way this quick reference was done, as it was a list of recommendations rather than a list of questions; you don't know you have a problem if you don't know the questions to ask!

4 out of 5 stars Speed Racer.......2002-10-29

Four years in the making, the second edition of "Web Performance Tuning" is some 30% larger (456 vs. 351 pages) than the first, but don't let the increased size slow you down. Patrick Killelea makes good use of it by showing you how to get the best possible performance out of your web server, site, and browser. The primary emphasis is on tuning web server software, but tuning client and server hardware, streamlining content, getting the most bang for your byte are also covered.

Aimed at more advanced system administrators and webmasters, this book provides the tools and techniques you can use to maximize the speed and throughput of your server. The emphasis is on performance monitoring, analysis, and planning. You can't attack a performance problem until you understand it and that means measuring what's actually happening. Lucky for us, Killelea provides free scripts you can use to measure the performance of your web site at his own site patrick dot net.

There you'll find scripts you can use on your Unix server to measure, monitor, and debug any performance problems you're having. Killelea also provides a web-based version of his analysis.cgi script that breaks down the components of web site response time into DNS, connect time, server silence (load), transmission (content size), and close time. Type in your URL and up pops a graph of transmission times, broken down into the above components, complete with a bottleneck analysis and some recommendations.

Speaking of bottlenecks, when it comes to web performance, smoothing out bottlenecks is the name of the game. If your server is low on memory excessive swapping can occur. If you spawn too many processes without mod_perl on board you've got a problem. Killelea's tools and prose show you where the slowdowns occur, and how to fix them for maximum speed.

Everything from low volume sites (1-10,000 hits/day) to high (over 1 million hits/day) can benefit from this in-depth book. Techniques that may work well at lower traffic levels can fall apart once the server heats up. Killelea takes a pragmatic approach to performance tuning with an emphasis on actual testing and measurement rather than overplanning, mathematical modeling, and simple yet expensive solutions.

While bandwidth is steadily increasing, latency stubbornly refuses to decrease. The speed of light isn't changing anytime soon, so addressing latency, especially on the Web, is a high priority. The other parameters of performance are throughput, utilization, and efficiency. This book will help you fine tune them all to make your web site sing.

Book Description

For over 40 years, David Hurles documented the hidden world of rough trade and rent boys posing, masturbating, wrestling, or boxing. His models ranged from drifters and grifters to hustlers and ex-cons — men who came to Los Angeles, and Hurles’s studio, to make it big but mostly landed in Hollywood’s gutter. His photographs were ubiquitous fixtures in gay publications throughout the seventies and eighties and continue to enjoy a strong following today. More Weegee than Weber, these images vibrate with youthful male power and edgy sexuality. Chosen from Hurles's vast archive by noted homoerotic artist Rex, they comprise an amazing photographic history of a sexuality that society has rarely acknowledged.

3 out of 5 stars Old Reliable Photos...Rough Trade.......2007-01-10

Not the best coffee table book I've seen, but worth having at the right price. It's a photo history of "rough trade" going back to the '70's, of men found on the street or in bars of San Francisco and Los Angeles willing to pose nude for David Hurles. It contains some interesting characters and some hot men.

1 out of 5 stars Speeding: The Old Reliable Photos of David Hurles.......2006-03-18

Very disappointing, mostly due to the design of the book. The cover was the best graphically, but inside layouts are amature at best. The designer didn't work with the archival quality of the images at all. This could have been a really special tribute to the Old Reliable video series, but is fell way short. Hence, I returned the book promptly.

4 out of 5 stars Trip down memory lane.......2006-03-17

No pretty boys here! I had seen Hurles' photos for years, often not knowing anything about them. It was fun to learn the history and some of the names behind those photos I remember so well. My only complaints are that the essays are just a little too short and a tad on the fluff side and that the photos are printed in black and white instead of color.

4 out of 5 stars Men of Old Reliable.......2006-01-27

I read a write up for this book in "OUT" Magazine a few months ago and could not wait for the book to come out. So as soon as I found out it was available I ordered it from Amazon.
If you are a fan of this particular subject then you will not be dissapointed in this book. As a young, teenage boy, in the few 'dirty' magazines I managed to get my hands on I would often see the small black and white add's for the "Old Reliable" men. Small as the adds and pictures were they still popped out at me. I wanted to see them bigger, closer, but at my age then I could not afford to send away for them.
These are the types of men that were in my thoughts, not the pretty boy, perfect types.
They are pretty and perfect, but not in the traditional way. The men in the photographs are very street tough and the hard, toned, muscular bodies are not from working out in a gym, but just from working.
So if you were a young gay man in the 1970's and 80's, this book will take you back. It is very well put together.
They ONLY real dissapointment in this book is there is next to no information about the men who were the models. For the most part it gives the first name of the model, but tells you nothing biographically about them. Of course being the type of guys they were and the times being what they were then, perhaps there is not information on them.

3 out of 5 stars Decent Book.......2006-11-04

This was a decent book about fighting your speeding ticket. Was written by a cop, so I enjoyed hearing his perspective in this matter. I used this book with a combination of other books about beating your ticket and would suggest others to do the same. He had some good ideas regarding what to ask the police for when preparing for you case (Officers Arrest records, His training records for using radar or laser, and other things). Honestly, I didnt have the time to fight with a cop in court, so I just hired a lawyer to get it erased. If you have a ton of time on your hands, do not work full time or you dont go to school, then go for it. Im sure very few can answer yes to that. Speeding tickets are a huge scam by the cities and state and it is a multi-million dollar business. It's literally extortion and the courts are betting on the fact that the person coughs up the money and shuts up. Its when that person decides to fight the ticket and stand up to these criminals wearing a badge, you might win your case. Also, try to get your case moved to a different court than the court where you got the ticket. The judges and police officers see each other every day and are in on the scam. Better chances of winning if you get a jury trial and the case being in a different court with a non prejudice judge. If all else fails, hire a lawyer. Buy a really good radar detector (Valentine1.com) and watch your speed. Thanks.

5 out of 5 stars Excuses that really work!.......2004-12-07

This has to be the greatest book on beating the system I've ever read and I don't just mean for speeding. The excuses here are funny and imaginative and can easily be adapted for all kinds of situations. You'll definitely find several that will fit your personality and be believable. You've got to give this book a try, it'll be a lifesaver!

5 out of 5 stars Boy-OH-Boy Do These Excuses Work!.......2004-12-02

I have bad luck and always get pulled over. It's so unfair! So I decided to help myself and got Alex's book. The "hair spray trick" has worked for me now twice in a row. And there's so many more great excuses - that really work. "Speeding Excuses That Work" is worth every penny. If you haven't gotten your copy yet, you're a sittin' duck!

5 out of 5 stars My neck hurts from nodding "YES!" .......2004-12-01

My husband's a cop so I found this book both helpful AND humorous. It is full of really great excuses that will work ... especially the ones for women. Protect yourself and don't miss the must-read bonus section on "Safety Tips For Women."

5 out of 5 stars Very Helpful, Even Funny.......2004-11-28

I drive a black Porsche 944 Turbo. It's a good car, but my driving habits tend to attract plenty of attention. What can I say, it's just a car that likes to do at least 80 on the freeway and just a little bit less everywhere else. Suffice to say, I've already used all the tricks to beat tickets. Speeding Excuses helps me beat the rap before a cop can even write a ticket.

Bottom line: this book is super helpful, whether for bad boys or soccer moms, teenagers or executives. Most people are responsible in traffic and most cops are catching them at a bad moment. This book will help out in those tricky times. This little book has saved me so many times I've lost count. My favorite is the water bottle trick. It works every time. And the tear-out cheat sheet to keep in your console is awesome.

This book will pay for itself ten times over with just one application. Apply generously in times of need.

Imagine you are a boy named Sam, and you have the ability to tell if people are lying. Do you tell everybody or keep it a secret?

When I read this book I was amazed, because it was so extraordinary, and I don't like reading a whole lot, but Liars is about a boy named Sam and the little town he lives in.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes twists in thier stories, because this story has a lot of twists and turns, so you never know what will happen next. This is a great book and I think that everyone should read it.

5 out of 5 stars Write on, Wells!.......2000-06-02

Robert E. Wells writes about speed in a book that is fun and easy for younger elementary school kids to understand. The book compares the fastest living things such as the ostrich and cheetah, then moves on to rocket ships and meteoroids and the speed of sound and light. A chart in the back compares how long it would take each of these to reach the moon from earth! I also recommend Wells' other books: "Is a Blue Whale the Biggest Thing There Is?" and "What's Smaller than a Pygmy Shrew?" I wish more kids' books were as fun and educational as these.

4 out of 5 stars Kate Cann Does it Again.......2004-12-27

This novel is the third and final novel of the Hard Cash Trilogy. Case in point- you should read the other two novels in order before reading this one for it to make sense. Hard Cash, Shacked Up, and then Speeding. In this novel Bonny and Rich finally settle down together in a relationship. Before they can even enjoy each other, everyone is in their buisness from Tigger, Nick and Barb, etc... Adding depth to the novel is Bonny's secret problem with sex and Rich's ex Portia. Bonny's friend gets lured away by her possessive bf to a cult and Rich and Bonny hit the road to save her. Don't think this is really a road trip b/c it really isn't. The novel is fresh with only a few dull moments. The ending is good as well.

5 out of 5 stars What Does It Take To Make a Hero?.......2006-02-13

For Nicholas "Nicky" Herrera, his life is simply defined by getting through the day. His very Catholic mother has a habit of reminding him how much he's like his older brother, Salvatore. His police officer father tries to keep the family peace. His other brother, Paulie, is the smart one. For Nick, who is barely making it through the tenth grade, he's finally decided that there's nothing more in his future than surviving, and possibly working at the docks or in sanitation like the goals of his best friend, Marco.

Until one day, Nick rescues a little girl from the tracks of the subway. Suddenly, he's a hero, and every quarter he tosses keeps coming up heads. When he garners the attention of Linda Lanko, the daughter of the richest developer in New York, he realizes that there might be a purpose to his life after all. Rescue opportunities are now popping up all over, and word-of-mouth throughout the city has turned Nick into a modern-day hero of Superman proportions.

Nick's heroism, of course, brings him all sorts of problems that he never even imagined. While on one hand his life now seems charmed, his personal relationships--with his family, with Marco, with Linda--are taking twists and turns into unfamiliar territory.

Then tragedy strikes a number of devastating blows all in quick succession, and Nick realizes that being a hero isn't all it's cracked up to be. Who is Nick Herrera, really, and what's his purpose in life? It's suddenly the most important thing in his life to figure it out, and the way he does that will leave the reader breathless.

    Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars The best guide on magnet therapy available.......2001-05-29

I have perused many books about magnet therapy and found this one to be the best. Unlike other books on the market covering this topic, "Healing Magnets" explains the complicated science behind magnetic healing clearly and concisely. I appreciated the comprehensive documentation and practical applications for a therapy that has worked for me but remained a mystery as to why until I read this book. I encourage anyone who is using magnets now or is wondering if they should for health reasons, to get this book and use it.

    5 out of 5 stars Well-documented resource.......2001-05-05

My patients often ask me questions about magnet therapy. This book answered all my questions and then some. I recommend it both to my patients and colleagues who want a clear explanation and well-documented resource.

5 out of 5 stars Everything I wanted to know and more........2001-01-20

If you want to quickly get your arms around magnet therapy, read this book. Having first used magnets a few years back, I knew they worked - but I didn't know how or why. There was very little accessible information on the topic then, and I ended giving up on understanding why I was having such great results. This book does a fantastic job of explaining the hows and whys in language I can easily understand. So many people say there's not much evidence that magnet therapy works. Maybe not yet in the US, but this book summarizes studies from around that world that prove that it helps a far wider range of conditions than I ever imagined.

It's comprehensive, well-researched and easy to understand. Two thumbs up!

5 out of 5 stars Makes the hard stuff easy.......2000-12-26

If you're going to buy one book on magnetic therapy, this is the one. It is very clear and makes the science easy to understand. It is also very well organized so that you can find out what is known about the use of magnets for various conditions. I found the buying and treatment guidelines particularly useful.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent resource for anyone considering magnet therapy.......2000-09-17

Sherry Kahn has written a very readable, thorough and informative book on a complex subject. As a fellow medical writer who has authored a book on the perils of electromagnetic pollution and our ever-increasing ambient radiofrequency exposures, I often get questions from people who are confused about how magnets can be used therapeutically if EMFs are supposed to be dangerous. Ms. Kahn sorts through these, and many other questions well, giving the reader a comprehensive understanding. Although caution is warranted with very strong magnetic fields (such as those used in MRI diagnostics), the human anatomy has been found to be fantastically responsive to low-level steady-state magnetic fields. The problems arise in energy fields with the introduction of artificial characteristics not found in nature -- alternating current, digital pulsing, unusual wave forms, and exposure strengths unlike anything we've encountered before in our evolutionary history. We -- and all other species -- have evolved within the protective cradle of the earth's own steady-state magnetic fields. How arrogant to assume it wouldn't be an important factor in our well-being, or that abnormal inbalance wouldn't adversely impact our health. Although energy medicine is considered ancient knowledge in eastern cultures, it is only now coming to the foreground in western medine. But energetic healing modalities can be quite powerful. People should not use strong magnets willy-nilly or without guidance. That's where Ms. Kahn's book comes in. No one considering magnets should be without it. For a slim volume, it packs a lot of punch.
