I have just finished this book it was roaming around my apartment for 2 months, I picked up the book one day while I was feeling as low as possible about my current circumstances, by the time I fifnished reading this book not only did I feel much, much better but amazing things had started to happen for me.... It has truly changed my life. I had always heard of the law of attration but never really understood it until I read this book, I am now hooked and want to learn everything I can about the subject. I have told everyone I know and they are now interested in following this amazing gift. Please be clear that My faith in GOD has not changed and I truly beleive in the higher powers that are far greater than us, this is just something for me to become a better and happier "me".

An entertaining book about the power of feelings.......2007-10-09

I read this book a while back and found it to be of great value to me. As other reviewers have pointed out, it perhaps could have benefited from some additional editing, but in my view it's the raw content that's key as opposed to focusing too much on the mechanics of the writing. I really liked Lynn's sense of humor, and her passion for the topic was obvious throughout the book. Was it repetitive in places? Sure, but many books in the personal and personal growth categories are like this. If the message is solid I don't see a problem with hearing it a few times within the context of the work. Because it's both informative and entertaining, in my own book I've included "Excuse Me..." as a "must read" for anyone on the path of spiritual growth.

ONE OF THE BEST.......2007-10-04

I have spent an entire year devouring books on the Spiritual Laws of the Universe, you name it, ive read it. I am finally understanding the concepts now and my life feels great. I started with This book "Excuse me your life is waiting" then went on the read EVERYTHING (thanks to the recommended reading list on the back page of The Attractor Factor, thanks Joe!!) including many FANTASTIC Authors including Abraham/Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Florence Scovel-Shinn, Ghalil,Mike Dooley. and many many others, and the thing is Lynn gives techniques to incorporate with what All of these Great Great people are teaching. We do have to RAISE OUR VIBRATION, We have to FEEL GOOD. Postitive thoughts/images/feelings will GIVE US positive events/things in our lives. The thing is Lynn gives us WONDERFUL Techniques to use, I have found myself now going back to this book and reading it again and just LOVING it, it is a must must must read (and practice) to compliment your other readings. GOD BLESS YOU LYNN.

Law of Attraction does not work.......2007-10-01

I absolutely love this book, I have read it several times but the entire premise is flawed.

In chapter six she writes that she "hired a salesperson that was more into lack than I was (naturally; that was all I could attract)" and at the bottom of the same page she writes "It was somewhere right around that emotional low when a bunch of my all-too-enthusiastic friends began insisting I look into this material they had gotten hold of about the Law of Attraction".

Those two sentences are contradictory. If the only thing that she could attract was someone focusing on lack, how would it be possible for her to attract her friends that were focusing on abundance. If the Law of Attraction were a law of the universe, as she states, either she would attract one but not the other. She can't have both.

While I love her story and the inspiration of how things can be turned around in one's life at the drop of a hat, I love the explanation that conditions and circumstances are unimportant, and I have no doubt that her experiences were true and that the "suit of well being" where nothing can harm you is possible, I cannot believe that it came about by using the Law of Attraction. It would have been violated for her to get the information to her in the first place.

I believe that what happened was that the Expanded Self, as she calls, just got tired of playing with the situation that it had created and just created a totally different scenario, only it used the Law of Attraction as an excuse to do so, and make her think that the Law of Attraction was responsible for her turnaround when it has no value whatsoever.

A Life-changing Book.......2007-08-30

Once in a few years you come across a book which has a life-changing impact. This is one of them. The changes in my life as a result of reading it are profound. A few months after reading the book, I am still implementing the ideas and manifesting amazing results. In the last twenty or more years I have read an enormous amount of self-help books, many of them dealt with Reality Creation. This books most definitely gets the first prize. If, like me, you have been reading many books and still not experiencing any significant changes in your reality, this book is the biggest present you could give yourself. Buy it and watch the miracles come marching into your life.

This book is like, really, really fun to read AND write in. I got mine a few years ago, but I want to do it again, so I'm buying another one! Most people would think I'm a little too old for Junie B., but no one can outgrow Junie B. Jones. I still collect the books, and I read at least one Junie B. book a week. I recommend this book for kids 5-9. I'm over the age group I just mentioned, though! Buy this fun, hilarious book! You won't regret it!

My daughter, age 7-1/2, loves Junie B., and so do I. The Personal Beeswax Journal is awesome!!! It is set up as a journal for two people to use. Junies B. has filled in the first person's journal, and there are the same pages left blank for the owner of the book to fill in. Junie B.'s entries are hilarious as well as touching. My daughter has already composed a Haiku poem to write on her Haiku page of the journal. If you have a child who loves Junie B., she is sure to love this book! And if your child is a reluctant writer, this just might motivate her to do a little writing.

My six year old daughter loves Junie B. Jones books. We now have the entire collection and she goes through them like wildfire. She has had so much fun writing silly things in her Junie B. Journal. It will be a keepsake for sure. I almost can't wait for her to get older so we can laugh about the things she has written. It's so cute. I highly recommend Junie B. for kids of all ages.

I have read this book about 5 times now, and there is just so much in there you cant possibly get it all with just one read. This book as well as some other Joyce Meyers books have really changed my life. She is a top notch teacher and writer.

Overall this book is outstanding...the lessons taught in it are directly from the BIBLE so you can't go wrong!

There are basic rules of the universe,yet nowadays in our society there's very FEW who follow them...very few who give out unconditional love to ALL people at all times(especially without a selfish motive)and even FEWER who seek GOD and follow in the footsteps of GOD's will.

This is definately a book to be re-read over and over through the years and especially taught to our children as to make the next generation at PEACE rather than WAR.If only EVERYONE followed this simple advice and lived through SPIRIT rather than EGO,we would NEVER be at war again...Not with family,friends,spouses,children,and especially NOT with the WORLD and NOT with our own selves!...because GOD IS LOVE AND LOVE CONQUERS ALL!! GOOD WILL ALWAYS OVERCOME EVIL!! The more people that practice it, the closer we will be to finding peace on earth!:)

CAVEAT:The only thing I found "wrong" with this book is how she mentions that we shouldnt be part of any clique/group/religion because that "DIVIDES" us, yet then she continues to state how '"we Christians" are powerless as long as we are filled with prejudice'and "We Christians" etc. yet NOT ALL WHO READ THIS BOOK ARE CHRISTIANS! So I found that to be DIVIDING in itself!!(hypocritical) The BIBLE was NOT written only for the Christan people, It was written for ALL MANKIND,as majority of this book was taken from Psalms in the BIBLE. Therefore,I had to take 1 point off for that!

But besides that,the book is a wonderful read and I recommend it to all!

Reduce Me To Love is one of Joyce Meyer's favourites that I've heard being talked about for some time now. It is no wonder that when I was blessed by a dear friend with his book as a gift, I was on cloud nine, and anxious to finish everything I was reading just to start this book.

This book teaches us in great detail about love; a small word with such a deep and profound meaning.
It is the new commandment which Jesus gave his disciples: to love one another and by doing so, prove their discipleship.

Mrs. Meyer draws on her personal experiences as she demonstrates the many respects of love and it's purest motives.
What stays indelibly in my mind was how Jesus uses himself as an example in today's world. Whatever good deeds we do for one another, we actually do for Him and in the same light if we treat our brother with disdain we do it also to Him. We cannot get away from it, Jesus convicts us in the very name of love as he encourages us to walk in the Spirt. I would like to encourage all of those who love reading Christian literature to find this book fast and get back to loving God; the One who first loved us, before the foundation of the world.

That was one of the key lessons I learned when reading this book. I am in a relationship with a man who never recieved unconditional love. If anyone has tried to love a difficult man you know it takes a special anointing. This book helped me to unerstand how to best love others. The important thing Meyers stresses is putting the value of people above the value of replaceable objects. She teaches that love requires one to exhibit forbearance and preferential treatment toward others. Love will cause you to take a step back in order to put someone else's need before your own, yes even those difficult to love people. This book will challenge you to look at the way you show love and teach you how to live love.

New Life.......2001-02-08

I bought this book over a week ago. When I started reading it I just did not want to put it down, and when I was finished I was wishing there was more. So, I started reading it over again. Joyce Meyer has truely made a difference in my life since I started following her ministry and this book adds more flavor to the pie. Love, is one thing i needed in my life, to show to others and she really lays out the road map here. This book has helped me out tremendously. I love how John Fuhrman uses facts in a life's standpoint view from his and other peoples experiances to prove that what he's teaching Is the better, and easier way to live you're life.

He teaches you to look on the positive side in whatever endeavor your trying to reach for. Instead of letting all the negatives overwhelm our thinking.

You'll learn something new with every chapter. I would suggest this book to anyone that feels they need a little more self esteem or just a kick in the pants.

I just can't get past the lack of aesthetics..........2007-08-02

I was soooo looking forward to getting this book - but I have to honestly say that the layout is so utterly boring that I just can't get past it. The book is full of beige, beige, and more beige (other than the black on white text that is).

For an individual that is "directionally-challenged", I would have difficulty locating where I'm supposed to be in the city based strictly upon written instruction. Plus, frankly, I love to look at the beautiful photography that can be found in some guidebooks (and some imagery would help determine if a particular walking tour was a good fit to the reader). I really think if the layout were made more appealing that more people would get into this book.

This book has some good secrets but i found some not very useful or interesting or yet non existant (or so secret they change the adress regularly). Depending on your profession look in the collaborators index for a person of whom you think you identify with or you like their resume and try looking at their secrets its the easier way i found to get some useful and intersting secrets (some colaborators are simply ill-chosen are i don tknow why they were found to be useful to adress in the book). BUt mainly if you are the 7 day vacation turist go for a amercian express ou rough guide to the city and you'll get just fine!

Enjoyable Read.......2007-07-01

The first thing readers should realize is that even though this book is second in the Bullet Catcher series, it is also a stand alone novel. Well written romantic suspense. The only reason it didn't get five stars from me was that there were not enough red herrings in the plot, making the reveal predictable in my opinion. Romance was plentiful though for readers looking for a little more sex in their novels than the typical Romantic suspense.

Max Roper is given a difficult assignment; be the bodyguard for his ex-fiance. He hasn't seen her since she ran away claiming he killed her father and she would never forgive him. Yet, she wasted no time in finding herself a new extemely wealthy husband, who just happened to have died three months earlier leaving her a sizeable fortune and a great deal of power. It's Max's job not only to protect her from whomever is trying to threaten her, but to find out if she killed her husband. The only problem is that he isn't sure if he can get her to confide in him without getting too close in the process and opening up a world of emotions locked to the past. Yes. Either as part of the series or just for someone wanting to read a good contemporary romance novel. Suspense is carefully strung out to pull the reader along. Just don't expect a surprise ending. Hope that helps a little with the decision.

Wonderful read! Fast paced, starts right off and goes. Well written and edited. Sizzling romance. Gosh, the bigger and meaner they are, the bigger they fall. Glad these two got their lives back on tract. What a story. If you like bodyguard tough guys and girls that are not totally helpless, with action, thriller-type, mystery, drama and steamy scenes, you'll enjoy this easy to read book.

Several years later, the two are reunited when Cori hires an elite bodyguard group to provide protection while she investigates the possible murder of her much older wealthy husband. No one is more surprised than Cori when she discovers that Max is the man who is sworn to protect her. But who will protect Cori's heart from the only man she's ever really loved, who's assigned to both protect her and determine if she had a role in her husband's murder?

Full of sizzling love scenes and great bantering between the two protagonists, St. Claire's second entry in the Bullet Catcher series has equal parts romance, intrigue, and sensuality to sustain the reader's attention and waiting impatiently for the next intallment in the series. But I could have done without the epilogue, which added nothing at all to the story (in fact, I found it detracted). Too many authors are using them to do nothing but plug their next book.

Kept Me Reading!.......2006-09-25

I'm not typically a romantic suspense fan, but this book wowed me! The characters are so easy to fall in love with, and the writing makes each scene easy to picture.

I look forward to the next installment of the Bullet Catchers series!

I loved it. Ms. St. Claire promises to Thrill You to Death and delivers. Max is a hero to die for. He could watch my back anytime.

This is a book written for teens. As such it is a great book. But, if you want a great coffee table book, this is it. As a mature Christian, you may not learn a lot about God, but reading just a few pages will brighten your day. This book is better than a hot cup of soup on a cold day.

Wonderful teaching tool.......2002-04-10

I can remember going to church camp as a teenager and hearing the director read this book aloud to the campers. Still today, hearing her read about the Wemmicks and the Song of the King are among my favorite memories from camp. Now that I've returned to camp as a counselor, I'll be bringing this book along with me to read to the kids. The stories paint word pictures that come to life as they are read. (And if that isn't enough, the illustrations in the book are outstanding.) More than that, these stories are specifically intended to open up conversation about the subjects they deal with. The lessons taught through the stories are ones that will stick with the kids--and the adults too. I've already bought two copies of this book, one for myself and one for a friend teaching at a Christian elementary school. If you're looking to instill godly lessons into young children, I doubt if you'll find a more useful, excellent book.

Tweens Teaching Tool.......2001-10-21

This book is perfect for kids 9 - 13. It is arranged in chapter stories that each address a tween issue and then analyze the situation using Godly principles (the secrets). I cried at The Secret of Greatness story.....all about wooden people who put stars or dots on each other according to their beauty, charm, etc. The ending is so wonderful! Each story would make a perfect topic lesson for a Bible class with this age group.

The first book I ever bought for my children.......2007-07-15

I was sexually molested by an uncle when I was 10. To compound the trauma, my mother refused to believe me or help me; that job was left to my father, who did take steps to protect me from my mother's brother.

I went for counseling years later, and felt I'd dealt with the trauma...until I had children. When I found out I was pregnant at age 32, the first thing I did was buy a book, written for children, to explain to them what good touch and bad touch is. I became an overprotective mother because of my past abuse, and each of my children (I have 3) have read this book. I highly recommend this book!

the stories are for about an age of 10 and up in my opinion, my grandson is 5 and I was hoping for something to help him get threw his sexual abuse..Im going to read one of the stories to him in hope it will make sence but in all honesty im not sure it will help... thanks so much for this chance to express my self.
