If you are new, this book might offer more insights, but for the experienced investor there was very content to justify buying it. The only gem I took away from this was preparing a presentation binder on a property for a bank when seeking financing.

This is much better than his cash flow book. Really provides insight about the borrowing process and what lenders expect. Great for understanding the terms. Covers Loan to value, Debt Coverage ratio, Different types of lenders and uses. He compares zero down deals, all cash deals, and the mix of both and points out the real deal of all the scenarios. Also gives good instruction on how to be prepared when going to a lender.
This book is not motivational type at all. Just facts and info about what I mentioned above. It made a lot of things very clear to me. A must read if you are not familiar with the loan process and terms.

Buy this book and the "What every real estate investor needs to know about CASH FLOOW" by the same author, you are well armed in the field of commercial real estate. Both books are easy to read and you will learn a wealth of practical information that can be put to use immidiately. I don't normally write comment for books I purchased, but these two books are special. It is my way to say thanks to the author.

No fluff or filler, this book tells you what you really need to know in concise and certain terms. It's a refreshing break from all the "No Money Down" motivational seminars in book form. This is the real stuff... highly recommended. After reading the first few pages, I got back online and bought his Cash Flow book.

I read this book as a follow up to Frank's other book, "What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow".
Overall, I found the book to be an excellent summary of analytical ways to evaluate your alternative investments in real estate.
The book contains numerous tables, reference charts and tools that one can use in analyzing investments.
Frank has a unique [i.e., simple) way of taking the reader through an analysis or example of what otherwise would be a complicated discussion.
Again, all in all, a great book. I refer to it frequently. Highly recommend it.

Give a gift that matters.......2007-03-08
I bought this book as a gift for my 9 year old grandson. His mom recommended it to me, and I bought it. I only glanced through it before mailing it to him in England. I cannot comment further on the editorial content. The outside appearance of the book was pleasing. The small size will make it easy to hold in a small hand. My grandson told me just the other day that he had started reading it, and had some questions. I referred him to his parents.
An Absolute Must For Every Christian Family!.......2002-07-07
I recently purchased this book to go through with my 10 year old son. I have been so pleased with the dialoge provided in the book! It asks the questions kids really have and helps us parents give answers based on scripture! This book is a wonderful tool for using with your children as you talk frankly about sex and the consequences of going against what the bible teaches. I have already recommended this book to family members with children 8 to 11.
Even though my son is 10 years old now I have decided to go back and purchase the two previous books to this one to go through with him. They certainly couldn't hurt!!!!

There are two books prior to "What's the Big Deal" and we have used these wonderfully illustrated books with all three of our children. We followed the age suggestion and found that the subject matter was presented in a very natural and positive way. The main reason these books are such a blessing is that we need to tell our precious and innocent children the truth so that they are prepared mentally and emotionally when the "lies" inevitably come their way. Don't wait! Your child needs this healthy information.

This is an absolute must read for any men out there who have women partners that have suffered childhood sexual abuse in any of its many and abhorrent forms. My wife suffered this from no less than three different males in her life before the age of 14, and two of them were relatives. I, like you, needed some reference material to try and help me cope with how to help her, and though there isn't going to be a cookie cutter answer for every situation... this book offers a lot of insight and gives you some starting points to begin looking for help.

This is a great book that made me cry when I read it because it was like he knew me in a way none of my boyfriends have ever understood me. I sent it to my boyfriend to read immediately after I finished it. If only I had found this book years ago.

This is a pretty good book, well written and easy to understand. Basically it's support guide for men who are in a relationship with a partner who is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.
The book isn't very long. There aren't many books written from this angle so its worth getting and reading, you could always donate it to a public library later on to benefit others.

I bought three debt books the last time I was at Amazon. They were all good, but this was the most comprehensive in easy to read format and sentences that it made things easy to develop a plan from this book. I already passed it on to two other people.
great information - but use with caution.......2006-12-14
This book is full of great information on high to prioritize your financial life in terms of debt reduction, retirement saving and other saving. But the advice assumes the reader has a fair amount of discipline (i.e., ability to budget and constrain extraneous spending). The book goes into great detail on how to balance debt reduction with maintaining financial flexibility, maintaining good FICO scores, etc. But far too many people who are deeply in debt (and seeking help from books like this) have a spending habit that needs more drastic surgery than this book gives. So, I would say this book gives outstanding advice, but only for a subset of the public who have the right discipline. For many folks, the more drastic "surgery" advocated by cheerleaders like Dave Ramsey will be more effective.

I have known Liz Weston for years as a journalist and have always found her to be very thorough and no-nonsense. This book is no exception. It's well researched with unbaised and sensible strategies for dealing with debt. Were you able to sum up Paula White's understanding of God it would actually form a black hole sucking up knowledge from those nearby. Jesus spoke of her in scripture noting that she takes away the keys to knowledge and is willing to cross land and sea to make disciples, then makes them twice the daughter of hell that she is. For those of you who are willingly sucked into her lust for material wealth know this: You are culpable before God for following this woman. For those not yet deceived by her, heed this warning seriously. She leads you on the paths of destruction.
Paula and Randy to Divorce.......2007-09-15
Paula and Randy White recently announced that they would be divorcing. Please pray for them and continue to support Paula White Ministries.
Anyhow, this book was written when Paula and Randy were happily married (and has no information about their divorce). The book is excellent and very well written. I have read through the entire work book for "Deal With It" and am now reading the book. It's excellent, fascinating, entertaining, and makes a lot of great points. Putting the past behind us is mandatory if we are to press forward and succeed. For those reviewers who are giving this book bad reviews, you are obviously looking at it with a negative perspective. The whole purpose of the book is to get you out of "living in your past" and moving on to "the plan that God has for your life." This book is very well written, there isn't anything misleading about it, Paula is honest, and if you will read this book without having a pre-judgment against it because you think Paula White is rich and famous, then maybe you would actually get something out of it. Paula works hard, she deserves everything she has, and just because you are jealous that you aren't rich does not mean that you should give Paula's book a bad review. If you would quit being negative and started being positive, may all of you who gave this book a bad review could actually get somewhere in life.
Deal with it?.......2007-08-26
How about Paula's marriage? Couldn't she deal with that? Apparently not, seeing how she is getting divorced. Malachi 2:16 clearly says that God hates divorce. Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 says that Paula White has now become an adulteress. 1 Timothy 3:2 says that a pastor should be blameless. The Bible is also clear that a woman is never to have the role of pastor (1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1 Timothy 2:11-12).
That being said, Mrs. White should resign her position immediately and leave the ministry full-time. If she stays, which I'm sure she will find some justification to do so, she will be a disobedient pastor. What a shame that someone who professes Christianity would let her pride get in the way of what God says.
Consumer False Christianity.......2007-05-20
Paula White is but another "peddler" of the pseudo-Gospel (that is false Gospel for the fools who read her book) in America. The false Gospel that thinks Jesus is some cosmic genie in the sky, or a slot machine waiting for his lever to be pulled.
But the people who listen to false teacher such as Paula White are those who are consumed by a truncated and narccistic world view that does not recognize that God is with the poor in their card board boxes, God is with the poor 2 billion in our world who don't have clean drinking water. God is not interested in you have a happy life. God is interested in you following his Son, Jesus, who is Lord over the whole cosmos. This Jesus calls all who would follow to a discipleship that is marked by a path of suffering, joy, desperation, confidence, and most of all a way of living that pours oneself out to the abandoned and vulnerable of the world.
People were not crucified in the 1st century for preaching a gospel about individual hapiness. The problem is that most of American citizens are ignorant fools, drunk on materialism. READ Matthew 24 and 25 and then look at Paula's false Gospel!

Paula White is a dyanmic minister and her book did not dissapoint. It is a must read for women of all walks of life and men to.

I found this book in a rack of Christian books at the local CVS pharmacy. I don't share the authors' faith, and as I opened the book, I was wary of heavy-handed proselytization. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the authors are content merely to acknowledge their faith, and that the bulk of the book consists of very clear description of styles of negotiation and personality types, with lots of anecdotal examples. A good read.
